Suomi is rank 47 Hunter if you include the inactive players with 200M, and rank 36 on the official hiscores if you exclude the bots.

Well, in his post he claims he got 57 kills, so going off your 8k xp per kill that would be over 450k xp, however that just begs the question if he really got 57 kills in one hour with range or if it wasn't just some insane streak of luck

How long does it take for a hunter bot to get 200M?
It varies a lot, but I would have to say usually somewhere in the vicinity of 5-10 months. There have been instances of some 200M Hunter bots being completely stat wiped and a month later they're already at 40M xp again.

Wow, holy shit. If this were two years ago I could easily narrow down your RSN from your Hunter xp, but not anymore as I would probably have to navigate through hundreds if not thousands of pages due to (you guessed it) all of the Hunter bots. And that really sucks getting hacked for ~400M worth of spikes. I did 45M xp on Red Chins before Summoning was released and only made roughly 120M gp or so from it but I can definitely sympathize with you on that as that's how I made my gp back in the day as well and it would feel terrible to have that all swept away. :/

For starters, I've kept my eye on the Hunt scores ever since the skill came out six years ago (it was my first 99). I pretty much know who everyone is that's on it.
I stated a while back on this thread (page 665 to be exact) that you can tell that they're all bots because they all have only Hunter ranked and have little to no quests done. Some of them also have similar names, like a four letter word followed by a four digit number. Some of them just blatantly have something along the lines of jgjklkl (that's an actual bot with 200M lol). It gets pretty obvious if you start looking all these people up and notice how it's almost as if the person making these accounts just ran their fingers along their keyboard until a valid account name came up.
If you wanna check them all out yourself, I recommend using this in lieu of the official RS hiscores as it's a lot less verbose and easier to navigate.

I'm friends with Paperbag and Elias, Bear was a known high level player back in the day, Carcass is known from for 5b xp goal, and I recently found out who Tiistai was from browsing through the pre keybag DG records list. (That being said, a lot of good DGers botted 2496 on their accounts lol) I think he's in Jebrim's clan or something though (I just checked his a-log once) so I'm sure he's legit.
Only a select few people can deal with the skill, it's probably one of the most hated as it's hard to find worlds to train it at and a lot of people just hate its constant clicking and repetition. The only way in hell that Hunter out of all skills in its current state would be the skill with the 3rd most amount of people at 200M (after Cooking and DG, I believe) is if it was completely infested with bots. That being said, I enjoyed getting 200M and it had nostalgic value to me as it was my first 99. Very few other people would legitimately enjoy doing it and that's why there are so few actual players with 200M. Hell, almost all of my maxed friends can barely even get 20M xp without ragequitting the skill.
So yeah basically I can 'tell' because I've dealt with this scenario before, know what your average bot name looks like, how their Hunter xp relates to any of their other RS achievements, been a hiscore junkie for a really long time, and know of mostly everyone entering the playing field, so to speak. Also, if there is monetary value to be obtained (red chins, not as much anymore though) and no rules are even remotely enforced against people who chose to do it, there will be chronic abuse of such activities which is exactly what you see here.

Lan is dunging now, picking up the pace. He was banned or something years ago, anyone know what actually happened? If He botted should he be even counted as a contender?
He didn't bot, the whole thing was actually an accident and he was unbanned later. He's also has by far the highest total xp for any Jmod, although my buddy Mod Reach has a higher total level.

Huh? 242 people have 200M hunter experience? How is that possible? I swear, I remember only like a month and a half ago people were talking about if SUOMI finishes getting hunter really quick he could still sneak into the top 100. So like, 150 people have gotten 200M hunter experience since then?
Hi Dustin! Long time lol, and yeah those are all bots - for the most part at least. The legit Hunters starting from Paperbag (rank 30) are Poonageguy/Bear (rank 32), Carcass (rank 189 lol), Elias (rank 226) and Tiistai (rank 230). The next legit 200M hunter will probably be Desupty.

