Hello friends. I think it's not very unusual that returning members are coming back to new Runescape. I admit that I logged once every yer or so. But the game seemed so much new and I didn't bother to try anything. The game has shifted so much that I can't wrap my head around what to do first. I know I can do what I did back when I last played, but I guess it's not efficient anymore and I'm all about being efficient. So my skills aren't the best but I think it's something to work on. I think still the most effective way to gather money for skills is combat. But to be effective I heard you need 92 prayer and high herblore. I have only about 15 M and not real way to make a bank. What would you advise me to focus on doing next? I don't want to do much things at once and focus at the things that would help me the most. Thanks in advance!

So after being thrown into a world with EoC with no prior experience, I've finally understood stuff enough to piece together solid QBD runs. I'm doing pretty good killing this thing, and today marks the first time I've been able to kill her since like....forever. Seriously. I only killed her once before and that was for comp. And I cheated. I used range. And who uses ranged? Ain't nobody got time fo dat. Anyways here's the video. I'm just happy I can finally reclaim my dignity from this giant worm thing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCpTZfwBoCU&feature=youtu.be

Efficiency experts - thou art needed! Hey everyone, I am having a bit of a difficulty with deciding what to do with my construction skill. My short term goal is to get all skills 90+, I will have thieving in the bag this week, then I have a choice of either hunter or construction to go for 90, but I would go for construction for starters, because it is fast and I like instant gratification :). I have 80M to spend, I can make about 3M/h soloing GWD and I have about 2-3 hours of game time per day. I like to train as efficiently as possible, but I am not that great at figuring all the numbers out myself. The problem I have with construction specifically is that I have no actual idea of how many planks p/h you can realistically make. What I do know is oak planks are 8,9 gp/x, teak are 10,5 gp/xp and Mahogany are 14,9 gp/xp. (Thank you Grimy's spreadsheets!) So I have 2 main questions concerning construction: 1. Are SC hammers worth it? taking into account that I can get 9 hammers in 2 hours (what kind of xp/rate and gp/rate do they become useful or not useful) 2. To get constr 90 I need approx 23,4k mahogany (48M); 54,6K oak (27,2M) or 36,4k teak planks (32,8M) I don't feel like oak would be worth all the time just to save 5,6M, what about Mahogany vs Teak? 3. Anything else I am missing and should take into account? Suggestions appreciated for the following skills, these are what I am planning, if you have better ideas, or if you know xp rates, please do shoot at me: 1. Hunter (planning on doing HH, will get zamorack's favour at some point prob) Should be around 200k/h? 2. Firemaking - bonfires with magic logs (no idea of xp/h) 3. Agility - random xp lamps, task rewards and troll invasion all the way 4. Smithing - got 94 banked with SC hammers and addy ingot i - roughly 200k xp/h (i won't switch to plates cause I really cbf to walk that much, Artisans workshop ftw!) 5. Mining - LRC with urns and juju mining (no idea of xp/h) Any and all help would be greatly appriciated!

Hello, I have a few questions about training some skills - I think I know the 'best' way but things may have changed since I last did them. For Woodcutting, is it still Pines with Lumberjack and Beaver? Should I be burning the logs, dropping or splitting? For Mining, do people still use the LRC worlds? Is it better to smelt and alch, smelt and drop or just drop/bank? For Fishing, I assume C2 is still the best method? For Smithing, I've heard Burial Armour (Addy Ingots III) is the best - is this true, and why is it? Finally, could someone give me a breakdown of what port upgrades I need to max port score? Or should I just build all of them? Thank you!

On the Morytania Tasks page I notice there is no info for Morytania Legs 2; well here you go, it's: Armour: 83 Level: 20 Type: Hybrid Also, I feel this seriously calls into question the accuracy of the entry for Morytania Legs 1, which as of now is: Armour: 69 Life Bonus: 360.

