  1. I've got a pair of Hati gloves, and I was wondering where I should use them.

I thought of armoured zombies, bursting with them at rock lobs, or regular slayer. I'm more leaning towards armoured zombies, because people have been saying that they're getting massive amounts of xp there. However, I also really want 96 magic, so that's why I thought of rock lobs.

    What are your thoughts/suggestions?

    Thanks in advance!

  2. Right where the green is, on the east side. I lure the one that I think spawns there, near the pillar, but it's another one, so I get hit a ton. That's when the one doesn't follow me and gets stuck.

Next time I go and try them again, I'll post a pic of them getting stuck. Also, I know how to prayer switch, it's just that they hit 200+ each time they switch attacks, even when I switch to the correct prayer.

  3. I have a problem. I only got 1 kill my last trip, and I don't know what I did wrong. I took the d'hide setup, and a tort full of sharks, and I still died really fast. 14 p pots, super pots, everything. I summoned my Titan, and it didn't help at all. Sure I got healed a total of 320, but I got hit for about 10 times that. What's my problem?

  4. they're all the same, except for the combat style the use (fire=mage, ice=melee, moss=melee)

Ash, ok, thanks. After I get 79 summ, should I blow all my blue charms on fire titans, or save for geysers?

  5. Hmm, thanks guys. I've actually been there ~5 times before, but only averaging 2-3 kills per trip (once I got 4!). So, I'll try using d'hide, and then maybe trying void later. Someone told me that ks was better than a whip at tds, so that's why I put that. I'll try both ways though.

I'm hoping that tds will get me cash for 96 magic, and I only have charms for 79 summ, so thats why I'll take a Titan.

Also, which Titan would be better? I heard that the ice one lasts the longest, is that true?

  6. I've decided to go to TDS to try to make some cash. My stats are in the sig below, and I'll be getting 79 summoning before trying them.

For my TDS trip, I was thinking of taking this:

    Head: Void range/melee helms

    Body: Elite Void

    Legs: Elite Void

    Boots: Dragon (Snakeskin?)

    Gloves: Barrows

    Shield: Deflector

Ring: Life (Just in case, you know tongue.gif)

Cape Slot: Ava's accumulator (soulwars cape?)

    Ammo: 1k broads

    Ammy: Glory

    Weapon: Rune c'bow/korasi's

    Inv:

4 + tort of sharks (rocktails?)

    House tab

    Darklight

    Other helm

    Other weapon

    Super attack/strength/reg range potions

    Lantern

EE (for healing spec, yes or no?)

    Titan Pouch

    Titan scrolls

    Rest prayer pots

    Sound good?

  7. Seirously, you will be so much happier if you burst rock lobs. your summoning is quite low and you will get at least 88 summoning if you burst it all.

But, I don't have the cash to get battle robes/sol, and I can't get that cash fast, sadly. If I did have the cash for battle robes, I fail at fog, and I don't get tokens that fast, so thats a no go.

I also have no experience at rock lobs, and I'll probably die almost as soon as I get there.

  8. Plank Make (on mahogany) gp/exp -1.41 * 7.145.735 = ~10.1 mil.

exp/hr for plank make maxes at 165 k/hr. which equates to ~43 hours of play time.

Other methods you could use at the cost of more money.

Hunter Kit will cost ~36 mil and save you about 5 hours. Not really worth it imo.

Both of the Following Assume a Staff of Light and Tome of Frost

Ice Burst at Ape Atoll will cost ~25 mil and will save you about 20 hours.

Ice Burst at Rock Lobsters will cost ~ 31 mil and will cost you about 20 hours of game play however you will receive a lot of crimsons for summoning.

    Good luck on your goal.

    Cheers!

note that all calculations are from Grimy's Spreadsheets. You can look at them here

    Money Making

    1. Herb farming. If you don't have the farming level you can reach ~30-35 farming from quests alone. At that point spend the little bit of money to get to 38 farming and begin farming toadflax. Each run should net ~100 k profit (more if you utilize Juju potions/scroll of life from dungeoneering) and should be done every 2 hours. Unlocking the patch from My Arm's Big Adventure is highly suggested as it is always disease free. Consult Grimy's Spreadsheets for the most profitable herbs to farm...

    2. Manage Thy Kingdom. Finish the quests to unlock this activity and consult...

    http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Calculators/Miscellania

...for where to place your workers. Minimum profit per day is ~200 k for near zero effort.

    3. Dailies. There are tons of shops which you can buy stock from and sell on the GE for profit, along with numerous other activities you can do to bring in a profit. Consult this guide for a complete list of things you have available.

    http://forums.zybez.net/topic/1421537-how-to-get-145m-profit-a-day-in-45-minutes/

or if you are a tip.it loyalist...

    http://forum.tip.it/topic/254632-daily-activities/

With all of the above you can count on minimum 1 mil per day depending on how many dailies you have unlocked and which herbs you farm etc. for about an hours worth of work a day. Stay consistent and your cash pile will grow.

Lastly in between herb farming runs do whatever you want, its a game after all. This time can be used to make additional money.

Wow. That's a lot of stuff, thanks very much! I'll get to work farming (again, I kinda left that off) and I'll get on my kingdom.

http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=lunarmagic_calc.htm Input your name, Get stats, put the target level to 96. Find string jewelry, take how many casts and multiply that by 2. That'll give you how many astrals you need, then just multiply that by the current price of an astral.

