ClanChat/FriendsChat:- DeadManTeam Intro The clan will aim to dominate Oldschool Deadman Mode which means controlling Good training spots, Good resources spot and etc.. Rising through the ranks will be as easy or as hard as you make it to be, no Rank is safe even the leaders,Rising through the ranks comes with more responsibility to the clan, arranging events, raids and so on. Requirements to Join There are no Requirement to join but we need players who know how to handle themselves and are willing to spend a good amount of time in the game Benefits One of the Benefits will be the "Early game" Guide which i will give to you and it is about how we plan to progress through the game, being the first in everything in Deadman Mode (hopefully) and Getting the higher ranks and establishing our dominance through Runescape! Rules Basic Rules are as follow 1- Do not kill other clan members 2- Do not scam other clan members 3- If a problem occurs between two members, a 1v1 match with a General attending is how we go about it 4- No Cursing at other members, try to avoid offensive matters and subjects and more to come but these are the basics More Rules To Come These Are Only The Basics Ranks/Trading/Resource Gathering 1- Ranks Anyone can rise through the ranks by doing multiple things, By being helpful towards the clan members , by providing guides tips and so on ,on our own site/forums , by being very active and by simply obeying our rules. 2-Trading Trading is not yet confirmed, but if there is trading in Deadman mode then you can simply go to our forums and buy and sell your items there in the thread "Clan Market" 3-Resource Gathering Without Resources no one can survive in runescape, and they are going to be essential for food, potions, armor and so on, So we will have Ranked members who are solely ranked because of their contribution in potions, food, armor, weapons even flax, bowstrings, logs. Anyone who is useful will sure be rewarded. however no one is forced to gather resources and give them to the clan and it is not a rule. However everyone must contribute someway in the evolution of the clan. Items will be sold to the clan members at discounted rates, the higher the rank the better the discount, Remember that Everyone will get a chance to rise through the ranks!

And whatever Jagex says, buying spins to get xp and money, IS REAL WORLD TRADING AND NOTHING WILL CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE YOU IDIOTS AT JAGEX WHO CLAIM TO BE TRYING TO "INCREASE REVENUE!!!" REAL WORLD TRADING IS REAL WORLD TRADING!!! THATS THE LAW OF NON-CONTRADICTION YOU JUST DESTROYED!!! Remember those, Jagex? They are called the Laws of Thought. You can not say we can not sell gold for real money (which I hate, dont get me wrong) so that you have a darn monopoly on the RWT market!!! If you do it its allowed, and since it is a disgrace to allow it, DONT DO IT YOURSELVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so if someone reading this knows somebody in the financial department for Jagex, tell them please. PLEASE!?! PLEASE!?! PLEASE!?! PLEASE!?! PLEASE!?! PLEASE!?! you know my opinion. I just want my belove runescape back... Hello all, I've been really curious if it is worth getting 95 prayer or not because of the EOC (Evolution Of Combat). I have been told by some people that its worth it since there are 2 new curses. Though other players said it would be a waste since prayer doesn't really do anything in The New Runescape Beta... My account name is: xAncientsGSx feel free to pm me online I try to be on for at least an hour everyday. My stats are currently: Attack:70 Strength:70 Defence:50 Ranged:99 Prayer:62 Magic:99 Summoning:57 and Constitution(HP):89. (I'm currently leveling my atk to 70 as I type this [at 26k till 70] then getting 80 strength or higher. My friend also offered to give me some money to help me on the way. Please leave a message on your opinions. Thank you very much!(:

Just saw a banner after logging in about a Festive Aura giving a 50% XP boost each day during december. Because it's an aura the xp boost is probably limited by it's duration and recharge time, but that's quite a gift from Jagex anyway.

