Seems improbable to me.
I can only think of doing some type of minigame that awards you with charms, but the only one I can think of is Soul Wars.
I've never played Soul Wars so I don't know whether you can gain Zeal without gaining HP exp, but it may be possible.

Probably a big debate already going on about the articles in this thread but I just wanted to inject my not so humble opinion:
Good to see your will power in taking a stand Racheya, hope ya can find something that makes ya happy whatever it is (even if it is coming back to RS :))
I liked reading the other article but do not have any real opinion on it.
Overall the articles were shorter than some in the past and I must say that this is an improvement. In fact, the Tip.It Times could do with maybe four articles at about these lengths rather than just two if people will write them.

Honestly, it would because no one plays it except when they re-open it. Also, they don't exactly make it easy to access for the people who can play it.
I got on RSC a few weeks ago on a weekend and there wasn't but 20-25 people total between all the servers.
There isn't much point in attempting to continue CPR on a dead person.
That being said, I always enjoyed classic when I played as it was what I played first; however, I found no point in playing after they wiped all the items from accounts in the move to RS2. If I was going to continue playing classic, I didn't want to have to start all over.

I dont know if Im going to be able to do this quest right now. Stats (combat) and I want to wait for bugs (game crash) to be fixed. Im still excited though.

h'ween masks seems to be doing pretty well. Santas has been rising a bit, along with easters and maybe rare edibles.
Phats are on the rise. It seems that rares are becoming more on demand. My best theory is that more people are
taking a break from Runescape (for obvious reasons) and are hoping to sell out their whole bank for rares.
The lower rares are going off like rockets. I am seeing people advertising a purchasing price of 160mil for Santas. I dont think that enough people would stop playing to cause this. What could? What is?

Use fairy ring to tele west of uzer. Run north and pick feathers. Go back to zanaris to bank.
I didnt see this idea posted and its cost is zero since it doesnt require summoning. I dont know which code goes to that ring but its pretty close.

About how many times do you have to go through the waves to get a full penance horn? Regular, not master.

If you're going to collect something from Miscellania, collect what will make you the most money. I think at the moment it is 10 Maple and 5 Coal settings.
Then use the money from those to buy herbs and ingredients for leveling Herblore.
I would just do that until the next BXPW (next March) and then go to town on training.

Completed all BXPW goals in just over 10hrs. I waited til I was done with 10hrs before getting two Summoning levels, but before that I went from 61 to 70 Hunter, 68 to 72 Agility, and of course Farming run got me a couple levels.
All in all good stuff, I had very moderate goals this weekend, and to reward myself, I bought a very cheap Fury :)
I guess the rest of the weekend I'll just do Agility at 1.1x til I get bored. Gotta be ready for RotM

Woot, just got 70 Hunter. First BXPW goal down. Next is agility til 1.1x, dunno what I'll end up with but we shall see. Break time though as fighting for Red Salamander spots was brutal.
EDIT: oh yea forgot farming run. Got 2 levels to get 72. Will be getting 73 after BXPW since I didnt have time to prep for replacement trees due to 10 hour black-out in California yesterday.

I wish short selling was possible in runescape.
Please use another term for selling your goods below the buy in price.
Short selling is where you sell goods that you do not own yet and where you make an agreement when you will deliver these goods, the price however is agreed at that time and when the time is to deliver you buy the goods for its current price and hand them over.
This is a money making setup in which you can make money when you know/predict an item is going down in value.
Short selling is mostly done on the stock market.
Thank you for pointing that out. Honestly, I thought what I described was short selling, but since its not, I don't really know what to call it.
Also, sorry about the confusion everyone, I actually did make the title to reflect an "update" style thread.

And they did. The Amulet of Fury, Dragonfire shield, and Berserker Rings were just a few examples. Godswords and other equipment fell the same. :)

Oh really? Because I obviously can't do math based on the fact that I accounted for your said "four hours making money" by saying that my suggestion is founded on a fixed income of what the OP makes by selling equipment.
It's called English. Learn It. Read It.
Not everyone's waking moment is spent playing or thinking about Runescape so to assume everyone and anyone can make up the money in those four hours applies to a certain portion of the RS community. Is the OP part of that community, maybe, I don't know. I am just providing my input on the solution asked about in this forum. OP's goal is to save money, I offer a solution that saves money.

They would sell higher if the supply did not meet the demand. The fact is for this BXPW, the amount stockpiled to sell when BXPW was announced was greater than the demand for the materials, and this may be a trend that begins to occur around BXPW now.

And anger the entire legitimate community? Most people would not continue playing a game where that is allowed because it makes what they do legitimately feel less accomplished. And yes, its just a a game with virtual benefits but studies have shown that gaining a level in a game is just as psychologically satisfying as say making a big reception in a football (American) game.
Although I agree with your point, which is why I created a thread some time ago called "How Much Would You Pay to Stop RWT/Bots?", Jagex cannot do that with Runescape. They cannot for the simple fact that they built Runescape based on the ability to enjoy a free game and a low-cost members portion that was made to sustain the costs pretty much of Jagex.
Easy to say, "it's their game, they can do what they want with it", but its more complicated than that. Based on the thread I made which was a small sample granted, but a legitimate part of the RS community here at Tip.It, most people capped their ability/desire to pay for Runescape around $15 a month. The truth is, RS is only competitive with other games in its genre because of its low cost compared to its expansive gameplay.
