...have no idea what you are doing because they explain it. You will follow each lab up with a bit of coursework (each lab coursework counts to like 25% of the coursework mark (33% of grade) or something.) Work load is fairly easy. But it can pile-up if you get tardy. My personal advice is to do the SPFs as soon as possible. You will be given like a month to do them and that month will vanish.

Tutorials are the easiest. The knowledge in the lectures I'd gauge at a slightly higher sophistication than what you learn at a levels. I struggled with Microbiology and the biochemistry of macromolecules modules (because one is boring and the other one is actually quite difficult). Some people argue that the organic module is the hardest - but it is quite easy to get mark in and the lecturer basically tells you the answers to tests :P. I lived in Rayleigh Tower - which was pretty fun. The maths component isn't too demanding - you go into calculus but it isn't too bad if you can grasp that and have 1-2 online math tests that you have to do within an hour. It isn't really worth pre-studying stats as you are encouraged to use SPSS (the lectures will explain it). Warning: The lecturer who does the stats and the last 2/3rds of the biochemistry lectures has a voice of silk and will put you to sleep in moments.
