  1. When they said Dwarven Warsuit, I was thinking something like this:

While it didn't live up to my expectations it's certainly not awful. I kinda like it.

Unless you like it enough to spend 40 bucks on it, they didn't do a good enough job. :P

Nevertheless, I would rather buy skyrim than the dwarven warsuit. Both cost the same, and I'd get a ton more outfits, including a dwarven warsuit if I bought skyrim.

  2. Why do Jagex always make it so difficult for me to support their actions.

Seriously though, I wouldn't care if they hadn't said they were rethinking bringing them in the first place and telling people to not stock up for one. I saw that newspost and just facepalmed, because no words can describe how idiotic and hypocritical this decision was.

  3. Also, where are all these exp boosts coming from? I keep hearing about them but not actually knowing what they are.

There are holiday-styled exp boosting rewards most times. The current one is Festival of the Dead, a mini-holiday event you can start south of Lumbridge Graveyard. Can net you up to 251k bonus prayer exp while training. It's members only though.

  4. Andufus! Long time no see. :D

On topic. I believe Jagex are partly to blame for the shift in community. A lot of focus has been created around getting experience and being "efficient". I also believe tip.it has a fairly large efficiency audience, but there are always casual gamers around. You just have to know where to look. The game is still free-roaming, but there are a lot more people who are objective-minded. The game itself pushes for you to go for goals after all. Always been like that, but there's more focus on doing it now than say in 2007. Not saying that's a bad thing. I consider myself an efficient player, but I enjoy that kind of gameplay. :P

  5. The xp from the big chinchompa minigame is a lot better now smile.gif Got 50k xp in one game, probably could've been a bit more since I was chatting and such as I went. The three highest tier moths you can access appear now, instead of them just appearing at random.

Is it worth doing now? And is it daily, weekly, anytime or?

    It's a daily.

I liked this little festival thing. Sure, it wasnt big and seemed like filler content, but I enjoy the mask I got. One of my favorite looking holiday items in a long time. :P

  6. Before the mass phat crash occours, please read:

We will also be offering a 'Choose Your Own Outfit' consumable. This item can be used on any of your favourite items to make them a cosmetic over-ride, in the same manner as the other Solomon Store items. Enter battle with a party hat or Halloween mask, when you are really wearing (and risking) a dragon full-helm, for example.

Inb4 tons of fake phats are worn all over the land. Sounds like the lending system all over again. "That isn't your phat." "Yes it is." "Show me in trade or it's fake." "*Sigh*"

Seems like a lot of content packed into October. Integrating Hair and Facial changes into Solomon's Store doesn't sound like a bad idea. Too bad the new styles will cost money. Overall I don't mind this month though. For once, Squeal of Torture isn't mention, which just automatically brightens my day. I'd rather they focus on Solomon's than SoF.

  7. Like you said, moving the max cap to 120 would increase the time to max by 8. If it already takes over a year to max (took me 3-4), that's 8 years minimum.

Current exp rates, even with all these faster exp methods you mention, don't increase it enough for 120's to be a sensible thing. 120 Dungeoneering took me 6 month's on and off because of repetitiveness and other players annoying me.

If they raise the exp-rates once you hit say 100 and exponentially increase it as you progress, I'm game. But you can't expect and shouldn't create a game model where becoming the highest level takes over 9 years.

  8. It looks like a panda costume, but it's actually a dog costume. :P

I...what. I thought the blue fur costume was the dog (or at the very least a fox.)

Well...uh, whatever I guess. Maybe it will look better in-game.

I made the same mistake. The blue one is a wolf costume.
