This is not a dumb question as i cant fin dit anywhere on the page about them.
Right, i recently started playing RS again and i'd forgotten that i dumped most o fmy stuff including all of my gree grees, i've read the page on them and it seems from that that the only way to get more empty ones is to go into ape atoll and buy 'em. which is impossible for me to do due not having any, is there any way i can get an empty one without going to ape atoll?
How is it impossible. You just get the gree grees the way you got it during the quest. You run at the gate, get shot down, jailed, escape, find small boy, give him bananas when grandma is away, get new tally. Then you have to get the dentures and what-not probably and get it enchanted.

no no noooo you need hammer chisel and wc axe, in room 2 go on the snow paths and theres some icicles to chip for 2k craft, in 4 theres a vine on north side to climb then study the wall for 10k agility, in the 6th room at the top path where you go to beat the yeti *i think it was there* you chop the icicles for 20k wc xp, there are levels needed to get them though and must have the stones in inv or given to explorer
Are you serious?
And i'm guessing its only members right..?
-
Well, the quest gives you a 500 exp lamp upon finishing it. Then later, after you wait a while and he has finished examining the "stones" he pays you 5k.
-
How much xp/hr can you get while baiting near draynor bank and banking?
How do you get the extra xp from the quest?
500exp lamp from christmas quest.
And, wait, what?! Are you planning to go long term baiting draynor, because you only get herring and sardines... :?
-
Or buy them.
Whoa, what happened to the emotes O.o  This is awesome.

I had a feeling you made a mistake in there but I think it was me with the 2 coal rather than 4... woops. That had me confused for a minute.
1 addy ore + 6 coal = 1 addy bar
Blast Furnace cuts it in half.
1 addy ore + 3 coal = 1 addy bar
-
No posts
Lol, sorry, i had to laugh.
Anyways, if he uses the Blast furnace, he can cut even with addy platebodies and make a profit with addy bolts. I believe that is correct, did not want to leave you hanging. I'll go make some calculations now....Brb.
EDIT:
[hide=]Adamant bolts 203gp (On G.E.)
Adamantite ore 1,065gp (On G.E.)
Coal 174gp (On G.E.)
Adamant Platebody 9984 (High Alch)
Nature rune 235gp
Well, its 1587gp per bar.
1 bar = 10 addy bolts: 2030gp
Profit: 443gp
5 bars: 7935 = 1 platebody: 9984
-235 Per Nat.
Profit: 1814gp
Conclusion
Yeah, go for platebodies, prices really got jacked up for some reason O.o
This is all at Middle price, so you will have 0-100gp variations in your total profit from week to week, but i think its pretty steady. The Prices are correct because the Blast Furnace cuts your coal costs in half. Zz I had to type this hurriedly, G2g soon.......[/hide]

I vote fletching. For thieving it would be stupid to waste 6 months getting 200m in such a useless skill. Where as fletching you waste 2 months for a useless skill.
If you like thieving, by all means do it, but I doubt you will even pass 20m exp, because after you get the cape, theres nothing afterward driving you other than other people's respect, and a lot can happen in that time.

So I hear that you place around 2 mill in the coffers and then set 10 workers on raw fish.
The question that I want to pose is: "will this get back the money that is 'spent' on the resources if you sell all the fish, if not, what do the other 5 go to?"
and will I have to go back everyday to get approval back to 100%, because I hear others just get 100% on day of collection and still get best results.
(like that guy that went in ftp for 145 days and made double his money)
750K+ in coffers everyday, because the max amount of gp they use is 75k. Keep your approval at 100% everyday. 10 on raw fish, 5 on flax.
Routine:
1. Use Fairy Ring to go to Mis Island (you'll need to remember the codes to mis island and back and to edgeville)
2. Bring a rake, or 10gp, rake the weeds outside the castle to get from 99% to 100% (you can buy a rake from her for 10gp)
3. Run inside, collect items
4. (optional) Deposit another 75k if your coffers dip under 750k
5. Sell whatever you got (also optional, but do it anyways. Code to edgeville)
6. If you didn't have enough money in step 4, then now you do.

That seems inefficient... laying 4/5 boxes near 3 spawns seems better than just 1 spawn, presuming the little guys can't run too far away.
Is this what hunters do now?
Watch the video, you'll see how effective it is, although the guy in the video is reallly slow at setting up and collecting.
Watch it till the end, past halfway you can see him racing with another person who spread his out, They were bothing picking up chinchompas at the same rate, although the 1 spawn method was winning in my opinion.
Yeah, i don't think Artemis1330 was the creator of this video, i think it was some guy on the rsof like 2 years ago.
-
Just a few questions about it, what should i put the 15 resources on(done both quests) and how much money should i put in.
750k+ keep your approval rate at 100% everyday. Collect your items everyday, recharge approval, sell items, and redeposit 75k.
10 on fish, 5 on flax.
-
Do you know the 1 chinchompa trick?
Find the exact location of a red chinchompa spawn, place the max amount of traps around the spawn. Then kill every chinchompa near you using a bow and arrows.
The chinchompa should spawn right away, the chinchompa will then die to one of your traps, if it doesn't just kill it again. Go to a very high population world so that it respawns fast enough.
After you have caught one, it should "die" inside your box, quickly get it and re-setup your trap.
EDIT: I found a video, credits go to, uh....Artemis1330
-
Okies thanks
Why don't you just kill them over the grapple area? You have 76 range... and it only costs 1 inventory spot which won't greatly affect you if your using B2P tabs.
Did you get your items back?