So we are getting RuneScape version 3 this summer. Certainly this will be one of the biggest updates to the game we have seen and it will a huge impact on pretty much everything. It will be great to see what Jagex have up their sleeves for this, more than just the technical aspects (even though those are certainly interesting as well). Myself I am mostly looking forward to two of the things mentioned within the video: 1. The new graphics. Judging by those pictures we will be able to explore and experience the world in a much grander way. Probably our ability to interact with the world will be enrichen as well. 2. The ability to change the world through our own actions and decisions. Now it is time for the sixth age, and we players will be able to form the future. This couldn't get more epic. Let's hear your thoughts :)

Greetings! I just got back to playing runescape 3 weeks ago from being a newbie. I saved up 10m for this thing they call "bond" now it has an option to "change character name" or become a "member" and getting "runecoins" right? I was wondering, I logged on to runescape website then it says there i can only change my character name if im a member. If i use the bond for 14 day membership will i still be allowed to change my character name? or not? from, mr. boomtastic

Youtube HD Video - This video will cause high CPU usage, to view the video in a lower quality, please click . Behind the Scenes - March 2015 Dimension of Disaster – Members only Quest On main update this month is our highly anticipated 200th Quest, and with it comes a huge amount of new content for you to enjoy. Ever imagined what it would be like if the hero never existed? Bosses have won, cities have been taken over because you just weren't there to stop them. In an alternative version of our history, Zemouregal rules “New Varrock”, an ominous city filled with the living corpses of all your previous allies, friendly shopkeepers and the poor old Varrock guard. In total there are 5 parts to this ridiculous and comical adventure, each a humorous take on one of our existing Varrock quests, with increasingly difficult requirements to access. You’ll also need to make some cash since you won’t be able to access your bank in this new world, dealing in Zemomarks to earn the gear you need to succeed… aww, it’s just like being a noob again. To help you with this there’s a task set to complete with a few special assignments to, once again, rescue poor old Gertrude’s cat! The content is full of that nostalgic buzz you’ve told us you want, with familiar music, hidden rewards and celebrations of all things RuneScapey. The content is jam packed full of rewards for completing each part of the quest, the task set, and from Gypsy Aris’s special shop. Boss Practice Mode – Members Only Are you one of those players that looks at a boss monster in the news and thinks 'That’s cool, but I’d just get owned'? Perhaps you’re an experienced boss fighter but would love a way to try out different tactics without the threat of death? Well, we have the perfect solution for you – and it’s called boss practice mode. When you enter a boss lair you'll see a practice option, which will mean you can die safely, but not earn XP or loot from the possible kill. We’ve also added rewards for players who take new boss killing players into their groups. If you earn a kill with players who’ve killed the boss less than 10 times, you’ll earn kill points to spend on some awesome cosmetic gear to show off your helpfulness. In other news There’s lots of other great stuff going on this month, like changes to the instancing system for bosses, making it easier for you to re-join rentals after restocking, and a result from months of discussions on the forums we’re finally ready to release our new look skillcapes, so keep an eye out for those. The outfit on Solomons Store this month is something really special, A Dark Lord Pack featuring crazy animations and a fearsome looking costume, plus we’ve got a few new potions to give your character some unique skin tones. The BETA servers are getting some new content to try out and feedback on too, like the rework to the death system, a crazy mash up of legacy interfaces and EOC action bars and a new “Drop pickup” system that allows you to grab multiple piles of loot in one easy click. The BETA servers are there for you to try things out, so do let us know your feedback after you do. Have fun! Plus, keep bunny ears open for news on our eggciting Easter content. In our latest podcast, the RS-DOS (Dukes of Scrumbridge) team reviews the release of the new quest Dishonour among Thieves! Our very own Mod Osborne quizzes Mod Tim, Mod Ollie and Mod Chaose on many aspects of the design, development and release - as well as have a Quest Name Dropping competition.Well..looks rather light?

