  1. It was so tragic. My sisters and I love playing video games together! I taught my three younger sisters how to play Runescape back in 2005. We still played off and on. When we found out about Old School Runescape last month, we decided to give it a go too. We got really good. We'd train skills together, quest together, and gather resources together. However, this morning my sisters couldn't login... Banned for Macroing Major!? My account was fine. We did everything together. If they really assumed we were bots, why was I spared? I was training with them! In fact, I played more than they did, much more! I trained range and magic! I smithed all the ores, fletched all the logs, made all the runes, and cooked all the lobsters! We never botted! We've never even used Autotypers vending! We'd use Zybez or the GE!
  2. So I was working on the quest The Death of Chivalry, and as I was fighting Dawn at the end, I noticed my hot keys in my action bar where all of the spells and whatnot are, just stopped working. When I click the number that the power is associated with, it doesn't light up and it doesn't activate. I kept trying to fix it while in the fight and it just wasn't working. I can still click it to "activate" the spell/power, but that takes longer and it's hard to do when you're trying to dodge Dawn's attacks and the skeletons that come along at random points. I'm not going to be able to defeat this final boss without the help of the hot keys in the action bar, and I've tried looking this problem up and there isn't a lot of it, and the little advice I receive, I've already tried and I still can't use my numbers for the hot keys. I would really, really appreciate some help.
  3. My new video Looking for people to upload videos everyday. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KgiC-3tSoRk&list=UU3vOEEjVL3xa0ey6ATOrZ5Q
  4. Barrows- Rise of the Six (rots) Guide by: Hc Joker ***********!!!!Special Thanks to Vnnami for editing!!!!****** Reviewed by: Hippy Hermit, Codenamefish, Coachc, Hc Titian, Hc Hipagref Pictures From Gallery: Rise of the Six Guide (ROTS) https://sites.google.com/site/hcjokerrot6guide/ROT6-HCJoker -Speed kills: on average 2-5min -Teamspeak/Skype is not required to do well (it does help though) -Requires 4 people to start -Eoc must be used -You cannot tele out of an instance. The only way to get out is to lobby when you’re not being attacked. This is indicated by your adrenaline lowering while no abilities are being used. Table of contents on next page Table of Contents Level Requirements: 3 Prayers to Use: 3 Gear Requirements: 3 Inventory Setup: 4 Ability Bar (range): 4 Ability bar (mage): 5 Instances and Banking: 5-6 Map orientation: 6 Shadow Realm: 7 Barrow Brothers Breakdown (with pictures of where to stay): 7 Karil: 8-9 Ahrims: 9 All Melee Brothers: 9-10 Torag: 10 Guthans: 10 Verac: 11 Dharoks: 11 Killing Strategy: 11-12 Kill Orders and Rotations: 13 Tunnel Collapse: 14 Lobbying Techniques: 14-15 Trios: 15 Concluding Remarks: 15 Level Requirements: -Overloads -96 Summoning (can be done with war tortoise- 67 summoning) -95 Prayer -95 Range/Mage -85 Defense -Drakan’s Medallion (requires Branches of Darkmeyer completion and quest level requirements) What to do for prayers: -You should be on curses. -If tanking a melee brother, protect melee. -If not tanking a melee brother, pray mage or range based on who is on your side, Karil or Ahrims. -Anguish/Torment *Protect Item (also put this on for the tunnel collapse after a kill, you may die) Gear requirements: Ranged Mage -asc>nox bow>death lotus darts -seis>nox staff -serenic>pernix>death lotus -tectonic>virtus>seasinger (Melee is not a good idea at this boss; It is tougher to survive, and you can’t attack ledged brothers) NOTE** ROTS can be done with lower gear; but, the kills will have to be done by lowering all three brothers on each side before starting to kill. This will take more than one overload dose. Also, the longer the kill takes the more that can go wrong. NOTE*** If using mage, you must be on the opposite side of Ahrims. This is because when Ahrims takes to the air, mage only does half the damage to him than it normally would. Inventory set up -Phoenix Necklaces (especially for new-timers) -Ring of Vigor is advised for dps on last brother -Drakan’s Medallion -Overload -5 Restore Flasks- Adjust based on use, and if you are tanking Verac, bring more due to prayer drain. -Barrow Totems -Non-Degradable Shield -Adrenaline Pot -2-5 Sara Brew Flasks (Make sure not to bring Brew vials due to inventory clutter) -The rest is rocktails in inventory and yak -Mages, don’t forget runes!!! Ability Bar (ranged) Dual-Wield Pic 1 -Good to have defence abilities out for adrenaline stalls -Rocktails on bar makes it a lot easier to run and shoot -Voke on your bar is a good idea when defense abilities are not pulled out on screen like this Ability Bar (mage) Dual-Wield pic 2 -Remember, if you’re using mage, you have to be on side opposite Ahrims because only half damage will be dealt to him in the air - Voke on your bar is a good idea when defense abilities are not pulled out on screen like this Instances and banking: -Bank and gear between kills in burgh de rott reached via Drakan’s Medallion -To get to the ROTS well, tele to barrows via the Drakan Medallion -Everyone in the 4-man ROTS group makes instances in the well located west of the barrows tele spot using Barrows