     You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'by='gjkgjfd'' at line 2

     

     

    I really have no idea what the problem is. A form with a textarea and a text box submit to this page and it's the only code on the page, yet it's giving me this error. It's staring me right in the face but I just can't see it. Any help will be much appreciated.

    Hey guys, I'm coming to the end of my Game Development course and for my Final Major Project (FMP) I have to create a small teaser trailer for a game. The entire game has to be my own ideas and everything has to be my own work. For my pre production phase of the project I am required to get several different types of research from different sources...and this is where I am hoping that you guys come in. I have created a few questions which I am hoping a few of you could answer to help me on my way. There isn't a million questions and you would be really helping me out.

    Agility Training

    You really should just do the highest you can do, Keep grinding away until you can do wildy. You'll fail some obstacles but the xp/ph will still be higher. The agility arena is xp isn't too bad, I mainly use it to just break the tediousness (real word?) of agility courses.

    Quests...hate them

    I really enjoyed doing quests, I have a quest cape sitting in my bank but Nomad is standing in my way. I have never really followed any of the story lines with any great depth but I just enjoy having having instructions in a game which in RuneScape is not easy to get. If your really not enjoying them, Tip it probably has the best guides around for every quest.

    So I login and I plan to carry on from where I left off last time - getting 99 fishing. I'm not too far off, level 96. So I login, and whats that - Level 94?!?! Hmm, okay maybe i dreamt I got them levels; So i check the hiscore...Level 94. So then I check adventurers log...and look what I find.

    Thanks for your reply. I'll be sure to try that but i'm not at home at the moment so I won't be able to try that just yet. I can see myself forking out for a new graphics card (it's been needing an upgrade for a while) so I guess this is fate telling me to get a move on. :)

    Okay, my computer was turned off as normal. When I booted it up, it shows the manufacturer screen at the beginning, the windows vista loading window, and then doesn't show anything else. The screen messes up and the picture looks like a magnet has been held next to the monitor (although this hasn't been done).

     

     

     

    I've tried another monitor and that doesn't work and the fact that it shows the manufactrer screen and loading windows makes me think it's something with the actual computer, possibly the graphics card.

     

     

     

    If I have to i'll buy a new graphics card, but is that the problem?

    Recession hitting Jagex?

    America's economy isn't affecting a worldwide MMORPG based out of England. I'm sick of the "in this economy" schtik from people now. It's all over advertising and television. Every time something turns down it's blame the economy.

     

     

     

    I totally don't understand what your trying to say? It sounds as if your saying that America is the only country that is having economic problems. If that's what your saying, you couldn't be more wrong. MMORPG based out of England? Jagex is based in Cambridge, England.

     

     

     

    Also, nobody is blaming anything on the economy. It's a discussion about how Jagex are coping.

    They're making a name changing system? I know a million friends who would love to know about that, can I have a link?

     

     

     

    I don't have a link, they announced it a while back and I seen on the Jagex Twitter page that they are still working on it. Wouldn't expect it any time soon though.

    You may have to load the security key onto all of the computers you play with, it is a simple USB stick so you would have no reason not to.

     

     

     

    It's not a USB stick. It doesn't connect to the computer in anyway. It's simply a small device with an screen which generates a number.

    I'm currently 29 runecrafting and looking to get 44. I currently have 2 choices. Fire runes using ring of duellings OR ZMI Altar. Which would be fastest?

    Recession hitting Jagex?

    We all know that it's a tough time finically for most companies. However, it struck me with the talk of this Anti Hijack system that Jagex must be getting bit. Admittedly, Jagex has said they won't be profiting from this, not directly at least. Andrew said that most people quit after being hacked, and when someone quits, thats 1 less membership they'll be getting (assuming they were members). With this Anti Hijack system, it would make hacking / password scamming almost impossible (unless the user was INCREDIBLY careless) which means less people quitting as a direct result of being hacked.

     

     

     

    Also, Jagex have said they'll be introducing a name changing system. Personally, I think Jagex will charge for this to stop people changing there name all the time.

     

     

     

    It's a tough time for any company in the current economic climate, but it seems that Jagex are doing everything they can. What are your views on this?

    Problem creating a partition.

    Hey guys.

     

     

     

    I'm currently trying to create a partition of my hard drive so that I am able to install a second OS. However, when I try and shrink my hard drive, it only lets me create a new partition with 23MB of space. I have over 100GB free on my hard drive, so I cannot understand why it wont let me use this space for a new partition. I am using Windows Vista 32-bit.

     

     

     

    Also, I have ran the 'Disk Defragmenter' and it made no difference.