Update coming out on Monday October 13th Quick find code: 16-17-314-65433538 Hi everyone! At Jagex HQ we’ve watched the Ironman Challenge explode in popularity and have really enjoyed seeing players take on the challenge in youtube videos and livestreams! If this is new to you, the Ironman Challenge is a community-craze where players start a new RuneScape character and have to play entirely self-sufficiently – you can only use resources and equipment that you’ve got for yourself and cannot get help from others. It’s a lot of fun and really tests your skill and game knowledge, as well as giving that feeling of being a wide-eyed newcomer to RuneScape who has to fend for themselves – even for grizzled veterans As much fun as this is, there are some drawbacks at the moment: there isn’t an easy way to show that you’re playing an ironman character, and there is no way to prove that you’ve honoured the rules of the challenge (or tell if others haven’t). This is where we could help! We’re considering adding a mode for ironman into the game, to support this awesome community-created gameplay. We’re treating this as an experimental project, and can’t yet guarantee if or when it’ll come out, and may release a very basic implementation before deciding whether it gets developed further. (The Old School RuneScape team are considering an ironman mode too, which makes a lot of sense as ironman’s popularity really grew out of the OSRS community. If you’re an Old School player keep an eye on the OSRS dev blogs and forums to join that discussion when it starts soon.) At this early stage, we’d love your feedback and to get some discussion going over the right ruleset for ironman. Here is an outline of the rules and game mechanics we’re considering so far: - Ironman mode starts with a freshly created character. - Once entered into the ironman mode, it cannot be turned off. - When in ironman mode you: -- Cannot trade with other players -- Cannot use the Grand Exchange (except for buying Bonds – ironman your way to membership!) -- Cannot pick up drops from players -- Cannot pick up drops from monsters you have not killed -- Cannot participate in multiplayer minigames -- Cannot be affected by other player’s beneficial spells or abilities (e.g. Ice Asylum, Tele Group, etc) -- Cannot be affected by group buffs (e.g. clan avatar) -- Cannot use other player’s POH services (gilded altars, lecterns, etc) -- Cannot acquire resources or equipment from Treasure Hunter -- Cannot be assisted or accept aid. -- Cannot buy items in shops which were supplied by other players -- Cannot join a Dungeoneering team (only solo allowed) -- Cannot use the grouping system when it launches - Players in ironman mode would have a special chat badge, maybe a skull (like the mod crown or VIP star). - We’ll need to find a way for ironman players to complete Shield of Arrav and Heroes Quest solo. - As a stretch goal, we’d consider a hiscore table filter to just show ironman players - And a final twist: an extended mode for the bravest of the brave - Hardcore Ironman! -- Also requires a freshly created character -- You only have one life – once you’re dead that’s game over! -- Only your hiscore remains. -- Hardcore ironman mode would show a different chat badge (maybe a red skull). That’s what we’ve got so far. Please let us know if you can think of any other considerations or ways to make this even more fun! Mods Easty, Philip and Pips. [DISCUSSION] My Suggestions: I made a post on the 200M All Skills topic about Ironamn mode. NO MTK, Only Drops are Coins, Bones, Ashes. p.s. Why is this being discussed in the 200M All Skills topic? Yeah Good luck to anyone going for 200M All Skills in Ironman mode or Hardcore Ironman mode!! Ironman Mode - Status Update Our announcement of an official version of the Ironman Challenge for RuneScape has created quite a stir! In this post I’ll give you an update on progress and tackle some of the common questions and concerns the community has been talking about. This post will talk about Ironman in “RS3”, the version of Ironman for Old School RuneScape has it's own developer blog over in the Old School Announcements forum. Treasure Hunter - Let’s get the biggie out of the way first. Treasure Hunter will not be available in Ironman mode. You will not be able to open the treasure hunter minigame nor acquire keys. Being very luck-based, and being associated with micropayments, both mean this was going to be controversial with players looking for purity. Obviously this has an impact on revenue but in this exceptional case I felt it was best to take this decision so Ironman can get as much community support as possible. Hiscores – Ironman and Hardcore Ironman will both appear on the main hiscores. However, there will be a separate Ironman hiscores too which will show Ironman and Hardcore Ironman accounts. There is then another separate hiscore for just hardcore ironman. Bonds – Ironman players will be able to buy bonds from the grand exchange, or