  1. Yeah I remember the event. You like spent a week solidly on the forums 24/7 saying about how you were a zombie. :P

I was looking for possible zombie locations and jmods with DoctorWhoTV. It was actually a really good event and we had to find ways of stopping them from respawning. I think it was burying the bones but I'm not really sure.

I would happily do another event like it again. Killing and protecting JMods was awesome.

Yeah I no-lifed that thread... xD

  2. Anyone remember this event? It wasn't all that long ago... It made me start playing again for a bit. :)

Post people you remember from it, as well.

    I know I remember....

Myself (stervex) - one of the original p zombies

    SlashWraith - Fellow p zombie

    DoctorWhoTV - Human I nom'd

Lali - Human resistance leader I nom'd who had me piled a lot

    MortalSword - Human resistance guy

Mod Crow - My zombie idol <3

I think they should do something like this again... :P

  3. Thanks, though I've made that page up already from a different image. And it's not of the RSC site. :(

I pretty much have the entire 2007 site remade as well, though this isn't about that. :P

Thank you for posting though, I do appreciate it. :)

  4. As far as usability goes I would definitely recommend Wordpress. But I've also heard a lot of good things about Drupal.

I tried Drupal once, it had an interestin' look about it. SMF if basic and extremely bland and boring, but easy to use.

    Side note:

I really don't like Expression Web, or anything like it for that matter. I prefer just hand-coding websites... It almost saddens me how a lot of site coders just rely on programs like that to do half of the work for them when they know little to nothing about HTML or CSS themselves...

The sites usually turn out better from hand-coding, anyways, from my experiences.

I do my own hand coding (what bits I do have to code) but I prefer using Expression/FrontPage just because of the split screen tool.

I remember hearing Drupal at the convention, so I'll definitely check that one out as well as Wordpress.

Eh, Expression tends to have problems with certain things. I just prefer the old fashion way.

  6. Finished some SQL / PHP for the forums. It now fetches the categories, forums, threads, and posts from the SQL database and displays them using the URL system I made that resembles the current RuneScape forums. Ie. forums.php?1,2,1,1 would result in the thread shown in the picture below (Test thread). forums.php?1,2 would result in the board shown below (News & Announcements). Any errors or problems in the URL will make it show the forums home page.

  7. Finished login and logout, as well as registration.

Got bored of looking for pictures of the old forum home page, so I just whipped one up going by what I thought it might'a looked like, here it is:

If you DO happen to know what it looked like, or have a picture, I'd be happy to change it based on that.

  8. I'm just curious as to how the community here feels about RuneScape Private servers, or more importantly - a 2007 RuneScape Remake private server.

And sorry if there is already something like this somewhere, searched, didn't find anything.

  9. Started on the register page. Have NO idea what the old one looked like, so I just went with whatever. If anyone has any pictures or know what it looked like I'd be more than happy to change it though. ^.^

    EDIT:

Just did the PHP and SQL for registration, along with a tad of JavaScript for the "Check Availability", though that was already done in the picture. Registration now works perfectly. :)

  10. I think you can see the old jagex.com site on the internet archives. www.archive.org

I know, and you can see some pages, well mostly the same page, from the RSC site itself if you look up "[LikelyScam]" :)

I was just lookin' for some forum pictures and stuff mostly.