Totems until someone finds a tunnel with 2 bridges or less. This is so that during tunnel collapse, it will be a lot easier to get everyone out alive as opposed to a 3 to 4 bridge tunnel, which can easily take too much time and lead to un-needed deaths. Bridges look like this: Pic 3 This is an example of a 2 bridge tunnel on the mini map. Bridges appear as black rectangles. (2 bridges and below are you’re good to go.) pic 4 Map orientation: Pic 5 -The left side when looking up is the always the west side and the right is always east when looking up rotations. (Which brothers are on which side.) -Once in the kill area, the mini map actually shows north to be going <----------- pic 6 (arrow going <-----) So, I will explain everything as if north is like the way it appears on the mini map in the picture on the west side, and vice versa for the east side. Shadow Realm: When you get taken to the shadow realm, you must make all six brothers run over a different hole that is lit up, they are very noticeable, to then be released back to the surface. Note that when you are in the shadow realm damage cannot be done to the bothers and it is important to get out as quick as possible. If the bothers touch you down there they will hit you constantly so keep moving. You also cannot use your ability bar in the shadow realm, so make sure to eat through inventory clicks if you need food. Also, if Karil is bombing, heal to full health before completing shadow realm. Also, SR can be a great place to lobby if necessary due to the lack of a ranged presence to attack you. Barrows brothers break down Areas to be aware of (same for both sides, just flopped over the middle portal area.) Where Ahrims stands is where firehands will always be on both sides, and the blue box is their hit radius. This is assuming they are split up. If they are not, place another blue box equally opposite on the other half of the area. (Blue) The safer areas are around the edge in (green) Moderately safe area (orange) High danger area (purple) pic 7 Karil: (Red will be used to denote how to combat the specials for all brothers) Special Attacks -Firehands- (This is Ahrims, but the same thing applies, only Karil has black fire) Karil cannot be damaged in this state. pic 8 Stay on the edges of the map along the sides and back walls. Any closer than 2 steps off a wall and the firehands can hit you. If Karil and Ahrims are on opposite sides they will always firehand in the same spot like in the picture above, always on the north side in the middle of the 4 rock platform-looking-things. If Karil and Ahrims are on the same side, and one is going to firehand, it will always spawn at the north. But if both were to firehand at the same time, one can spawn on the north and one can spawn on the south, so be aware. But, in most cases, the south side is a lot safer than the north. Only go to the north if escaping from a bomb, which I will explain next or run around the back wall with a spinner. And, if you must pass through a fire hand, always use the mage ability Surge, if available. -Bombs Bombs look like chaotic clouds from runespan and spawn from Karil. Bombs come in sets of three on each side. Karil cannot be damaged in this state. Be careful not to stay near the middle portal during this attack; bombs from the other side, if close enough, can hurt you. If you’re on the side Karil starts on when bombs appear, you will be initially dragged towards them. To get away, it is best to click away and surge to a safe area. The next two bombs will then appear and blow up in the location where Karil shows up, so, to dodge these, just run to the opposite side of the room because the bombs have a large explosion radius. If you’re on the side that Karil does not start on, you know a bomb will appear if you see Karil on your side and you will also then run away as far as you can. Surge highly useful during this attack. NOTE**** You can hop to the other side of the arena by immediately clicking on the bomb as it appear and you will be teleported to the other side (that bomb with then not blow up). If you are too slow it will not let you through and you will be hit for high damage. -On Top of the Ledges Karil can go on top of the 2 ledges on the north and south ends of the area in between the 2 sides. He then shoots purple lighting down on the side he didn’t spawn onto those players. If players run into the lightning they will be hit for 1.5k damage several times until they run away from it. When karil is on the ledge, only the players on the lightning side can harm him. If you stay on the back wall, this will not hit you Ahrims: Special Attacks -Firehands (see Karil firehand instructions, they are the same), (Fire is orange rather than black) -On Top of the ledges Just like Karil, this move only affects players on the opposite side of where Ahrim spawned. Ahrim will place 8 smoke puffs that look exactly like the ones seen in Shadow Realm, only colored. Most will be purple, they will deal small constant damage to the player should they step in it. One maybe red/orange, if this is the case, if a brother steps into it, they will be healed in small constant increments. -Takes to the air (at 45k lp ahrims will take to the air he really does not do anything in the air so no worries also cannot firehand while in air so you can go in that spot at this point if you want. All Melee brothers: -All the melee brothers can do a