be given them via trade from another player, but they cannot sell bonds and they cannot redeem bonds for Treasure Hunter keys. This means players can use wealth on other accounts to pay for membership on their Ironman character, as many have requested. Downgrading – If you want to convert your ironman account to a regular non-ironman account you can do this by buying the Book of Manners from Mr Ex in Edgeville for 100k gp. Can you guess why it’s called that? Worlds – Ironman characters will play on the same worlds as everyone else. Account linking– or having multiple characters within the same account – this would be a big change to how accounts are managed and characters are selected and we have no plans for this. Shield of Arrav & Heroes Quest – Key items from these quests can be traded via the normal trade system similar to bonds. All other items are blocked and you’ll receive a message such as ‘You cannot trade this in Ironman mode.’ Monster tagging & drops – You need to both tag and cause at least 50% of the damage to get a drop. Monster tagging & XP – Your XP from killing monsters will be proportional to your damage contribution. Disabled features – The following features will be disabled for Ironman players – Lootshare, PvP XP, PvP Loot, Group-based abilities, group-based spells, group-based buffs, other player’s divine locations, Treasure Hunter, Assist, Accept Aid, and Social Slayer. You can still access other players PoH’s except parts of their house are blocked (portals, lectern, altar, etc.) Nerfed features – Clan Citadel skill plots only give 25% standard XP. Minigames / D&Ds – Any activities which involve multiple players and give resource or XP rewards will be disabled. This includes Sinkholes and Warbands. Life-saving items – Such as Ring of Life or Sign of Life. As the player has to earn these themselves, they will be allowed. Hopefully that covers most of the major discussion points players have been talking about. Hardcore Ironman Hardcore Ironman has itself generated a lot of debate. It’s worth noting that we don’t intend this to be a widely used mode: it really is for just the most hardcore of players who want an extremely difficult and high stakes experience. If you die in Hardcore Ironman mode you are dead forever. You can log into the lobby but not a game world (and therefore stay on the hiscores). However “safe” deaths (such as in dungeoneering) don’t count and are not permanent. Some players are understandably worried that connection problems could get them killed and they’d lose their character for something that wasn’t their fault – but in our view that is part of the risk and challenge. That said, we are going to put in some very basic safety nets but we’re going to make you work for them – it is ironman after all! The first option for continuing after death is to unlock the ability to automatically convert your account to regular Ironman if you die. You can buy a Jar of Divine Light from Mr Ex for 100k gp which will mean the gods will see you again upon death, and allow you to return to life as a normal ironman. This is an unlock rather than a physical item (like the scroll of life from Dungeoneering). This will cost GP so players will face a tactical choice in whether they dedicate precious money towards this safety net. The second safety net is to play long enough to earn an extra life. If you’ve reached total level 1000 and can afford 100k gp you can buy a Divine Coin from Mr Ex, which when offered upon death will return you to life just once. You can buy another at total level 1600 for 10m gp. This means there is a maximum of 2 extra lives and no further. We feel it’s important to make this feature a reward that you have to earn, rather than it being applied to all (otherwise everyone will just start playing hardcore ironman rather than regular ironman). Be aware that we will not do character rollbacks or recoveries for Hardcore Ironman characters under any circumstances – that’s the risk you accept when starting this type of account. So that’s nearly the end of the Ironman status update… the final news is to tell you that the start of private testing will begin on 29th September! As you may have seen in this thread we’ve asked for volunteers who can dedicate time to testing a pre-release version of ironman. This testing will be in the live game but only accessible by pre-made accounts that Jagex will provide and which won’t appear on the ironman hiscores. We’ll be randomly selecting a small number of volunteers from the forum thread in the week before the testing begins. Full release is a bit further away, and will depend on how the private live testing goes. TL;DR Ironman won’t have Treasure Hunter.Bonds can be acquired but not sold, and not redeemed for Treasure Hunter keys.In regular Ironman mode you’ll be able to buy an item with gp which immediately converts your account to normal (non-ironman).In Hardcore Ironman you’ll be able to buy an item with gp which if you die converts your account to regular ironman. At total level 1000 you can buy an extra life for 100k gp, and at total level 1600 you can buy another for 10m gp.Private live testing will begin w/c 29th September, but such accounts won’t appear on hiscores. We’re really interested in your feedback, especially around the topics of death in hardcore ironman mode. Overall we think this is a good rule-set (and we don’t want it to become more complicated) but we’d love to know your thoughts on the balance and details. Thanks and we look forward to your thoughts and to bringing you more info in the near future. Mods Pips, Easty, Philip, Ryan, Drew and Kelpie. BTS 119 - Ironman Mode

