I see it more like a big game of chicken: about 50 cars riding towards each other and turning away at the last moment. The longer you stay, the higher the thrill.
When is it safe to start turning away, to be sure not to hit anyone? 50% of dump price?
I was kinda hoping for several examples (thanks for the berserker necklace though - they reached 3.8m btw); they can't all have ended like this... Also I got other tricks up my sleeve if I realize I'm too late.
I'm guessing it also matters how successful the clan is. Anyone know the most successful clans out there?
-
Yeah, that was my guess too. But, in general, do the items reach the dump price?
-
I know that these clans are rigged big time by the leaders who buy first, announce the item, sell too early and have the members get stuck with the items.
I'm trying to take advantage of the people who stay with it to the end, but I want to know if these items actually reach the set price (dump price) or if everyone sells early.
Anyone have any experience with this?
If they tell you to dump Granite Mauls (180k in max now) at 400k, what is a good price to be sure everything sells immediately?

You could leave your account on with a forager familiar while yo play Xbox, just move your mouse every 4 minutes for free money. Combines well with a Farming amulet.

It's unfortunate, but I think the best way to solve this problem is by throwing money at it.
The 0 days thing is probably a bug of some sorts, maybe caused by it having negative credit and then locking and unlocking ...
Problem is Jagex really sucks at communicating. I doubt they even have phones.

I'm not dismissing the suggestion, though it might just cause another world 111 glitch. :wall:
R.I.P Durial
The update would only involve specific worlds. The same could be said when Pvp worlds were introduced.
Also, the Falador Massacre was caused by a Construction update: if you update something, you are going to test to find bugs you can kinda predict, therefore it's less likely that something like that happens again because of a PvP update. At the launch of Construction, they had enough bugs to worry about and missed the bug that was caused by only a small part of the update. I don't think Jagex would want to let the same bug through twice.

I can see that it's well though out(or copied), but I see many issues in this. First of all, the community rejection. Many players who are already sick of the constant pkin changes will suddenly get introduced to a new and complicated system. The RS forums would be spammed with rants all with the same title, 0MGZ WTF 1S WID |>V|>??!?!? Like last time, many players would quit. Second, the altered GE would cause the prices of major items to crash, then suddenly skyrocket because of the uncertainty in the new system. Third, the pk points would add to the confusion along with the not being able to be bank items. My last point being, it isn't RWT proof. This suggestion well thought out, but it's too complicated for most players to understand.
Also, I can see this creating numerous amounts of glitches/bugs :ohnoes:
People quitting - I doubt they'll quit if you tell them they can get full drops again. Half the posts on Pvp Suggestions forum are about this...
GE changes - Sure, the normal RS economy would be altered because of the PK removal, but it'll survive. Remember the period between WIldy removal and first BH and the period between removal of 1st BH and PvP worlds? The economy had to cope with the removal of wild before, so I don't think that would pose a problem.
Pk Points - Yeah, I thought it over again and people would just sell their Pk Points instead of their cash... RWting is the selling of something permanent ingame for real money. So even if banks would be reset every so often, people would sell Pk Points.
Bugs - There are always bugs, you can't dismiss a suggestion based on that.
I'm going to have to review the Pk Points thingy, but not now; my exams start January 4th ...

Have you tried just downloading the latest version from the site: Swiftkit.net?
It used to not work for me too (can't remember the exact problem), but now it works fine...
-
Ok, well then your Java is working correctly and your problem is most likely due to Firefox settings. Try to see if Jagex has any FAQ regarding Firefox and any needed settings.
As a last resort, you could uninstall and reinstall Firefox.
If that still doesn't work, I recommend switching to using the Runescape client or SwiftKit from now on.

I find it hard to believe a revenant is camping at clue scroll location...
- if it's single combat: ask a friend to go in first and distract while you get reward.
- If it's multicombat: bring a Spirit wolf and a few scrolls to scare it away.
-
Have you try the official Runescape client?

Well, I guess that makes them unbankable (I kinda assumed the previous posters were sure about what they were saying).
You're going to have to keep them in your inventory, which isn't a big problem if you're powermining granite. Just make sure to bring a Terrorbird pouch in case you need the extra space.
Also, if you have finished all the achievement diaries, you can get lamps from there too.

 Good luck on the Mining and gratz for all the skills you're about to get.
-
If you hunt for penguins, you could use the lunar spell to contact larry/chuck from a distance and level 2 skills at once (Magic/ the one you out exp into). It will spend all the points on that other skill though; you can't spread them out.
I see you have a lot of Mining ahead of you. Just save up and bank the random rewards you get. That should do it.

could you show a vid or pic of that safespot?
-
OK, so on one side we got crumble undead ankous, which drop death runes pretty often I think, but have annoying safespots (you have to make them unagressive, which means waiting 20 minutes behind a door).
On the other side, we got lessers near Elvarg: an ocassional rune med drop, easy safespots, but no crumble undead ...
Does anyone have other alternatives?
-
Are ankous undead?
-
I think the lesser demons on Crandor/Karamja are more interesting: you can pick up drops and there are more of them.
I'm concerned that they might have good magic def though...
So far, bolting lesser near Elvarg seems best.

Anyone know if any guides to f2p mage training (not HA or curse etc)?
-
Hm, well Skeletons over Varrock Sewer worked pretty well for me... Or, if you have some cash, crumble undead is even better.
Yeah I don't mind spending a bit extra for extra speed. So, what undead monster and what are their drops?
-
-
FOG is what I used so far. Sure, it's free and gives tokens, but it's pretty slow...
SO, what monsters has low mage defense and acceptable drops? Don't worry about safespots: I can safespot almost everywhere!

I want to get the most efficient way to train magic and hp in f2p (= taken into account both time and cost).
I have 60+ mining; so you could aprox how much time is worth to me.
My stats now:
Magic: 42
HP: 54
def: 49
pray: 1
So, where and with what spell should i train. It doesn't necessarily need to make me money...

I'll be on break from Jan 29 to Feb 7. I'm going for 91 Rc during that week and if I got time left, I'll finally update the guide.
So, if you have any questions or suggestions about the guide, let's have 'em.