Spinning Attack and do massive damage. (2000+ per tick.) If you are put into the shadow realm by a melee brother, when you get out, make sure to run because, most of the time, that brother will start spinning right away. The best way to get away from a spinner is to run from the initial spin and keep going along the wall. If you get stuck or there is a bomb where you are, turn towards the spinning brother and surge back through him. You will not take damage by surging through the brother and you will then have more room to work with. -Wall-Hop- Brothers will randomly run awkwardly away from you and chances are they are doing a wall-hop to then land on you for some high damage. To avoid this, take a few steps away from where you were standing and he will not land on you -Last brother left to kill- If a melee brother is last to kill make sure the person with less adrenaline vokes the brother and if it spins keep it near your partner so they can max dps it with sunshine or death swiftness. Torag: Special Attacks -Spinning Attack- (refer to all melee brothers) -In the dirt – You will know when you get put in the dirt when you can’t move and only your head is showing. At this point you need to alert your teammate to come free you. Spamming @@@@ in chat usually is a good way. When they see that, your teammate must dps Torag until you are released. The only thing you can do in the dirt is eat food. Guthans: Special Attacks -Spinning Attack- (refer to all melee brothers) -Throws His Spear- Guthans will release his spear and it will stick into the furthest player from him on the same side. This spear hits constantly on the person it spears and it has to be removed. Removing the spear- There is 2 different techniques that are up to the one with the spear in them. 1 is voking Guthans and waiting until he pulls it out. The second method is to run next to Guthans to have him pull it out. Either way, once the person tanking Guthans is in a safe spot, they can stop moving so the other can have the option of what he/she wants to do. It is the speared person’s job to get the spear removed. Verac: Easiest of the brothers and it’s best to learn by tanking him! -Spinning Attack- (refer to all melee brothers) He does do this, but not very often. At least not nearly as much as the others. -Ties Your Soul- There will be green arrows on the ground, if you do not run to that spot, Verac will drain your prayer at an accelerated rate. This is not a big deal if you choose to ignore it. That’s why you should have the extra restores. -Helicopter- On the off chance he does this he gets flipped up into the air and spins his flail like a heli blade, treat it like any other spin. Dharoks: Special Attacks -Spinning Attack- (refer to all melee brothers) -Give Me Everything- He spawns blue lightning around himself and whatever damage you do to him at that point will be reflected back on his next attack To make sure you do not get hurt, wait a few seconds then devotion with melee protect on and it will not hit you. Another way to block this if you do not have devotion or not enough adrenaline is to put on your shield and time a resonance. You can heal yourself instead of possibly getting ko’d. -Passive- The lower Dharok’s lp is, the higher his regular hits will be; so, always save him for last or you will be wasting a lot of food. Killing Strategy: -On all rotations Karil should be killed asap; both teammates on his side should work on him when he is there. -Kd=Karil dead, this means that Karil has been slain on his spawn side and it is now time to kill off all the brothers. I will give the order to kill the brothers later on -If Dharok and Ahrims are on the opposite side, I would leave them at 50k lp until the end if both players on that side saved their adrenaline. 100% adrenaline+vigor+adrenaline pot can do enough dps in 45 seconds, so long as they kill Ahrims first and Dharok last. -There is a timer on top of all the dead brother’s heads after they been killed. All will respawn with 25k lp if another brother from either side is not killed within that 45 second window. If they respawn the kill is not lost; but, the kill order will have to begin again starting with Karil. -The two players that are not on the side of Karil should have 2 brothers low by the time KD is called. Keeping them around 5k is fine until it comes time to kill them. Once again this changes when Ahrim and Dharok are on that same side. - On the side with Karil, when Karil is not around, try to dps one of the others on your side until you can attack Karil again. This will ensure an easier effort killing the other brothers come kill time. - It is always best to split up the melee brothers, one player takes one, and one takes the other. If there are 3 melee brothers on one side then make sure the one with Torag is by themself so they do not get dirted and spun on by another melee brother. - Be a team! If it’s DVG, have the one person voke Verac so the guy who’s speared doesn’t have worry about Dharok spinning on him when he’s trying to take it out. -After each brother is killed all others still alive will add 5k to their life points. -Another helpful hint: If Ahrims and Dharok are split up and you are on Ahrims’ side, after your team has reached KD, go to Ahrims and up him into the air by lowering his lp to 45k. Then, go back to your second guy. This way Ahrims is ready to be dpsed 50k when you are done with