Deo's Blog! Accepting all donations :) [spoiler=Donation Disclaimer]I legitimately am going for 200m XP in all skills. However, I may lose interest in the game over time (many top players have and I'm not ruling out the possibility that I may as well) or there may be updates that lead me to quit my goal. By donating to me you are investing your own personal RuneScape wealth in my goal with no promise it will ever be reached. I do not expect to receive many donations until I've 200m'd a lot / all nonbuyables to prove that I am dedicated enough to get 200m all. My name is Matthew. I have been playing RS for 10 years, and De Elite One is my second account created. I took a break from RS from December 2012 - September 2013 because I was bored of the game at the time. I have now returned and am focusing on working on getting lots of XP and going for other completionism related goals! This blog was mainly started as a motivation for me to keep playing (since I was "maxed"). Prior to maxing (apart from Dungeoneering) I was very oriented towards leveling up skills. I am now after XP goals and various other goals that are listed in the "Goals" section below. Fun fact: I actually wrote the majority of this before I was maxed ;). Only a few levels before though. Wicked DIY's - DIY Challenge
Kaiven posted a topic in BlogScape (Ongoing Progress Reports and Goals)
Hello everyone, I'm Wicked DIY. I have been playing RuneScape since 2004 and was hyped when I heard RuneScape 2007 was going to be released. Sadly I didn't had the time/motivation to play after it was released due to college finals and such. But hey! Now I'm back with the DIY challenge! The thing I love of the DIY challenge is that I have to do everything myself, after playing for 10 years I feel like I needed a challenge and so far it has been great! My motivation to play OSRS as a DIY is thanks to Itam. After reading his blogs I got inspired till I couldn't hold it anymore and had to start. :P ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rules: - All DIY rules. *Torso can be obtained *Void can be obtained Posting progress: Updates will be made whenever I have the time to play. If there's no progress on a day, then there will be no update. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Progress information: IGN: Wicked DIY Goals: - Lv. 50 in all skills(Except: con, rc, farm, pray & herb. Hello, I'm Mierin (previously Enaid Anwen). I want a trimmed completionist cape, and I'll be posting updates on that goal here. I've retired from RS now, this post is just here as a reminder. Current stats (Runetracker): Adventurer's log Max total goal: 91% - yeah right. But it sounds good :D. 92%! Still lots to go. yay 93% 94% - It's becoming harder to write meaningful 'yay!' messages. That's a good sign I suppose. 95% :). 96% is divisible (without fractions resulting) by 3 AND 4, the last number before 100 to be that. 3% to go, almost a full percent is dungeoneering now :P. 98% - :D? 99% - 99s & dungeoneering go. 100% Stuff to get for trimmed completionist: 202/4150 gold tickets obtained. 8/13 champion scrolls found. 7000/125000 runespan points obtained. 331/500 fish flingers medals obtained. Slayer Log Since I promised people to note my tasks/skips/blocks etc. and I hit 93 slayer/all slayer monsters unlocked, I now have a log. Blocks are jungle strykewyrms, desert strykewyrms, abyssal demons, gargoyles and fire giants. I may unblock fire giants to block ice strykewyrms. Aquanites are still locked. Assume the completionist cape gets summoning defence, soak and range str but no other changes. This affects weight also (so the set weighs some -40 kg). Of course the armour also grants the void set effects, barrows set effects, penance set effect, slayer helmet effects and protections, life point boosts, and various item effects such as prayer necklaces, amulet of zealots, divine and elysian (both on the shield), salve amulet, 151 scroll capacity, Castle Wars armour effects (with cloak and helmet usable in CW), Family Crest gauntlets, ring of Charos, camouflage etcetera. It also provides a 2.5% xp boost to selected skills and all elite diary item effects. This set is now available for $200 at your local gamestore. On purchase this armour will also be added to your current dungeoneering binds. 3) DKS shouldn't spam your alog as much. Seen loads of posts in the 200m all skills thread in regards to Rs07. I can see how they're a similar topic, but since there is a dedicated OS forum I reckon it's a decent time to jump in and start this topic here. So without further ado.... Feel free to discuss: Contenders to achieve 2277 first First to various 99s Strategies relating to 99 all in RS07 Optimal training methods/efficiency Tracking site for Rs07 http://crystalmathlabs.com/tracker/ (Thanks to ca2theone for linking and Foot for making it) Initial notes

I'm looking for an item to wear in the neck slot that is either gold or white that is noticeable. I've already tried out the gold jewelry, but none of them are really what I'm looking for. If any of you guys have any ideas or suggestions, I'd like to hear them since I'm kind of at a loss at the moment. Thanks.