BTS Video Youtube HD Video - This video will cause high CPU usage, to view the video in a lower quality, please click . Behind the Scenes - February 2015 This February, Zamorak’s planning one heck of a heist, and the Wildywyrm returns for good. Plus, we’ve got improved Demon Flash Mobs, the awesome GameBlast charity event and Double XP Weekend, and streamlining tweaks to combat. We’re definitely feeling the RuneScape love this month – read on to find out more! Demon Flash Mobs Members Only Demons need love too, so this month were giving our Demon Flash Mobs some well-deserved TLC. They've been made considerably more rewarding, giving better basic drops with some new, unique additions. First up, there's a set of tradeable titles, based on the names of demon bosses, including 'the Frostborn', 'the Glorious' and 'Executioner'. Demon bosses also have a chance to drop new, tradeable summoning materials used in three level 82 pouches. The demonic familiars summoned from these pouches are aggressive, and once you enter combat, they will attack nearby monsters of the same type you’re up against - even if you yourself aren't fighting at the time. In addition, Demon Flash Mobs no longer deal extra damage to players using the Protect Item prayer, which should make attacking them in the Wilderness a less terrifying option. Wildywyrm and Lava Strykewyrms Members only The Wildywyrm first opened its toothy maw back in February 2011 as a special holiday event, and it’s never left your thoughts despite its short lifespan. Keen to add more oomph to its home, we’ve brought it back permanently, meaner than ever and capable of dropping a range of new gear. If you haven’t heard of it before, the Wildywyrm’s a giant version of a strykewyrm found only in Wilderness. She’s also brought her smaller brothers, level 94 slayer targets known as lava strykewyrms. The Wildywyrm will spawn very rarely, although JMods will be able to make her appear at will! Each killed Wildywyrm offers a drop to everyone who participated in the kill, meaning more loot for all! And what loot it is! On top of new ashes, which give the best Prayer XP of any ashes in-game - she and her smaller brothers can drop upgrade items for the abyssal whip, staff of light and dark bow. These make new level 85 combat gear with unique special attacks, and with new degrade mechanics inspired by OSRS. Try the new whip, which can drag your target towards you; the powered-up new staff; or the bow, whose passive effect and special attack really reward a high-skilled player. You won’t spend coins to repair the weapons – rather, the base item will degrade to dust, leaving you with the upgrade item to reuse. This adds a much-needed item sink that’ll really help the economy. Dishonour among Thieves Members-only quest I talked about it back at RuneFest – a quest all about Zamorak pulling together a crack team of his toughest, most cunning, most dangerous followers to pull off an epic heist, the likes of which Gielinor has never seen. A sequel to 'Missing, Presumed Death', this new Intermediate-level quest (requiring level 30 Thieving and Agility) sees Zamorak and his most elite crew attempt to steal the Stone of Jas from the clutches of the master of shadows – Sliske. The chance of direct contact with Zamorak, Nomad and the rest of the crew - plus being part of the heist of the century - is something not to be sniffed at. Rewards include a brand new cape with thieving bonuses, plus hidden XP chests for higher-levelled players! Double XP Weekend/GameBlast15 Don’t forget the GameBlast event and Double XP Weekend starting on 20th of February! We will be live streaming our 24-hour charity event at Jagex HQ, and you’ll be able to join in by donating to the Well of Goodwill or taking part in your own charity events! The Community Team have plenty of events, competitions and madcap challenges planned, and you’ll be able to buy a new cosmetic outfit from Solomon’s Store, where 100% of the money gained goes straight to SpecialEffect: the charity behind the GameBlast event. Double XP Weekend lasts from the 20th until the 23rd of February, so get your banks ready now for maximum return! Player-Suggested Combat Changes As polled last year, players voted for the return of a number of monsters to be made aggressive again. Due to the close