your second without worrying about firehands or going to the ledge. Kill Orders and Rotations on next page These are the kill orders for the various rotations which brothers to kill in order on each side of the map Note****** karil is to be killed first on every rotation even if you’re ready to kill your side wait till they say kd or the kill will end up having a lot of unnecessary problems. Also you can tell if a brother is killed when you see a little shadow burst come from the bottoms of the brothers. Rotations for the day can be found by googling rise of the six rotation, it’s the first link. -I written the first letter of the brother’s name you should kill in order once Karil is dead -these are not set in stone but it can make the kills a lot simpler if you have a baseline to go off of. -Some teams do it differently, everyone has their own opinions Ktd-gva Kgd-tva Kvd-tga Kad-tgv Ktv-agd Kgv-atd Kva-tgd Ktg-avd Kga-tvd Kta-gvd The easier rotations are when Karil and Dharok are on the same side so you have time to dps Dharok 50k They are the same concept when they are on the other side. Didn’t want to waste time writing them all the other way around. Tunnel Collapse: -After you get the kill make sure everyone loots the chest, then stand where the second purple force field normally is. If you pass this, then the tunnel will start collapsing. So, once all are ready, start running back through the tunnel. Pic 9 -You will notice when you get to the bridge that they are now broken. -There are 2 ways to cross. There is a ledge on the side and either a vine or a platform in the middle. -If you are the last one to the bridge, you take the middle jump (the vine or platform), because that is faster than taking the ledge and you need to catch up and get out before the timer hits 0. Team mates should also note whether or not they ahead of others and take the ledge to let those behind them catch up. -If the timer hits 0 rocks start to fall and you will take consistent high damage, so start spam eating while continuing to run back out to the rope you came in on. -Note: If you die during tunnel collapse, you will lose the energies that you received for that kill because they are unstable. If you make it out then the energies become stable and can be sold. Also you may bring them in for another kill because they will stay stable. Deaths can occur even on a 2 bridge tunnel, so having Protect Item on is advised. Lobby Techniques -If the kill is lost or someone dies early in the kill and you want to try to exit, you have to lobby. -Teleporting is not an option as it won’t let you once in a tunnel -One option is killing off your side before all the brothers come over and then lobby -You can kill only Karil and or Ahrims so mage and range shots do not hit you and run then around the edge of the map from the melee guys to then lobby -Running from the brothers in shadow realm is the easiest way to lobby -Remember that if no one is on the other side the other three brothers will come to your side as well. To avoid this when trying to lobby, if you kill a brother that will prevent the other three brothers from joining your side and making it much more difficult to lobby. Trios: -There will be times when someone dies and the three left over may try to salvage the kill. -If most of the brothers are ready to kill then the person that is by themselves needs to “hop” over to the other side with the other 2. This is done by entering a bomb as soon as it appears and it will teleport you to the other side. Note: If the person that is alone is dirted by Torag, the others to need to come to him and free him. -Once on the same side, your team must wait until all 6 brothers come to the same side before killing any brothers or the 3 will stay on the side with no one there and the kill will be lost. -Once all brothers are on the same side, pick off Karil and then try to kill the ones with the lower lp, preferably Torag and then Guthans, but things can always change. -It helps if someone calls out the first letter of who to kill so everyone is on the same page. -It is important on a trio to watch for Dharok. If he is last or second to last to die, time it after the “give me everything” to attack him or he may do that in the middle of trying to kill him and you will not have enough time to dps him to death. Helpful Tip: If karil bombs on a trio when all are on same side, a six bomb set will appear. To combat this, all can take turns hopping into the bombs and they will not blow up. Thank you for reading my guide. Hopefully it was helpful for you. PM me for any other questions you have. Hc Joker
  5. Hey, Usually, when I camp Varrock guards for medium clues, I get one in 10 to 20 minutes. Sometimes it drops in under 10 kills. I've done 6 medium clues today, which together took me about 3 hours to get. and I wonder if there's a daily limit, because I've been having a dry streak with clue drops. I've killed 100+ guards on my last trip, and no clue. I know you can't get another clue drop if you already have a clue banked/in inventory, but I finished my clues before hunting for others. Just bad luck? :P

  12. The part of the "Hero's Welcome" guide saying you will fight an adamant dragon is wrong; I know this for a fact as I fought a mithril one when I did that section of the quest. I think the stats were pretty much the same as the mithril dragons in the main part of the dungeon.....