Actually, Jebrim tipped off some info a few days ago about Drumgun. He is going for 200M all now, however a more accurate description of his goal would be to get the most A-Log days out of anyone in RS and land somewhere in the 2k-3k days played range. This way, using sub-optimal training methods aren't really that much of a problem for him.

Is there a reason why hasn't Drumgun gotten 200m Woodcutting yet?
Maybe he plans to finish it off with Firemaking at Jadinko Lair? Or maybe he doesn't want to block off another effigy combo? He's probably done with combat but you never really know with him.
Speaking of Drumgun, looks like he has a really good chance of taking the monthy cons record, he already has the daily/weekly. If he finishes within a month, the record will be ~184m.

not sure if that would work for me because I don't have people by my side like Suomi has Jebrim etc etc, + it would ruin my reputation of earning everything myself (no merch etc), which doesn't seem valuable at all though (seeing as someone assumed all top players get help from others a few pages ago for example). If people would be willing to aid my goal of getting the top half skills all to 200m, I would see that as a truly amazing act of kindnessFrom that post, he doesn't like the idea of donations but he seems more than willing to take them. Suomi was under the same mindset really, (aside from having a 'reputation' of earning everything himself) he just asked for them a lot more as not taking them would deter his 'perfectionist' mindset and on top of that had more account-value credentials than Drumgun had, and as such was able to acquire more donations.
Anyway, it seems this thread has a purpose now, as up until now the original inquiry of this thread was pretty much answered. Hopefully things might get interesting around here again?

To clarify I asked Gemeos for a loan back in the summer when ranks were 1.4B and before events such as the hiscore nerf, marketing schemes like RaF, and certain player roll-backs (taking Bu11s dg rank, not banning players like Bwizzel or Ionutromania, etc) ruined the drive to grind thousands of hours for a perm 200M stat rank.
That being said, I still slightly have that desire to complete the game (something I explain in this post I made back in August after the Jiblix/Bu11 incidents, RaF, etc: http://forum.tip.it/topic/244419-200m-in-all-skills/page__st__11360__p__5001519#entry5001519) but I play RuneScape at my own pace and judging by the direction this game is going I would never be able to get 200M everything before this game shuts down. As stated in that post, 200M all was more of a dream goal/personal challenge rather than an attempt to get e-famous by spamming that it was my goal on tons of fansites or making rsof threads about it and trying to get as much attention as possible. Im only stating it now because Gemeos mentioned it and it has to be addressed. I have since then shifted my focus towards obtaining the Trimmed Completionist Cape because it is the closest single entity that encompass a definitive set of requirements to complete the game aside from 200M everything. I am also doing some Hunter on the side because it was my first 99 back in 2007 and I legitimately enjoy the skill. If I reach both of these goals and still have the desire to play the game, then I will continue with other goals and keep playing with the mindset of 200M everything because of the simple fact that that mindset gives me a basis for an efficient playstyle and that is how I desire to play the game. So if this game is still up and running in 20 years (L as if) then who knows, but I dont ever expect to get it and wont be relaying this message anywhere else except for this thread, which brings me to my next point
This thread. As I explained in this post (http://forum.tip.it/topic/244419-200m-in-all-skills/page__st__15500__p__5112503#entry5112503) about a month ago, the main inquiry of this thread has already been answered. Langer dropped the ball a couple months ago and I picked it up and started to carry the thread in his place for a while, but now that other people are available and willing to carry it with the updates, I see no point (for me personally) in posting here anymore. In addition, the endless arguments (which have been increasing recently) have become just a pain to read and the mods remove posts and scramble the topic every other day (and I guess I partially am to blame because of my slight outburst earlier today, and I apologize for that) so Ive pretty much lost all interest and I dont think youll see that many posts from me in 2012.
Lastly, I would like to thank all of the friends Ive made and people Ive gotten to known over the past 15 months because of this thread. You guys are amazing, I mean hell I never even imagined someone like me having my own active friends chat before I even achieved anything meaningful or unique on this game. Anyways, thats probably enough rambling for now. Happy New Year everyone and good luck with your goals in 2012 :)