My Blog Hello Tip.it forum users! ~~About me and this blog~~ My name is Jacek, I'm from Poland and i play RuneScape since 23.12.2005. Before Dungeoneering came out i didn't really enjoy anything in RS, I just wanted to get some 99s. In late 2011 when I joined DungeoneeringSweepers my RS career has changed. Dung was that what I whole that time needed in RS. Many people from that clan taught me everything i know about DG and I'm very happy i could been there. My biggest problem in DG was everyone in team were maxed and I'm almost always lowest total :P Now i decided to go on Max Cape and that's why I started this blog. I enjoyed RS again and I will put here screenies of level ups/funny floors/maybe some DG records (im hoping to get some of them in future :D) ~~My RS account now~~ I Have long way to get Max Cape and open all doors in dg, but I think I'm going to get it one day! :) My skills: -29.11.2013- ~~ 90s Cape~~ Mining 90/90 1.03.2014 Agility 81/90 Smithing 90/90 7.12.2013 Fishing 84/90 Thieving 90/90 23.02.2014 Firemaking 90/90 11.01.2014 Fletching 70/90 Farming 77/90 Hunter 74/90 Summoning 89/90 Divination 87/90 Last update: 09/03/2014 At this moment my goal is to bank 90 smithing (got 88 banked already) and I will get that smithing on platebodies. Before going for Max Cape which is my very long term goal I'm aiming on 90s Cape. After smithing I would finish 90 Divination, and then Agil+Mining. Somebody told me i could get smithing faster in Falador on other method, but i spent literally 1.5 year only dunging, so I'm little outdated with new skilling methods :P My bank is poor :( At this moment I've got 54M in pouch, and 27K mithril bars :D That's all, excluding 9K Overloads (1) which I use slowly for DG. Dung is also my only moneymaking method, because when I love dung and people pay for it, it's the best what i could choose :D Instead of Max Cape I am also slowly getting 200M dung xp (177.7M at this moment). It will take some time to get 200, because I mostly do 0-prestige floors. (c1 rushes are really boring :D) ~~Other Goals~~ -Key sub7 floor 13%- -Key sub6 floor 13%- -Get sub5 floor 13%- 3 sec off time I want to get :\ Thanks for reading this blog, I will put here many pic's from game :) So wish me good luck, and have fun reading this! ~Viz

Alo everybuddy. I've recently obtained 95 prayer, and I was planning on actually DOING something with it. I was thinking something at Godwars, because now that I have turmoil, I can actually compete if need be. Bandos sounded good, but I've been hearing terrible things about how utterly impossible it is to find an empty world. My next choice would definitely be Kril'Tsutsoroth: Zamorak's General. However, I haven't been able to find any really up-to-date guides, and I always preferred getting the specifics from you lovely folks at H&A. So let's get right down to it, shall we? First are my stats (for those of you too lazy to click my name to the left and look at the hiscores)... -99 attack -99 strength -99 defence -99 constitution -96 summoning -95 prayer -89 ranged -99 magic -92 herblore (I could stew for ovls, but I have yet to do so) ...and some of the important items I have available include... -about 10m cash to blow on supplies when needed (donate plsss) -chaotic rapier -elite void -every flavor of Barrows gear -chaotic crossbow -over 200k DG tokens to spend -I DO NOT HAVE THE FOLLOWING: Bandos armor, dragon claws (sold these spiky mittens back because I realized they really aren't that incredible for PvM in general), sigil shields of any kind, chaotic longsword (don't even try to convince me), Armadyl armor, any sort of Nex gear, purple party hat, and pretty much 98.333334% of the items in all of Runescape Lastly, I need to know literally everything there is to know about Zamorak Godwars. I emphasize this not because I crave knowledge (which I totally do), but because I have absolutely none on the matter. Treat me like an idiot. I love that. MMMYEAHHH...