  13. Ok, this is going to be a long post, but please bear with me, and I will try to be as grammatically correct as possible to make reading a small book easier. I apologize in advance for the length of the post. I have come to this website out of sheer desperation in the hopes that someone, anyone out there can/will help me. I am so desperate, I am going to risk putting everything on a public forum. I can't recover my own account, so how is anyone else going to be able to hack/steal it? I created my account within just a few years of RuneScape initially launching, when I was around 10 to 12 years old. That would put the year of creation around 2001 to 2003. My character name was/is [removed], and my original password was [removed]. I have played RuneScape off and on ever since. Sometimes there would be breaks of a couple years where I wouldn't play, but I'd always come back. Well, this last time was my longest break ever at 5 years. I played last in 2010, while I was still away at college. I tried the other night to log into my account because I was itching to play again. However, I couldn't remember my password. I filled out the account recovery form like it asked, but I couldn't tell them my ISP at creation. I am now 24; that's been 12 to 14 years ago. We have had several different ISPs, and my mother has no idea what ISP we had from 2001 to 2003. I got a response back saying my recovery request was denied. I followed the link, and it told me why, and it was information that I simply don't have because of how old the account is. I dug around on the customer support section of the website, and I finally (I don't know how or even where) found a form to fill out to be contacted by Jagex. I told my entire story in that form, and I received a form e-mail back telling me I must not have filled out the recovery form properly, and if I didn't know my ISP at time of account creation, I could provide my state. I already provided my state, and I gave them all the information I possibly could the first time I filled out the form. I was careful, because I wanted it to be one and done. The e-mail stated that I could not reply to it, so I tried to find the contact form I had filled out before. It is nowhere to be found; apparently I found it by dumb luck the first time. Also, the e-mail told me there would be links for contacting Jagex for further help, but, obviously, I have been unable to find them. I have looked everywhere for a way to contact Jagex, and there is nothing. It's all "check the forums", but the forums don't tell me anything new. So I decided to quickly create a new account so I could post to the forums, only to find out that only those who have paid to be members can post to the forums. I never paid even with my GodRulesUs account, because I am a casual gamer, so it would be a waste of money for me. So, basically, I am going to put all my information that I can give in this post and hope that someone can help me/tell me what to do. [removed] Basically, all I want is to have an actual CONVERSATION with someone from Jagex to get my account back. I will not restart a brand new account; I will leave RuneScape and find a substitute. Frankly, I am absolutely amazed and disgusted at the customer service (or lack thereof) that Jagex has. Does anyone, ANYONE know how to have a direct conversation with an actual human being, and not a human being sending out a form e-mail from an account that can't be replied to? Again, I am DESPERATE, and any help at all will be greatly appreciated. I don't know what else to do or where else to turn. Please, I am begging anyone for ANY help. Mod Edit: I removed your character name as it is effectively one part required to recover your account by someone else.