nature of the poll (there were only a couple of hundred votes in it), we have removed the more dangerous monsters (like dragons) from this list. Let us know how it feels, and if you want more monsters added to the list. Give us your feedback! We will also be significantly improving combat responsiveness, allowing you to instantly trigger an attack when you use an ability, and change targets more easily. Revolution mode has also been improved, and should stop and start in a more responsive manner. In Other News... Valentine's Throughout the game and via Treasure Hunter, you’ll be able to gain petals to unlock new emotes, costumes and weapons with a lovey-dovey feel or a dark, bitter tinge. You can even unlock any of the items you may have missed over the last two years! The crazy new effects on offer include exploding your enemies into a million hearts. Awwwww. Solomon’s Store Solomon gives you wings! 4 new sets to be exact - feathered, bladed, gemstone and ethereal - designed to complement a wide range of costume types. He’s also added a new Nomad pack, complete with awesome costume, weapon overrides and nomad walk animation – the first ever to be offered in his store. There’s a new pet called Fimberzizz, too, if you’ve got some Loyalty Points or RuneCoins to spend. Have Fun! It’s a corker of a month, and I can’t wait to see you get to grips with all this content. Don’t forget – RuneLabs is now open, and you can now support ideas that you think best match this month’s criteria. Get stuck in and get the content you want into the game. Have fun! Mod Mark

Hey all! Partaxx here, with some RuneScape song remixes! These are a few I've done so far, more to come. I've been trying to get them out there and get kind of a name going for myself. It would be awesome if you guys would check these out and let me know what you think of them!! Cave Background Remix This is a Cave Background Remix! For those of you that may not recognize the name, it's the song from the mine underneath Falador; one that I'm sure holds a special, nostalgic place in our hearts from days of old. Let me know what you think! This is a new kind of thing for me, having incorporated actual instruments and vocals into it. A Daemonheim Rendition This one is a complete overhaul of the Daemonheim music, also currently the main theme of RuneScape, with realistic instruments. It's a little slower, and a lot more powerful. It took a few days but I think it was worth the work and it was a lot of fun. Let me know what you think of it! Port Sarim Remix I had techno remix in mind when I started this one. Port Sarim is the place I would always seem to be when I was a noob way back in the day. I think it turned out pretty well. Spooky Remix I began this one with the intent of doing something similar to A Daemonheim Rendition wherein I would recreate it realistically, but it quickly switched courses and became its own thing. I really like the way this on turned out. I would especially love feedback on this one. Well, there we have them! I hope you all enjoy! Thank you so much for all the support through the past few months, and thank you in advance for any feedback on these!! In the open is a quickchat line. This is all very interesting, lol. Certainly a step in the right direction for Jagex for stopping gambling.

Video discussing my thoughts in more detail here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLsgSca5bK0&feature=youtu.be October looks like it's going to be an exciting month. Nothing ground-breaking, but everything is a welcome and interesting update. Top mentions are: KBD: Old boss revamps are always bound to revive dead content, especially something as old as the KBD which literally has not been exclusively touched in years. Should boost both QBD and KBD popularity with the ornament kit drop. Finally, I am really looking forward to the new lore introduced. I'll probably go out and kill KBD a few times (if possible granted the high accessibility and low difficulty of the KBD) just to find out about it first hand. H'ween Event: I forgot to mention in the video, but I do believe this year's holiday event is the first event where Jagex is offering rewards beyond typical cosmetic items in the form of the ecto-whatever-crusher. It's not a significant item, as the bonecrusher itself isn't very big, but it should be a nice little thing to have. Not really anything else special, although Jagex also seems to be going away from the Grim Reaper theme of Halloween and overall making less of a big deal about this seasonal event. May just be because there's two this month. Eh. Solomon's Store: Not all worthy mentions are good ones. I could rant on about the increased emphasis on clearly unpopular microtransactions, but instead I'll comment on how Jagex is focusing increasingly on their latest microtransaction method. Notice the progression from loyalty store -> SoF -> Solomon's, and how they've slowly put more weight on the newer one while easing off the older ones.