Hi tl;dr I came back to max. I maxed 20/08/2015. I once wrote a guide to Bathtubs for Beginners on TIF, which can be found linked in my sig. It won't be updated anymore, but it's still a nice read :) I am also prone to the odd name change. Commonly known as Tansuo, I have recently been called Taylar Swift, Robby Mugabe, YOL0SWAGGINZ and Duckwitchery. Anyway, here are my stats at the start of this blog (04/12/12). Tip.It Guides lacking substance/updated info/extensive info
Ren posted a topic in Website Discussion
Tip.It guides lack content. I'm not really an avid gamer anymore but certain things that I checked weren't updated or as clear as I wish. I'm making a complaint now because it's been years with very little change to the site (granted new updates like gano area guide and nex, etc.). For example: http://www.tip.it/ru...ng_guide.htm#FT It lacks detail on areas, XPrates, etc. Not just the most popular, but abstract areas brand new players could either know about or the more "veteran players" that later on if it's changed to be good use (Beefy bill and Karamja exchanger NPC's, for example). Some areas may be even unpopulated or the spawn areas for that gathering may be shorter distance between than others. The fish guide, my example, lacks specification on rivers. Which rivers? All rivers, literally? Which area content is F2P and which is P2P? Which parts of the guide are F2P and P2P unless color-labeled like so? It's just a big hassle (me switching from F2P to P2P gameplay all the time due to having multiple accounts) and not knowing which will either waste the most time, I.E. powerfishing herring, over something like exchanging Tuna+Swords. It'd be great to have color-labeled XP/h or something like that for gathering skill guides. I saw one guide like that and it was very helpful. It aimed towards lower-end players', mid-level cash/lvlup-concentrated players' and the higher level players' areas. ---- 2nd Example: http://www.tip.it/ru...2monster_id=436 This is (I believe) ALL monsters in the Tip.It Bestiary. NONE show a drop rate for specific items :(. I, personally, think this would be a step up. It gives much more detailed info, very accurate info, and would compete with the Rswikia articles that exist. I'm not saying people won't think you're taking ideas and content from other sites, moreso just expanding your normal site with what was already available. People question credibility with Rswikia because it can be edited by anyone. At least Tip.It has a review of sorts, and if it's wrong, it likely will be fixed by someone trusted. It's what makes Tip.It stand out..But then Rswikia has more info than Tip.It and I guess more info accessability. Please improve open.tip.it/ to something more than just a graphically overhauled version of Tip.It. It's exactly what Jagex did. After all, shouldn't Tip.It be considered the most comprehensive and accurate fansite, not just for the 'noobs'? -
Hey all! Partaxx here, with a new song up: Cave Background Remix! For those of you that may not recognize the name, it's the song from the mine underneath Falador; one that I'm sure holds a special, nostalgic place in our hearts from days of old. Here it is: Let me know what you think! This is a new kind of thing for me, having incorporated actual instruments and vocals into it. Also, a while ago, I posted up links to a few remixes I did on this forum. I got some great feedback on them, so I decided to do it again! There are 3 mixes here: A Daemonheim Rendition This one is a complete overhaul of the Daemonheim music, also currently the main theme of RuneScape, with realistic instruments. It's a little slower, and a lot more powerful. It took a few days but I think it was worth the work and it was a lot of fun. Let me know what you think of it! Port Sarim Remix I had techno remix in mind when I started this one. Port Sarim is the place I would always seem to be when I was a noob way back in the day. I think it turned out pretty well. Spooky Remix I began this one with the intent of doing something similar to A Daemonheim Rendition wherein I would recreate it realistically, but it quickly switched courses and became its own thing. I really like the way this on turned out. I would especially love feedback on this one. Well, there we have them! I hope you all enjoy! Thank you so much for all the support through the past few months, and thank you in advance for any feedback on