Guide: http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?page=beer_guide.htm
Item database: http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2item_id=8503
The guide says Cider has a +2 Farming bonus (+3 if mature).
The item database says +1.
I bought one, drank it and got +1. The guide's info is incorrect.

To do a perfect herb run, you'll need:
Trollheim tele + My Arm's patch
Ectophial or Slayer ring + dramen staff (fast access to fairy ring: ALQ)
Catherby tele
Explorer ring cabbage-port
Ardougne cape: Ardougne Farm tele (use Combat bracelet to Ranger guild if you don't have cape)
Magic Secateurs (Fairy Tale P1)
Super energies, if you can't run that long
Herb seeds + supercompost (obviously)
-
Here's what I would do:
Helm of Neitiznot
Fury
Karil's Top
Kari'ls Skirt
Dragon Boots
Barrows Gloves
Soul Wars cape
Rune c'bow
Unholy Book
500 Diamond (e) bolts + 500 Ruby (e)
Archer ring
Invo:
Darklight
Bandos godsword
Enhanced Excalibur
1 Fire Titan pouches
Titan's Con. Scrolls
Super Attack
Super Strength
Range Potion
Saradomin Brew + Super restore (acts as super def)
Sapphire lantern (you'll need this)
Teleport to house/Lumby
Prayer potions, Sharks and/or Brews + Super restores in rest of inventory and summoned Tortoise (You'll need to do runs and try to improve inventory over time; just go with your best guess at first). IMO, Hally is a waste. You'll get used to switching prayers and the extra power of a Bandos godsword really speeds things up. Also, use the rubies in the first half of the demon, end him with diamonds.

Most important thing when fighting Nomad: heal behind pillars.
check my guide: http://forum.tip.it/topic/256003-nomad-made-easy/

- All quests: For all the extra rewards and the exp. Just put your quest list on filter and start with the first one you can do.
- Do penguins every week: free exp without training (put in prayer, herblore, summoning or another hard to train skill)
- If you really want high levels in all your skills, start with the ones that will help the others later on. (e.g. get high Agility before training Runecrafting)
-
Any exp rates on reds or pengs?

I'm actually in between both articles: I hate quests, but have a quest cape. Basically, I just do them as soon as possible to be done with them and get the rewards.
I disagree about having more low level quests, because low requirements = low rewards. Look at the best quest rewards out there: soul wars respawn, fairy rings without dramen staff and house portal tabs to name a few recent ones. You don't get these from a quest with a level 20 mining requirement.
To me, quests will always be a grind, but I'm a reward junkie: I want to complete everything to get to the good part. So when Jagex releases a high level quest, sure it'll be harder, but at least it will be worth my while.

What's the best way at 71 Hunter?
-
You missed that shadow silk hood > prom plate, but other than that, yeah.
What? Why is it better?
-
This is how I chose my weapon:
I can bind 2 items at 60 Dungeoneering and I want 1 weapon and 1 prom pl8.
For the weapon I can choose between: rapier, warhammer, longsword, battleaxe, spear, 2h and maul.
2Handed weapons are stronger and I don't intend to use the Tank class, so I drop the 1handed weapons.
I'm left with: spear, 2h or maul
Spear attack styles: controlled stab, controlled slash, controlled crush and defensive stab
2H attack styles: accurate slash, aggressive slash, aggressive crush, defensive slash
Maul attack styles: accurate crush, aggressive crush, defensive crush
Spear is no good, since it can't use the ring classes (Berserker needs aggressive, even though the in-game info doesn't tell you).
Maul is no good, because it only uses crush, which some monsters (mages, rangers, guard dogs etc) are strong against.
This leaves me with 2H.
Is there anything I missed?

Ok sweet. I think I'm gonna go for Berserker and Artisan, since I use spear and make money using airs runes.
-
If I pay for berserker, can I switch the boost to Artisan, without paying?
-
1) Is it permanent? Or does it last 1 dungeon/ until you reset?
2) Is it worth it? (I mostly melee with prom spear p++)
-
I found it unnecessary to dismiss a familiar in the middle of the run, so I put the part with Entrana first, so you can wait to start your Farming run until your familiars timer runs out.
-
Completely reworked the guide. I found that it was getting too complex, so I just wrote down the route I do and listed all the requirements and how to work around them.
This is just the text though, I haven't done the lay-out yet (obviously).
If you see any typos, please post them.
EDIT: Lay-out should be ok now. Maybe I'll change it some more later, but I'm going to sleep now.

I beat him!
For those interested, I had waaaay too many super restores I used maybe 7 or so. Also I brought magic potions instead of ranged potions lol!
-
So, my set up is good?
-
1-35: Gnome
35-40: Barbarian
40-52: Brimhaven
52-70: Wildy
70-85: Ape atoll
85-90: Adv Gnome
90-99: Adv Barbarian
Just get the tickets; it's only 100 of em.

In Dungeoneering, having all attack styles is very important (stab, slash and crush). Spear has all 3 and it can be poisoned. Therefore IMO: primal maul < promethium spear p++
Some people might prefer maul or 2h for the exp they get, because spear either trains all 3 skills or just defense, but this at the expense of speed.

I only need brews for emergencies and Jad; for the rest I use Guthans + excalibur. 2 brews give me 8 doses = 1600 lp (or 160 old hp). I doubt Jad will hit me for that much, since I've done this before.
Guthans and Excalibur are reliable if you know a few tricks. For example: if you trap 180, you can run out and hit him with guthans before he can hit back. 180s can heal and they often do. Meaning that in the end (when I will need healing the most), I'll have a reliable healing method after every wave. And if not, I'll just use my free rechargeable shark. And if that's used up too, I'll just block em around a rock and rest. And if all else fails, I can use a single dose of brew and then resort to the aforementioned methods.

Get the best spear p++ you can use.
"Dung Smith" is still going; go check for a smither there.

There's a sticky to find teams on the RSOF.
Maybe try to find a cc for setting up teams?
-
I'm sure I want to use guthans and D Hally. Should i just hally the 360s and jad (only bring cbow to attract healers)?
-
I got me a 280 Thzaar task *wink*. Meaning I'll hopefully have a second firecape soon. I need some help with the gear though.
My idea so far:
Guthans + Enhanced Excalibur for healing.
Full slayer helm + whip + defender + soul wars cape + barrow gloves for 22s, 45s and 90s.
D hally for 180s (I'm very good at trapping).
Karils top and bottom + ranger boots + archer ring + rune cbow with broad bolts for Jad and 360s.
20 spots for pots (only for 360s and Jad): 2 sara brews + 2 ranger pots + 16 super restores
I'm planning on using curses, since only magic and ranged protect are needed and some deflect damage is always welcome. My prayer level is 82.
I'd appreciate any suggestions, but please stay on topic.
EDIT:
I got me a 25k slayer exp bonus =).
Tip for those that have problem with prayer switching:
Keep repeating "Magic" or "Ranged" really fast depending on what prayer you're using; prevents switching to the other prayer when you didn't have to.

Somehow, I can't check the Fire beacon item boxes (gloves and ring). It just shows a white square and is not clickable.