Tip.it has created something that is likely the most useful thing I've ever seen (for this era of Runescape, anyway) in terms of discussing Jagex and their intentions, acitvity, and their financial goals. My opinion may vary from yours, of course, so take that first line with some Morton's :D. Anyway, I had come across and contributed to a few topics regarding Jagex's finances, bots in general, membership and microtransactions. A small part of it was the bots, but I think at this point I could start a separate post for it. Here's a pic of Tip.it's http://open.tip.it/high-score-stats Check the dates on it for references on when my pic was taken And one of the last 24 hours' updated graph: What I said when I posted the first picture originally: The most recent "bot bust" would be the 730k-ish accounts removed from the hiscores as shown on the 2nd picture. Aside from that, drop-off points currently show about 150k players removed from the hiscores. The peak number of players on hiscores in the first picture is about 1500k~. Again, on the 2nd picture, the peak is a flatline 2M+ accounts available to be shown on the hiscores (the limit is 2M period). As I thought, and still assume, Jagex is banning only what is absolutely necessary, and over the past 3 months they have allowed at least 200k accounts by based on the lowest drops on each pic. Of course, not every account there is a bot, but I don't think I'd believe 200,000 new NON-BOT players have subscribed to Runescape in the last 3 months.. Beyond all this jibber-jabber and opinionated bullcrap I've posted is some actual info. What is Tip.it's forum users' take on it, and how do you feel about the situation(s) involving bots? Edit: sorry for the messed up pics/urls. Haven't used Tif in a long while, and this new crap is bugging out on me.

Hey all! Partaxx here, with a new song up: Cave Background Remix! For those of you that may not recognize the name, it's the song from the mine underneath Falador; one that I'm sure holds a special, nostalgic place in our hearts from days of old. Here it is: Let me know what you think! This is a new kind of thing for me, having incorporated actual instruments and vocals into it. Also, a while ago, I posted up links to a few remixes I did on this forum. I got some great feedback on them, so I decided to do it again! There are 3 mixes here: A Daemonheim Rendition This one is a complete overhaul of the Daemonheim music, also currently the main theme of RuneScape, with realistic instruments. Behind the Scenes – October 2015 October's full of outlandish and beautiful locations. They may not be safe as they seem, however, so you might want to pack a weapon or two. There's Mazcab, under threat from Tuska's airut in our goebie quest, Call of the Ancestors. One of Gielinor's most iconic cities receives a graphical overhaul and falls under siege by the Black Knights in Invasion of Falador. Finally, there's the Underworld, where the dead are being devoured in Halloween 2015. Call of the Ancestors | Novice Quest Anyone who's travelled to Mazcab will be familiar with the goebies and their predicament: the airut are flattening their villages, while rocks are flattening them. Everywhere they go, everywhere they look, there's death, unhappiness and big, killer boulders. In Call of the Ancestors, Acca Kanatah will draw a line in the sand, and call on you to shore up his village's defences. But it's from these humble seeds that something grander grows. You'll be joined on an eventful journey by three young goebies - Tunks, Peck and Lunch - who will learn to defend themselves, hit each other with tools, and become heroes on the path to the secret of Mazcab. This may be a Novice quest, but there are puzzles and action sequences to keep you on the edge of your rock. It's also mad as a bucket of frogs and twice as funny. Complete Call of the Ancestors, and we'll hand you some goebie-like cosmetics - plus a sizeable reward for those who enjoy the Liberation of Mazcab Raids. Call of the Ancestors is our first bottle quest. Bottle quests are shorter and smaller in scope, but jam-packed with character, plot and immersion. We're hoping that you'll enjoy these compact quests so that we can make more of them, upping the number of stories that we tell in a given year. More information at RuneFest on Saturday, October 3rd! Invasion of Falador | Event and Graphical Rework For decades, the Black Knights have hated the White Knights for their wealth, resources, and