these!! Ok, so we have two choices here: We can either play a game based on Eclipsis Phase, a game set in the dark future where Human built AIs, known as TITANS, have taken control of the Earth, and Humanity exists spread across the Sol System. The Core Rule Book can be found here: http://robboyle.file...rdprinting1.pdf Freely avalible from the publisher. (No I am not an expert on the rules, it will be a learning experiance for all of us. I would suggest going to page 154 (Sample Characters) and picking one of them if you don't have time to study the rules in detail.) The game would start with the team of you based out of an office on Locus (The largest settlement, orbiting Jupiter), essentially as a band of mercenaries. You know each other. You have been contacted by a Professor Ming, who has requested a meeting to discuss a job offer. The second option: Pathfinder. Set some 10 years after the events of Windward, you are the elected/enforced/entrenched leaders of the Colonies of the Windward Isles. The war between Chelliax and Absalom has raged continually, dragging the world into a war for supremacy. The new God, Garmund...at first he intervened to protect Absalom, but then he withdrew his support and retreated, first to the Monolith, and then to the depths of the Jungles. Ostensibly to gather his strength, but in reality nobody rightly knows. However these issues are very much in the background, for you the major concerns vary between war with the Kobolds, the increasingly oppressive and unrewarding rule from the Monolith, and its settlement, and with each other. The situation is not yet at boiling point, the recent (though temporary) defeat of the Drow in the tunnels has provided an unexpected lull in which it is...not safe...but opportune, to make a stand without fear of being subdujated by the greater Evil of the Drow. The first Congress has been called to discuss issues of Colonial Importance, and this is where the game starts. You are level 10 characters and have a Stipend of 6,200 GP per month, each (Which will vary depending on the strategic situation). You will also recieve a fund of troops, each, which you can 'spend' on the various hotspots that develop. Your job is not, however, to sit around the table talking while growing rich. Your people expect you to fight for them, what you should 'do' is up to you. Recovering sacred Artifacts, attending diplomatic missions in Absalom/Chelliax/Further afield, fighting on the frontlines, or even carrying out precision strikes are all part of your remit. Dying/Regenning permenantly reduces your Stipend and fund of Troops, unless the group undertakes a particularly challanging mission to build that colonies' faith in their new leader.

I am drawn to a 1880s setting. Guns are reasonably uncommon, as are Cars, but can be acquired. Also the Tavern has something against Archers, so maybe Gunmen will be more tolerable =P Magic would be Esper and Artifact based. The Esper Magic itself is reasonably weak...Flame Magicians = Able to produce a candle flame. In game terms this means level 2-2.9 costs 0.2 per 0.1, level 3-3.9 costs 0.3 per 0.1, and so on. Each player gets a level 1 power at the start of the game (For instance Candle Flame, Ice Nail, Rock Knuckles) and most NPCs will have some limited form of Magic. Only Magic would be handled through the Nimbus system (Minus Parity Levels), everything else goes through the traditional Dungeoneering system.* Artifacts can be acquired and produce singular effects, depending on the magic type being used. The Artifacts tend to be the size of buttons and tend to be mounted on weapons, clothes or, for the magically enthused, wands/staves. A typical artifact might be 'Firey Sphere'. For Fire/Pyro mages this would produce a flaming sphere at double (Up to a certain point, 7, for instance, decided when the artifact is created) their level. For Water/Hydro mages it would produce a steam cloud at their level. For Electro mages it would produce a flaming sphere that erupted lightning bolts, at their level -1 (Since Fire and Electricity don't exactly work together =P). The setting, beyond the general era of 1880-1889 is undecided. We could do Victorian London, or City-X, or the area around Caster in that era. We could use something like the Meritocracy that was discussed last night, with Magic being the Governing power, or the Quisitor of Caster, or Impertor of Priest Town, or