My friend Drivier went to Korea, logged in over there and started playing the same as he had not in Korea
Then, his account was banned because Jagex thought that it was either stolen or sold
It has been over six months and his account is still disabled.
So yes, you might get banned
Are you sure he was banned because of this reason? I'm looking for more opinions on this. It seems so risky yet I want to play.
There are currently 99838 people playing!
And thats slow times. Jagex does not care, period.

cannoning ice trolls is about the best you can do
isn't there that wasallisk ones, i have no idea what they're called, but yeah, your pretty much going to waste on anything. Wait, well, unless your fighting dagonoth kings tip.it style.

1. He said freshman year, so hes probably past it....
I don't care what grade hes in. If hes past freshman year, and his dad is blocking games so he can do his work, yet he STILL insists on posting on a RS fansite, there is something wrong.
calm down?
He asked a legit question, no reason to invalidate an inquiry because he lies or has problems, those are his issues, not yours.
-
Uhm.
1. He said freshman year, so hes probably past it....
2. We have no idea what your talking about
3. if your dad banned you from rs...how do you know the bug is still there?
4. normal detail is translated into High detail, its why you can switch between the two without having to close rs everytime to reload high detail, so when they fix something in normal detail, they're fixing it in high detail too. The cape's graphics are probably glitchy when they get translated.

Wow, finished my calculations and it all deleted, lol.
Let me try it again....
EDIT:
[hide=]Calculations from 56-60.
184,040xp at 56.
2,393 Iron smelting and smithing to 60.
Total: 236,907gp to 60 smithing.
140 iron ore for 1 ring of forging.
18 ring of forgings for 60 smithing.
Total: 19,530gp to 60 smithing.
Total commission: 256,437gp
1 iron bar = 5 iron knives.
Total: 394,845gp for 11,965 knives.
Total Profit: 138,408gp
Calculations from 60-69 (blast furnace).
*Blast furnace cuts your coal by half. You can stay there forever, just bring gp to un-note the ore, coal and mithril, bring a hammer, and make mithril bolts.
4,929 Mithril smithing and smelting for 69.
Total:
1,242,108gp for 4,929 Mithril ore.
1,695,576gp for 9,858 coal.
81gp to un-note 1 mithril ore.
22.5gp to un-note 1 coal.
Total:
399,249gp for 4,929 Mithril ore.
221,805gp for 9,858 coal.
Total commission: 3,558,738gp.
1 mithril bar = 10 mithril bolts
83gp per 1 bolt.
49,290 bolts.
Total: 4,091,070gp
Total Profit: 532,332gp[/hide]
If you do it my way, you'll gain around 670,740gp. I don't know your exact exp, so this is from 56.
When you do the Blast Furnace.
Bring:
621,054gp to un-note
4,929 Mithril ore.
9,858 Coal.
Hammer
**This is based off present time prices, i would say prices will average each other out, as materials are going up, mithril bolts go up as well. The Blast Furnace is awesome, it is really fast because it smelts your ore automatically, so your getting smithing and smelting exp at the same. Don't try to go to the Blast Furnace under level 60, you need level 60 to get access to the anvils there. The bank is so far away, its pointless.
***By commission, i mean the amount of money you need to use to start the project.
-
I need to get Smithing to 69, and I need to know the most efficient (best amount of gp per xp) method, thanks. :]
EDIT: Currently 56 Smithing.
Yeah, ok, lets just list the 10 fastest/cheapest ways to get there.
Stats first?
EDIT: Iron ore (w/ ring of forgies)>Iron bars>Iron knives
Until you reach 60, then go to the Blast Furnace straight to 69 with mithril bolts, Mithril ore & coal>Mithril bolts, sell when done. You'll never have to leave the blast furnance for anything, just bring a hammer, a bunch of money, and your coal and mithril ore noted. You'll gain around 2-4 mil.

Yes it is, but they decrease in value rapidly the more you sell
I.e the more stock the shop has, the less it will buy your items for (so there's no point in dumping a load of unstrung bows in there)
Yes but there is a minimun price that the store buys for and it usually apears after only about 50 sales.
I thinks its more along the lines of 20, many people have thought of this already. The shop in shilo village (and many others) buy items for high alch price, so you don't need to waste money on nature runes. I tried it and it took forever. Might i suggest finding a better way to make money. You could always skill and then sell, i was alching yew longs, and selling 23 at a time to the shilo guy before continuing to alch.

Anyone else have any tips ;)
If it bores you, don't get it...and i'm being serious. If you want the cape for respect, your playing the game for the wrong reasons, if you want the cape for the achievement and goal, then i suggest you try finding a pp world and racing the people on there. Find a partner, listen to music (May i suggest Playlist.com because you can browse other people's playlists that they've made, its amazing what kind of music there are out there), you can still watch videos, just find a routine and "Restore Down" your windows, and put them side by side.
Other than that, forsakemage chat...uhm, i always found eating and playing helps, like grapes which you can slowly eat.... Or pistachios, or something that consumes your mind.

Not to mention, its going to take you at least a week to sell them all, even if you spent 12+ hours a day selling them. I'd estimate a month of selling. I already tried this.
A. Fire runes take forever to buy, if you check the RSOF runes section, you'll notice its full with people doing the same thing your doing because they just macro sell the runes and resell the gem for 500k profit. When you macro sell to a store, theres no randoms and the screen doesn't twitch or anything. (Cough, brother tried it, cough)
B. You'll only get 500k profit....