their tendency to bustle in on other people's affairs. But the Black Knights have spotted a weakness: the White Knights, holed up in their castle, believe they're safe. For two weeks in October, they will prove them wrong by laying siege to the once-peaceful city of Falador. Fight for either side (or both, if you fancy), take down their champions, demolish catapults, pop balloons, and care for the sick and wounded. By doing so, you'll gain valuable XP and fill your pockets with commendations. Cash in those commendations for rewards, including XP lamps, bobblehead knight pets and a candyfloss mace. At the end of the event, we'll reveal which side was most supported. That's just the half of it. A treasure hunt will take you across Falador in search of the fabled Banner of Raddallin, while Falador archaeologists will have unearthed a mysterious chest in Falador Park. This chest will require you and the community to dig it out, but what's inside? Well, we wouldn't want to ruin the surprise. The Artisans' Workshop will have a helpful 50% XP and 200% reputation boost, and the Giant Mole will yield double drops for the two weeks. All of this comes lovingly packaged in a graphical rework that brings an extra sheen to the pearly whites of Falador. Virtual Levelling | Ninja Update Many of you are aiming beyond level 99 in your skills, and it's time you got tools to measure and show off those goals. This month, we'll release Virtual Levelling, which will be an opt-in mode to visually display your levels out of 120, rather than 99. There are no gameplay benefits to this – just a little extra joy when progressing past 99. Those who opt in to Virtual Levelling will see the lofty levels of everyone else; those who opt out will not see other players' virtual levels. In addition, we'll make cosmetic changes to the skill interface for those who want them, giving players the choice of icons or a trim to show off the skills they have (virtually) maxed. Halloween 2015 | Holiday Event Far beneath Gielinor lies the Underworld, never before seen by living eyes. It's here that Icthlarin guides the dead across the River Noumenon and onto a peaceful afterlife. A pretty big obstacle has landed in Icthlarin's way, however, in the form of his sister – Amascut. She has a taste for souls, and funeral chimes are more like a dinner bell for her. Icthlarin will desperately need your help. You'll take a portal to the bridge across the River Noumenon, where you'll jump into rickety boats and gather wayward souls. You'll then escort them over the bridge, fending off devourer beasts with your combat or Divination skills. It's here that the biggest trial awaits: the Avatar of Amascut. Defeat her together, and the way will be free for the souls to move onto the next life – whatever that may be. We'll sweeten the deal by offering new gravestones, a death animation, a special pet and an item of benefit to Herblore and Firemaking fans. We'll also place a quicker and more efficient Ectofuntus into the area so that you can train up Prayer between your bouts of soul searching. Pet of Seasons and More This October, we bring you the adorable Pet of Seasons. As with the Crown or Cape of Seasons, you'll gain small components while you're skilling, or from Treasure Hunter. Gain enough of them and you'll unlock individual sprout pets, and combine them together to form the tradeable and sought-after Pet of Seasons, which will change according to the time of year. It's almost too cute – just look at the little blighter! That's not all – there will be golden tools available on Treasure Hunter to uncover the chest in Falador Park, and Solomon will introduce a Revenant Outfit with a floating animation that sweeps you off your feet. RuneFest Live Streams We couldn't leave without reminding you of a rather important upcoming event:Runefest 2015! It kicks off this weekend, with the live stream beginning at 10am (that's 09:00 game time) on Saturday October 3rd, over on our Twitch channel. Every mainstage session will be piped from Tobacco Dock to your computers, and we will even offer exclusive reveals and competitions between each session. We promise to showcase the updates that'll wow you in 2016, including the new game client, Chronicle and more. It really is an exciting time to be a RuneScape fan. Have Fun! There's a strong month of Scaping on offer here, and we can't wait to see you get stuck in. Enjoy, and let us know what you think. Mod Mark RuneScape Design Director