  14. I have 96 QP and all the skill reqs for the Legends Quest. I only need the map for the Khazari Jungle. I have a clue scroll in it :P
  15. NEW AND IMPOVED GUIDE! http://forum.tip.it/topic/317723-eoc-runescape-combat-guide-1-99-p2p/ Runescape Combat Guide 1-99 Welcome To My Runescape Combat Guide! This Has Been Greatly Improved Upon The Original. This Guide Will Get You To 99 Attack, Strength, And Defense In No Time At All! **Things To Note!** This Guide May Not Contain The Best Possible Monsters To Kill. EOC Messed Up Experience Alot By Instead Of XP Per Hit, XP Per Kill. This Also Has Ruled Out Many Monsters That Were Once Amazing For Training Such As The Rock Crab. These Are Now Level 102 Combat And Give Less XP Than Before. It Took Me Lots Of Time To Find The Best Possible Guide For Combat! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Abilities Abilities Were Released Along with The Evolution of Combat. They Allow You To Hit More DPS, Therefore Increasing Your XP Per Hour. There Are Three Kinds Of Abilities. Basic, Threshold, And Ultimate. Basic Abilities Can Be Put Together As A Combo To Stack Damage. It also Raises Your Adrenaline Bar, Which Leads On To The Next Kind Of Ability. Threshold Abilities Require That Your Adrenaline Bar Is 50% Filled. These Abilities Can Do Different Things Like Area Of Effect And Damage Over Time. Use These Abilities Whenever You Can. I Would Only Recommend Using Area Of Effect (AoE) Abilities When You Are Fighting More Than One Monster At Once. Lastly, The Ultimate Abilities. These Abilities Can Hit Up To 250% Of Your Weapon Damage. Only Use These When You Need It, Preferably When You Just Start Fighting A Monster To Get The Most Out Of The Ability. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Prayer Prayer Can Be Very Important When It Comes To Training. Prayers Such As Chivalry Allow You To Hit Harder On Your Training Monster, Resulting In More DPS. Prayer Can Be Expensive To Train And To Upkeep While Training, But It Is Worth It In The Long Run. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Weapons Weapons Can Really Affect The Speed At Which You Level Up. Weapons Such As The Chaotic Maul Can Hit Very High, Resulting In Much More XP Per Hour. Whenever You Are Training, Never Use Duel-Wielded Weapons. Use Two-Handed. It Allows You To Hit Higher, Therefore Killing The Enemy Much Faster. The Abilities That Can Hit The Most Also Require A Two-Handed Weapon Equipped. Starting From Level 1, Use Two Handed Swords. Once You Hit 50 Attack, You Can Use The Most Powerful Basic Equipment That Isn't All To Expensive, Rune. You Can Either Use A Two Handed Sword, Halberd, Or Sphere. Only Use The Sphere If The Training Monster Is Weak To Stab (None Of The Monsters In This Guide Are Weak To Stab). Use A Dragon Sphere, Halberd Or Two Hand At 60. The Two Handed Sword Is 1.2 Mil, So Use A Sphere if You Can Afford The Sword. 70 Attack Brings You The Abyssal Whip, Which Is Probably What You Want To Buy. Don't. There Are Plenty More Weapons That Give More DPS. I Would Recommend Using Guthans Sphere. This Weapon Can Either Be Bought Or Obtained As A Reward From The Barrows Mini-game. Use A Saradomin Sword At 75. If You Can't Afford It, Stick With Guthans Sphere. 80 Attack Is A Great Milestone. You Can Now Use The Chaotic Maul, The Highest DPS Weapon In The Game! This Requires 80 Dungeoneering And 200k Tokens (Which Is Around How Much You Save Up Getting To Level 80, Assuming You Don't Spend Any On Anything Else.) If You Don't Want To Get 80 Dungeoneering For The Maul, Buy A Saradomin Sword And Use That Until You Reach 99. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Training The Moment You've All Been Waiting For... Training! Here We Go. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1-50 Cow: Level 2 | Location: Burthorpe | HP: 25 | XP Per Hour: 50-80k. Please Don't Call Me Stupid, Cause I've Been Tested. If You Use Duel Daggers Or Claws, These 25 HP, 40XP Per Kill Cows (Located ONLY in Burthorpe, Can Get You A Great Sum Of XP Per Hour. --------------------------------------------------- 50-60 Moss Giant: Level 74 | Location: Chaos Tunnels | HP: 3700 | XP Per Hour: 80-100k These Are The Best Monster For These Levels. They Are Located, Among Other Places, In The Chaos Tunnels. They Are Mixed With Level 40 Moss Giants, So Only Attack The Level 74's. They Drop A Reasonable About Of Gold, Crimson, Green, And Blue Charms. They Also Drop Herbs And Runes. Only Bring 8 Lobsters Because They Are Ranged And BARELY Hit Someone With Full