  1. I thought that you can get power levelled in dung? Where you still get exp for doing nothing? If this is true, people will just start up power leveling services, like 1m exp for 15m junk trades... If this is so, i think it is a good thing. On the RPG Shaiya, and a lot of others, you can join a party and get power leveled by your party members. You literally just leave your account overnight and gain a tonne of experience.

  2. I think skill capes are good because it shows off what alot of players cant be bothered with doing, PLAYING THE GAME AND LEVELING UP!

I've played for 6 years and i have never had a 99. It doesn't mean i havn't accomplished anything. I play the game for enjoyment, not levels. I have reached a point where i am enjoying getting a 99, and i see no other logical reason for getting one.

  3. Obby cape is the best cape i can use at the moment. I don't really suck, i just never bothered with a 99, never had the desire. I tried for a firecape once, on Jad i screwed up and never bothered again. As for Soul Wars cape and Ardy Cape, i havn't been playing until a little while ago. I missed the releases and never really knew about them, not much of a fan of Soul Wars/Diaries anyway.

I've bought 99 mage and it will take me a day or two to get. Once i get myself the cape, i doubt i will use any other until my next 99/i get a firecape. With capes like fletching/cooking etc, i guess the people that have them as their only 99 may not have unlocked many other options.

For the price and look, i feel they are a good choice.

  4. More profit from basic resource gathering skills = More money = No need for excessively cheap raw goods while giving people a good way to make money. There is no up-side to botting.

Right, but high levels can make up to a 1M on average at Barrows. High levels can make 700k plus crafting nats. High levels can make 600k plus killing blue/green dragons. Raw material collection is not good moneymaking in ANY case, even if there were no bots. With a few exceptions, like Rocktails and rune mining.

It may not be comparable to other methods but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be an option. Barrows and nature rune crafting have high requirements to make them efficient, making it impossible for lower levels to make a decent amount. If there weren't bots lowering prices, the lower level players would be able to make MORE money than they do, not more than all methods.

Also, you say that high levels can make fast money, so why is it such an issue to spend a little more money on the raw materials to level up the skills you mentioned?

  5. Unfortunately, most problems in runescape are caused by bots.

It was a botter that reported you.

It was a bot that failed at checking whether you had done something or not.

It was a bot that failed at seeing that he admitted to botting.

If you appealed, it was a bot that rejected your appeal, and even though I don't know whether you appealed or not, I know it would have been rejected by the bot.

Now you see that it was not a co-incidence, that's what bots do, they damage the game.

    DOWN WITH THE BOTS!

I don't encourage botting, but bots drive the price of raw goods down, which is good for players wishing to train fletching, prayer, herblore, FM, etc.

More profit from basic resource gathering skills = More money = No need for excessively cheap raw goods while giving people a good way to make money. There is no up-side to botting.

  6. Sure let's make actual people check reports, if you want them to hire 500 more people and members to cost 10 bucks each.

500 people? Skim reading through reports could get at least 500 done per hour per person. Lower the character limit and lessen the amount of low-level offenses leading to bans. Perhaps if Jagex cared more for their users then they would have more money and would be able to reduce membership fees.

Omali, this isn't necessarily about my unfair mute, it is more about how Jagex can be so unbelievably unfair/claim to read every report.

  7. So, i got into an argument a few months ago, around December IIRC. The person who i was arguing with had been ranting about how they botted and never got banned. I started criticising him and pointing out how he shouldn't be shooting his mouth off about using some crappy program made by someone else and taking credit for doing something worthless. He then went on to say how he had made it himself, and that it was 100% human-like and undetectable. I then mentioned how bots at the time were unable to identify 3D objects, which i believe was true.

    HE REPORTED ME?

Yep, he reported me for "Encouraging Rule Breaking". I merely stated what i believed to be true. I had also reported him after he mentioned that he was botting his account.

I log back on around 2 hours afterwards and i have been temporarily muted, yet this jackoff was still in the same clan chat shooting his mouth off? What the utter [bleep]?

How is it that i am muted for NOT breaking the rules, whereas he admits to breaking a major rule and he has every right to play the game to it's fullest?

This may be a bit late to be ranting, but still... Jagex need to quit [bleep]ing about the small offenses, that i would like to point out i had never committed in the first place, and start doing something about the people that are actually ruining the game. Or alternatively, they could stop claiming that they read every appeal carefully before the come to a decision.

  8. Hi,

me and my IRL friend made new mage/range hybrids. At the moment, we do well in PVP. The only issue is that other people have teams of 5 - 10 people constantly. One of which is the Pink Afro team, they camp Falador and just pile anyone who they see.

I was wondering, what would be the best way to recruit a few people for a low level pking team? We may want to turn it into somewhat of a PKing clan eventually.

    Thanks.

If you are interested in PKing with us, we are currently level 28 and need anyone from level 25 - 35. Contact Claw Russia ingame if you want to team with us.

  9. Good guide, but a bit too expensive for me :P

Yeah, it is a little on the expensive side. But it is cheaper than bursting. I spent more time getting 84 - 94 Magic with Superheat, MTA Enchants and alching than it would take to get 71 - 99 with this method. Lets hope it helps some rich kiddes :P

What are good ways to train magic with less money to spend? I mean losing a max of about 200 - 300k a/hr.

Superheat was 60gp loss per cast when i was doing it. It was around 70k experience per hour, with the addition of smithing experience. I got 74 smithing from 55 through superheat.

Amazingly Fast Magic Experience - 175k Exp Per Hour

This guide shows you how to get 175k Magic experience per hour using a new method. I found this method by myself and i was unable to find any guide showing this method, so i see no issue with posting this and claiming it as my own method.

All averages were worked out using current GE prices and a sample of 100 casts.

Video quality will improve with time, it is still processing as i post this.

I hope this helps you all out.

  11. I assumed, since you said you had worked so darn hard, you would be at least level 138. Oh well, i guess that just nullified your argument.
It didn't, actually. Just because i'm not 138 doesn't mean I never worked hard.
Just because they are level 60 doesn't mean they never worked hard. Nice flawed logic, moron.

Cool story bro. Does level 60 take ANY hard work at all? Not really.. no.

And I'd rather you call me "Idiot", over "moron". :)

Could be maxed in all non-combat stats. Moron. Everyone puts effort into their account, clearly your hours of clicking went to your head.

  13. I ks because the level 60s are not using the spawns efficiently whereas I will. Also because I can and its fun, especially in a qc world where they really can't say anything.
You are still a worse person for doing it. They work hard for their kills, you don't. Then you come along and steal theirs anyway? You are pathetic.
I already worked hard, and passed them up, so i'll ks whenever I can.
I'm sure the clicking really took it out of you. Please, define working hard to me. I'm not quite sure my level 115 brain can handle the concept of sitting on my ass. But surely, once i grasp the concept, i will have the right to waste other people's time? Enlighten me, almighty level 138.

If you had looked me up, you would had noticed i'm not 138. Or even close to it. *gasp*