From what I've heard, TD's takes a bit of getting use to. http://forum.tip.it/topic/211163-tormented-demons-solo-and-duo-guide/ I'd follow that guide, and just practice on them.

Hmm, thanks! But, don't I need to know the price of strung/unstrung ammies in order to use that calc?

I think I'll give tds another try soon, see if I can get more than 2 kills a trip.

Not unless they changed recently. Just a few weeks ago, strung and unstrung ammies were the same price (and I was getting them right away at med).

Really? Cool beans! That makes that part easier.

    Thanks to both of you.

  10. Oops, forgot to say that I would be stringing for my levels. If I get 85 herb, would it be worth it to camp at iron drags in hopes of a visage drop?

Also, I seem to fail horribly at tds, getting a kc of around 2. Can someone suggest a good guide/set up for them?

    Thanks for the help though!

  11. Ok, so I decided that I needed to get 96 magic. However, I need 7.145.735 xp for this lofty level. Around how much will it cost stringing? And, what should I string, just gold ammies? Also, I've got 11m cash, and around 25m or so in herblore supplies that I can sell. Should I sell them, or should I go and try to make more money somehow? However, I'm kinda really bad at making money, so might take a while.

Also, what's a (kind of) good money-maker at my stats?

I was thinking either blue dragons, or abby spectres. Good? Not so good?

    Thanks in advance!

  12. 1) How much will it cost going from 82-96 mage? I'll be bursting rock lobs for ~6k crimson charms, and then I'll be stringing to 96.

    2) I'm at ~10k dung tokens, and at 56 dung. How long will it take to get a chaotic rapier (how many hours, as opposed to days, since I can only get on for ~2 hours a day)? I normally try to 5-man the floors I can on w117, but if I can't find a team, I'll solo.

    3) What should I do for 58-65 runecrafting? After I get 96 magic, I'd like to be able to make my own deaths for venge casts.

  13. My dg level is currently 63. I've been soloing lol, c1 rushing and then med c6 for the last 10 floors I can access. Is there a better way that doesn't require other people (as all my friends never seem to want to dg with me lol) or should I try with a dg world and the random groups thing?

Also, if I do f1-24, then do f27, then go back and do f25 & 26, and finally do 28-31 (or w/e my max floor is lol), would I get full xp for all of them or do they have to be in order?

There is a better way, per say, but that involves c6'ing all floors, on med. I would suggest to use the random groups thing until 80, and then put your name in the TIF dungeoneering group list thing. (I dunno where it is, that was told to me)

It doesn't matter when you do floors, it's just that you should do all the floors you previously did (last reset) before going on to new floors, to get max xp.

Ie, you just did f1-30. You reset, and then you do f1-30 again (in any order), but you gained, oh, I dunno, 3 levels. You should then do F31 and F32 in that order (31 than 32) in order to gain max xp. So, after you reset, your (previous) prestige is 30. You do f1-30 and get a current run of 30 floors, but you unlocked f31 and 32. Do them in order, to get 31 prestige for f31, and then to get 32 for f32.

(I hope that makes sense, I tried to explain as much as I could.)

  14. I'm planning on bursting some rock lobs to get ~6k crimson charms, and then stringing jewelery to 96.

Now, how much would this cost (approx)? (Both the bursting, using battle robes/sol, and the stringing)

    Thanks in advance!

  15. Ok, I've got 71 summoning at the moment, and around 2k crimson charms. No idea how many gold/green/blue I've got since I'm not on RS at the current moment, but I'd guess ~1.3k gold, ~1k green and ~300 blue.

I know that one can burst/barrage for charms, and I know that waterfiends/cockroach soldiers/dust devils are good for charms (actually, I'm not too sure about the last two, hmm. Anyone mind clarifying that for me?).

What I want to know is:

    a) What is the cost of bursting 71-79 summoning (using SOL and battle robes, obviously), and what is the cost of bursting 71-88 summoning (same equipment)? If you can, add in the costs of gear, as I'm not too sure how much all that gear costs.

    b) What is the cost of killing waterfiends for 71-79/88 summoning? Gear: Nezzy helm, Karil's top/bottom, Glory, Dragon Boots, Barrows gloves, explorers ring (3, though I might get 4, so include that in any calculations), Soul Wars cape, and zammy spear, praying range, using a bunyip. Stats: 85 attack/defense, 86 strength, and 82 magic

    c) Which would be more cost efficient? Either just getting the charms, or getting the charms and making the pouches.

    d) What should I make for these levels?

I apologize if I'm making this too complicated, and thanks in advance for any help you may give me!

  16. What would be the best way to get 65-70 hunter? I heard sallies are good, but what kind should I hunt?

I need to get 70 agility sometime, and I'm 63 at the moment.

What would be the best place to get these 7 levels?

I've tried the werewolf course, and the wilderness course, but I don't seem to be getting any good xp there.

A quick note: The Brimhaven agility arena is broken for me. It takes around 30 seconds *after* I tag the post for it to change, so I never get any tickets, as I can't get to where the new flashing post is in time. So I can't use that.

  17. I think they degrade in 10 hours.

As they degrade, they are like barrows, as in they don't lose stats when it gets to 75, 50, 25, but they do lose stats when they get to 0.

So, both barrows and FoG rewards are a "one time" degradation.
