  1. I've just been meandering about doing a bit of this and that, got about 100 quest points and ~700 total level, but I've finally set myself a goal being able to run barrows within the next week or so. So now I'm going to be powering towards

    43 prayer

    50 magic

    55 slayer

    38 herblore

    40 fishing - done

    40 cooking - done

50 (or as high as I can be bothered with) for all other combat stats, including ranged.

So I'm tackling slayer now. I can't be bothered to make my own runes, so I'm just levelling atk str and def while I get enough cash to bankroll my way up to 50 magic.

  2. hey is it okay to like some things that have lolicon/shotacon in them?

i was just wondering beccause some off the stuff ain't that bad. i mean take a look at full metal panic it ain't bad but it is listed as lolicon so is it realy that bad.

Full metal Panic is definitely not lolicon.

  3. Sorry for double post but

I've gotten 60% through level 77 today purely doing battlegrounds. In a bit over 2 hours /played so far. Who says battlegrounds aren't good XP? :P

    They weren't.

Except for back before they nerfed AV exp, and you could do 70-80 in about 2 days, at 150k exp per bg.

  4. I bought this when it came out, it is an absolutely amazing game.

I lent the disc to somebody and never got it back, and so couldn't play anymore when I got a new computer.

  5. Today I spent 4 hours killing Raptors for deviate hatchings in WC on my 41 shammy. Got four and sold three for 450 gold ea and the last for 380. WHen you do a realm transfer, does your items come with you? I know you can only keep a certain amount of gold, but I would like to take some important items with me when I transfer to friends server.

I swapped my 75 mage (now 80 obviously) from Thunderlord to Kil'Jaeden (yes, the famous PvP server) and kept everything and all my gold.

the certain amount of gold is fairly high

    - Level 10-30: 300 gold limit

    - Level 31-50: 1000 gold limit

    - Level 51-69: 5000 gold limit

    - Level 70 - 80: 20000 gold limit

or was... 20k isn't that much anymore, I imagine they'll change it

  6. I know a guy who does that course at that uni.

    Steve, it goes like this;

In the UK, Our compulsory education (High school) ends at age 16. We leave with qualifications called GCSEs. (General secondary ceritificate of eduction.) After this, most people choose to go on for another two years at a Sixth form college to study A levels. People usually do 3-4 A levels across the 2 Years.

In England and Wales, not the UK as a whole. Scotland and Northern Ireland both have systems of their own.

you're right, of course. Changed my original post :P

  7. Checked UCAS today... "The current status of your Application is: Congratulations! Your place at The University of Salford (S03) to study Computer Science (G400) has been confirmed."

Providing that's right, I just gotta get my results now! Going down in 20 mins. I'm actually kinda nervous really. If I don't get into University, I'm going to spend my life in a crappy job and living in council houses for the rest of my life

At the start of your second year of Sixth form, You have to apply to up to 5 univerisites / courses. The universities can then either reject your application, or give you an unconditional or conditional offer. Unconditional means that you're in, regardless of how you do in your exams, conditional offers rest on your A level results. (Today is results day.)

From your (up to) 5 offers, you then have to choose a Firm choice and an insurance choice. If you fail to meet the grades for your Firm choice, you can then go to your insurance.

If you fail to meet the criteria for either of your choices, you can enter something called clearing, where all the universities put up a list of open spaces on their courses, and you can re-apply for one of these. This year, these have been in very short supply.

Pretty much all of this process is done through a central online system called UCAS TRACK. You do all of your applications through this one system, not seperately to each school. It also integrates with the student loans system, and sorts the vast majority of the paperwork and details out for you, which is especially helpful if things don't go as planned.