Rune Armour. If They Do, Its usually A 1-50 HP Lost. ----------------------------------------------------------------- 60-70 Jungle Spider: Level 124 | Location: Island East of Yanille | HP: 3100 | XP Per Hour: 130k These Are Amazing. At 415 XP Per Kill, These Die Pretty Fast Under Your New Dragon Weapons. They Are Weak To Crush, But There is No Dragon Warhammer (Mod Mark Has Confirmed That There Will Be One Soon). You Can Stay At These Until 80, But Deadly Red Spiders Ar Slightly Faster, But They Actually Do Damage. These Are Similar To Moss Giants, Never Hitting The Player At All. These Are NOT Poisonous! ------------------------------------- 70-80 Deadly Red Spider: Level 136 | Location: Chaos Tunnels | HP: 3400 | XP Per Hour: 150k These Only Give Slightly More XP Per Kill Than Jungle Spiders, But The Added Up XP Gives 20k More XP Per Hour. All Deadly Red Spider Locations Can Be Crowded, And Usually Contain Bots, So Try To Find A World With At Least One Person, If Not None. Use Torag's Hammer If You Want. These Are NOT Poisonous! ------------------------------------------------------------- 80-99 Option A (For XP) Black Demon: Level 140 | Location: Taverley Dungeon | HP: 3500 | XP Per Hour: 290k I Would Recommend These For The Best XP Per Hour At These Levels. You Can Either Stick With Your Saradomin Sword (Mentioned In The Weapons Section), Or Buy Or Win Guthans Sphere. These Drop A Great Amount Of Crimson Charms. There Are Some Poisonous Spiders Nearby, So Stay On The Side of The Demon Cave Furthest Away From The Spider Cave. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 80-99 Option B (For Money) Steel Dragon: Level 144 | Location: Brimhaven Dungeon | HP: 10000 | XP Per Hour: 250k I Would Only Recommend These If You Want To Get To 99 While Getting A Great Sum Of Money Along The Way. EOC Allows Players To Kill These With Melee Quite As Fast As Ranged. Make Sure To Bring An Anti-Dragon Shield Or Dragonfire Shield. Also Bring Anti-Fire. Do Not Underestimate The Fire breath. This Also Requires You To Bring A One Handed Weapon. You Can Use A Whip Now. ----------------------------------------------------- The Skillcapes After You Reach 99 In A Combat Skill, You Can Go Get A Cape Showing That You Have 99 In That Skill! 16. To start off, I know this question is rather massive so too anyone who puts in the time to respond , your answer is greatly appreciated :) Just before the EOC I dropped my bank and quit Rs, needless to say I've gone back on that decision. My question is, what is the best way to go from zero cash pile and measly stats to a maxed account (I know this should take very long time :P) Stats -------- -85 Attack -85 Strength -85 Defence -86 HP -88 Magic -71 Range -70 Prayer -70 Dungeonering -70 Runecrafting -52 Summoning -58 Slayer -60 Agility -50 Herblore -65 Theiving -60 Crafting -90 Fletching -80 Hunter -65 Mining -50 Smithing -75 Fishing -70 Firemaking -70 Cooking -50 Farming -50 Construction -99 Woodcutting My basic idea was to get 99 in a profitable skill and than to max combats through slayer. With maxed combat I would be able to PVM and make money for the buyables. Thats my very rough idea, so if you could provide any more detailed responses I'd love you forever ;) (Keep in mind I'm new to eoc :( ) Thanks!
  17. EDIT: This guide is made by Videl, my partner on youtube. Both of us release videos on one channel, in case you get confused. This guide covers all the monsters you can possibly get with 1 defense and the setup to use with 1 defense. It is an interactive guide, so you must have annotations on and click on the slayer monsters you wish to hear about. Otherwise, it will be VERY hard to navigate since there are 3 hours+ of clips. If you are also interested in seeing 1 def duo nex, solo corp, kiln cape guides, etc. They are all on the channel! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-pdWVBinZQ
  18. I have been making Combat Beta PvM videos on my YouTube channel, and it came time for me to take on the Kalphite Queen. However, the last thing I was expecting to happen while making this video was to get a Dragon Chainbody drop, lol. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_v0e-Xqioo All Like ratings and Comments are greatly appreciated. I'd like to get my channel a little bit more known :). My YouTube channel name is HumblexTurtle, and I want to go to all the bosses in the Beta and kill them with each combat style. If you are interested in experiencing the adventure with me, feel free to subscribe. Thanks for checking out this thread!

