  1. I don't have any tips for the strategy on the boss fights but regarding your stats one major downside is that you have only 41 summoning. Having either spirit terrorbird (52) or war tortoise (68) would make both fights, p queen and Nomad, much easier as you could bring more supplies. (I'd consider tortoise as a must at Nomad) Also spirit kyatt and it's spec at 57 summoning would make Nomad a lot easier. Otherwise I don't see problem with the stats. I ranged Nomad with similiar stats (75 range and 80-something def). Pest queen is easier and you probably could melee her at your levels. So as mentioned before, 70 prayer and higher summoning is something worth investing in.

  2. I used to pay around 14$ before I realized my creditcard was eligible for internet puraches. #-o However the current 6/month is really all I'm ready to pay for this kind of casual game. Well maybe the game isn't casual but I'm playing it casually so paying more would be a waste. Maybe if some of the points raised in this thread would be implemented like better customer service I might pay maybe maximum of 10.

  3. Price cap gets removed for highly demanded items -> price of those objects rise.

So this is a rant against removing of price ceilings or against basic rule of supply and demand or what?

  4. step 1: raise membership to $10 monthly

step 2: hire some GMs to break the environments of suspected bots, whereby the GM could determine if they were bots.

step 3: the bots would then be banned.

These two. Especially bring back the bans, preferably permanent. Making botting impossible isn't obviously going to work (for now) so atleast have some actual punishments. :-s
  5. Clan wars dangerous lure: Not much you can do about this other than to just stay away from the red portal and clan chats that participate in dangerous clan wars. If it sounds too good to be true, it normally is.
Idk if this has been elaborated before but the most typical clan portal (the purple, not red) scam is you have one guy gathering a small clan, not too big. Then he makes a (friendly) war with his assistant, usually not too high level person with expensive items like rares/claws etc. The assistant then makes a complete fool out of himself and you kill him/her in seconds. Then the clan leader says that he should trick the clown and challenge him with items dropped. That's where your alarm bells should start ringing. If you check the assistants stats he usually has 94+ mage. Most people, like myself, would never step inside the portal when items dropped on death is on but I've seen some newer players walk out of that portal without their precious dmeds and longs.

Whoops, didn't notice this thread was couple weeks old.

  6. Yeah I'm also against returning the items unless they make a system where everyone hacked gets their items back. Giving items back for only a famous persons would show jagex cares more about some players than the others which would just give the company really bad reputation.

I always imagined she'd have more rares because I remember people saying she could destroy the rares market by dumping her items but actually seeing her items I don't think it would have lead to nothing more than a quick panic selling and then the merchanters would have soon brought the prices back up.

  7. Alright, I feel like I've asked this before, but how long has RuneScape 2 been out? ... Because I swear I've played since Runecraft was released and someone told me that RC came out WITH RS2 rather than as an update TO RS2.

AFAIK Runescape 2 officially came out early 2004.

    Ugh.

I really don't care about some lucky narbs getting free divines but rather dissapointed that after so many glitchy/bug-ridden updates they finally would have spent more time testing their work before publishing it. Yeah I guess you could say not even the best beta testing team will ever find every bug but this wasn't exactly small glitch and I'm surprised they were unable to find out about it until players discovered it in a matter of minutes.

  8. Small correction; speak to Hartwin in the castle. :P

And you will arrive in a instanced area of the wilderness around chaos temple. It's not pvp area and if you wander away from the temple you will get a choice to leave in which case you are taken back to Varrock castle.

    EDIT: Oh too late.

  9. Look at it from the bright side. At least there's no trade limits anymore to prevent stuff from being totally unbuyable

    Who am I kidding. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Yeah.. "Selling ranarr(unf) 40k ea" It's really funny to watch people panicking and selling all their items and desperately trying to get even some supplies and yet there is still few weeks until the weekend.
  10. Tbh I also love doing the "forgotten" stuff like burning shades (I have around 400 sacred oils to burn vyrewatchs :P) but I do see the point, they are dead. Well nothing will ever be completely dead in runescape but they are dead compared to other activities. And I do agree that jagex needs to give us alternatives and make sure the old ones won't get out of the date, not create something more efficient.

  11. we need to get rid of the thieving skill because it teaches kids that thieving is good

kids cannot tell the difference between a video game and real life and will, with 100% certainty, emulate whatever they do in video games in real life. this is caused by one sole factor: the existence of features in the game that are not acceptable in real life.

How about all the alcohol you find in the game, the game even tells kids that they become stronger when drinking a pint of beer. THINK OF THE CHILDREN! :ohnoes:
