  1. Why not just tweak it to where OVL/EXT act like their lower equivalents when the player using them is in combat with another player?

So those 125/125/125/122/106 become what, 118/118/118/112/104. Sure, they still stay boosted all the way for the five-minute period and only take up one inventory space, but it's still a fair compromise.

If the Overloading player were fighting, say, the Chaos Elemental, their stats would be normal Overload grade. If they attack another player, their stats will lower to the above. However, if they retaliate, their stats will remain Overload grade.

I feel this is very fair. This allows some players a kind of "immunity" from being attacked randomly by PKers, if JaGEx does indeed intend for the Wilderness to return to all worlds.

Some will say, "But those who enjoyed PKing prior to the changes had no choice in the matter!" Yes, this is true. But if you were to deny people the small amenity proposed above based entirely on that rationale, you are nothing but a vindictive [wagon].

Youre a smart guy you should get this idea to jagex. Great thinking bro

  2. Quite a lot of the people posting keep saying that they don't want to die when they are wandering around the wilderness doing something. It seems people don't remember one really important aspect of the old wilderness. Most of the wilderness was empty all of the time. World 6 was Varrock wild multi pking, with small teams in lower wild, and larger teams out farther. World 18 was edge pking, single combat. If you were stupid enough to try to do something in the wilderness on either of those worlds then you probably would die, and that was entirely your fault.

You go to some other world besides 6 and 18, and the wilderness was much emptier. There would always be someone in edgeville, or varrock wild, but nothing requires you to walk up to them and tell them "oh hey, im walking out to the wilderness and if i die whoever kills me will get a whip, some karils, and a dds." It is quite easy to walk along the edge of the wild out of sight before going in. Also, old wild, if you were in combat with something in single, pkers cant interrupt, and if you are in single and the person after you gets attacked, you have like a 30 second break where they can't attack you.

Besides, nothing is stopping you from becoming a 3 itemer. Killing someone with dhide top and chaps, and a dds is simply not worth it. They don't lose anything, and you take damage.

Yes, sometimes you got ambushed, but that was a rare occurrence. After a week, the number of people pking will die down. There are not enough people to fill the wild on every world and keep you from doing some clue or whatever you are trying to do after they move most of the reasons for going to the wilderness out of the wild.

Really, the only thing that will change is you will get an adrenaline rush seeing a white dot, and you will have to call "Peace" and see if they agree. Nothing really that complicated or hard to do.

Lol come on now youre SUPPOSED TO BE SCARED.. in the old days it was common for someone to x-log at even the slightest hint of another white dot on the map.. GET THOSE REFLEXES UP SON!!

  3. Hmm Rushing, Rushing, Rushing... Everyone wants to do it. Tbh i hate rushing. I stand around, cut trees, turn them into bows and alch them for money, i alch all the charms. And i stand around and not do [bleep] unless im confronted, You probably hate me lol I Mean the best possible way to train any skill is a AFK'able way.. " TO ME AT LEAST" it makes life much easier if i can afk 45%-60% of a rush i am greatly satisfied.. If the team is a little more stubborn thanks to the GG i can just afk and keep teleporting to my team,, Which is sooo ftw..

    So my order would be..

    1. AFK

    2. AFK

    3.Alch

    4.Wc

It is fascinating how people love to be <bleep>s in an online game.

If you were on my team afk'ing, you would be kicked when we find boss room. (we might need you to finish emote room )

When I'm doing a large, I do the following:

    1) make gatestone runes/cures and buy tools

    2) thieve all chests

    3) make the best possible BOB

    4) mine promethium ore + make full promethium

    5) fish when I need food and share when others need food

    6) plant a lycopus seed and harvest before boss room to make strong melee pots and share

Step 4 might make me less of a teamplayer/rusher but you get a lot less hit when wearing promethium, being tool-man most of the time those dodged hits really add up.

Lvl 85 dungeoneering but no expert.

I mean, Like my boy stated it is not in any way personal. I just want to do the least amount of work possible.. I have infact been kicked from numerous rooms for my practices and i probably deserved it everytime.. But that is how i choose to play the game to maximize the floors i can do before my Bored-O-Meter reaches 9000!

Stop with the "CLS is better than Cr only in bandos and sara" statement, I'm quite sure CLS will beat the CR in most bosses currently and the future bosses will only have higher defense giving the CLS the edge. Also to every ones "mathematical formula's and simulations"....none of them work because you don't factor in defense of monster and accuracy, of course CR will win with opponents having 0 defense that's simple logic, but what monster worth killing has 0 defense.

Zammy - K'ril has crap defense, rapier beats CLS on low defense monsters

    Mole - weak to stab

    KBD - weak to stab

Mithril dragons - Weak to stab

TDs - the higher the DPS, the better (assuming you're extremely efficient)

Kalphite queen - Weak to crush, so neither is better

    Armadyl - Can't melee

Corporal Beast - They're both not spears, so neither should be used

DKs - Supreme has low melee defense, rapier wins on low def monsters

CLS wins at bandos because he actually has defense, and is weaker to Slash anyways

CLS beats rapier at Saradomin because Zilyana has extremely high defense, so the more accuracy the better. But there you'd be better off with a Maul, or even Veracs over CLS.

It's mostly logic as to which are better. Are you waiting for someone to make a few 10 MInute YT videos to prove it?

ALL YOU NEED IS ONE HIT OVER 300 AT TD's CLS is better than RAPIER AT TD's- Hands down
