It's not a muslim ban. It's 120 day bar on refugees to improve vetting and a 90 day bar from entry to the US with exeptions. After the 120 days we're going to have a cap of 50,000 refugees per year, which is about average over both Obama's and Bush's presidencies.

The biggest issue is that current visa and green card holders are also blocked. He should not have done that.

I'm disappoint in myself for getting hyped over the game and disappointed in Nintendo for not holding Niantic to the standard of quality that damn near every other Pokemon game has. They had 20 years worth of well established, ready to use content to work with and they used almost none of it.

After a few hours of being in queue I logged in only to join right as the server reset. Thankfully I managed to get in without a queue almost immediately with an almost empty server for like 5 minutes. I was able to get up to level 5 before I got tired of fighting people over spawns. Its basically a private server for vanilla WoW a lot like 2006scape server caused Jagex to do 07scape.

I'm super excited for Rogue One. It's great to be able to experience the new EU as from the beginning as new content comes out. A lot more people will be able to participate in in-depth Star Wars discussion now that they aren't 10 years too late to jump into an established EU.

Remember in 2008 when Obama was elected and Republics were calling Obama the anti-Christ and that he was coming to strip America of their 2nd amendment rights? Remember how literally none of the crazy stuff people said was going to happen because of Obama never happened?

I feel like this election is the same exact thing just on the other foot. Rarely anything in life will be as bad as you think it will be, and a Trump presidency will be no different.

I've always thought it was silly that riding bicycles on sidewalks is illegal. Without bike lanes, riding on the road is more dangerous for cyclists than riding on the sidewalk is for pedestrians

I moved into my new apartment on Friday, but I only took down a uhaul, and my parents were supposed to bring me my car on Saturday on their way to a wedding. They didn't leave early enough to drop off the car before the wedding, so now it's been 2 days without any god damn food or shampoo and I'm so upset, I just want my car.
Do you have Uber or Lyft in your area? Make use of that. My stupid city went and kicked out all the ridesharing stuff because they don't follow the same regulations as taxis...
Yeah, a couple cities nearby have been similarly idiotic. Really unfortunate.

Uber and Lyft are just as much at fault in my opinion. They know how impactful their services are for reducing drunk driving and helping people get around on short notice, but they just up and abandoned the city instead of trying to conpromise or anything.

Got a response from the police department. Basically just an email saying my application was receieved and that testing begins sometime between November and April and that the academy will likely start this summer.

Also I'm buying a motorcycle next week.