  20. I havea Macbook Pro that runs Runescape perfectly. I recently bought a new iMac. They are both running 10.8.1. The problem is that when the Runescape Applet opens, it loads and everything but when I have to type in my login info, it wont respond. Meaning it won't let me type anything I click the line to type but nothing happens. Any ideas how to get around that?
  21. It started with a fake Microsoft Defender alert. I did a manual force shutdown as soon as the message appeared, then restarted. The message had redirected me to a web page displayong the warning, so I hoped it hadn't already infected my computer, but it almost certainly has. I installed Spyware Doctor temporarily to find the cause of this, and it found something called Heur Zero-Day or some such. I couldn't do anything about it though, as this computer has no antivirus... One day later, the computer needs to check the disks for consistency after I had panicked and forced another shutdown yesterday. The process finishes without incident. However, internet explorer displays an error message- something about not being able to find files- on initial startup attempts and then just doesn't do anything at all. Chrome, which I rarely use, still works. However, it displays an invalid security ticket for Gmail and Tip.it, though in the latter case only after I log in. I go to the AVG website and try to install, but I recieve an error message saying "This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package. ... Also when I opened my downloads folder my copy of winRAR just disappeared after a few seconds. This is a major issue, the computer isn't even mine. I can't even start in safe mode as I don't have the password, only a registered fingerprint. Can anyone help?
  22. [hide]Hi all, Been a long time posting in this forum but I've come across something that I'm stumped at and could do with some advice. Let me explain some bits... I have running on the server some software called DirCaster which reads the contents of folders to create an RSS feed. e.g. I have a folder on fromefm.co.uk/media/altfactor full of mp3 files. DirCaster created this on the fly when you put the folder in as a variable. See http://fromefm.co.uk...?show=altfactor I am using an RSS parser called MagpieRSSwhich if I hardcode in the rss url works fine but doesn't work If I try to use _GET to change it. <?php require_once 'magpierss/rss_fetch.inc'; $url = 'http://fromefm.co.uk/archive/dircaster2.php?show=altfactor'; $rss = fetch_rss($url); foreach ($rss->items as $item ) { $title = $item[title]; $url = $item[guid]; $description = $item[description]; echo "<li><a href='#' data-src='$url'>$title</a></li> "; } ?> The above code successfully lists all the stuff in the podcast directory by running the magpie script which in turn runs dircaster to get the file listing. The problem arises when trying to make the $url variable dynamic. I thought I could just do this to create my own new dynamic variable $showname = $_GET['show']; But when I put it into the main code it breaks. <?php $showname = $_GET['show']; require_once 'magpierss/rss_fetch.inc'; $url = 'http://fromefm.co.uk/archive/dircaster2.php?show='+$showname; $rss = fetch_rss($url); foreach ($rss->items as $item ) { $title = $item[title]; $url = $item[guid]; $description = $item[description]; echo "<li><a href='#' data-src='$url'>$title</a></li> "; } ?> I hope this makes sense. I've got an example page here which DOES have the variable to get a show name but still has the dircaster url hardcoded. There is an echo of $showname in the description to check it works. e.g http://www.frome.me/....php?show=tipit Any ideas or advice would be helpful. Perhaps it's something MAgpie can't do. If so are there any other similar RSS->PHP parsers around that could do this?[/hide] Solved. Thanks Working (draft) script here: http://www.fromefm.c...er/?show=xxxxxx examples: http://www.fromefm.c...?show=altfactor http://www.fromefm.c...=homelyremedies http://www.fromefm.c.../?show=ourhouse Thanks for the help guys.
  23. I have a suggestion it would help me greatly if you have or get a button that can transform posts into printer friendly versions so I can keep my records right. I ask this not knowing if you do this or not for sure, thank you for your time.
  24. I was trying to find a way to use the new EoC hot keys to do barbarian fishing for a daily task. Clicking on the hot keys pulled up two options which was not faster. I figured out if you assign each fish to a hot key and use your mouse to right click on the hot key (1 for Leaping Trout) the option menu comes up and you can drop (the Leaping Trout) and still fish at the same time. Your charcter will not show the action of fishing but new fish will appear your inventory. It gets tedious when your inventory fills up, but it is much faster than stopping and dropping the fish. Here is what it looks like. http://img820.images...andrightcli.png good luck :)