Stovepipe hat wearing politicans. We could do Air/steamships, or the exploration of the African Interior. I am open to most things...as long as they explained in a manner I can understand. *Leveling up for most skills will be through the traditional Dungeoneering system of 'You do a task and you get better at doing that task.' For Magic you would set yourself a task, for instance "Travel to the Tailors and buy a pair of Goggles", I assign a difficulty rating, and if you complete the task then you gain points that you can spend to increase your magic skill. You can then spend skill to gain powers. These Powers may affect artifacts, reduce modifers or add new effects to your spells. In all skills each full number(interger) value increases your rolls by 1. Levels are capped at 20. Alternatively you can spend the points gathered to tailor a quest/task. For instance you could spend 4 points to buy a chance encounter with a bard, who tells you of a secret tomb containing the Artifact of "Force Shield". Essentially you give me an outline of a quest and I fill in the details and run it. Finally, for an increasing cost (1.0 for the first, 2.0 for the second, and so on) you can buy 'feats' which have a very wide meaning and needs to be nailed down. The game will be using Aspects and Fate Points. Please consult: http://www.faterpg.com/dl/sotc-srd.html for additional ideas, the system explained below is just my interpretation, I am willing to modify that if the changes make sense. In summery: An Aspect is a character Trait, for instance "Tyrant" "Coward" "Muscle-Bound" "Genius", etc. They are the traits that make up your character. Using an aspect adds 5 to a single roll, or allows a re-roll on things covered by that trait (since I am doing the rolling please tell me when you are using a +5 BEFORE I roll.). For instance "Tyrants" would be better at intimidating people or commanding troops, or counting gold. "Cowards" would be better at running away/dodging attacks, etc. Either of these uses 1 Fate Point. Aspects which have negative connotations, for instancy Tyrants being unable to show mercy, or Cowards who can't fight particularly well, gain 1 Fate Point when their aspect gets in the way. They actually have to get in the way to give you Fate Points, you can't simply start a fight with a mouse then not show mercy/be afraid of it. If I intervene on behalf of an Aspect, aka you are about to let another party member walk free, but you are a tyrant, I will take over your character, but give you a fate point. If you then attempt to free them straight away you will be warned, if you persist lose all of your fate points. Freeing them later, when your character has had time to reflect, is fine. Aspects are decided at the beginning of the game, 2 by you, and then 2 by another person(randomly selected) and 1 by me. Along with the 'Blurb' of your life, as explained below. At the end of a 'bought' quest you can change 1 Aspect(Character Growth), or by spending 5 of your Fate Points a (randomly selected) person can replace one of your Aspects(Epiphany). Plot Aspects, for instance 'Adept of the House of Tarsus' can be changed to reflect story development. Feel free to add these sorts of aspects in character creation. Naturally extreme derpery when selecting other people's traits will result in someone else picking them...For instance selecting, for Mather "Afraid of Science" or "Mortal Phobia of Ice" for Retech. The Aspects you select for other people should develop the character based on what already exists. The Blurb of your life should be just that. You write one to three lines on where you grew up, what you did as a child, etc (It is assumed everyone will be approximate 22-27). The person who choses your other aspects then writes what you did in the last 10 years or so. I then write what you did in the last two months or so, leading up to the present moment. I will take any comments you want into consideration. ...Simply I will add an event that causes everyone to meet up for one reason or another, as well as extricate people from any long term jobs they may have had. Skills: You are level 1.0 in your magic/-mancy skill. This is set in stone and cannot be changed during creation. If you wish to not have magic then simply don't add this skill, you can choose a magic later, if you change your mind, but will start at 0. You can select: 1 skill you are at 10.0 in. (46.9) 2 skills you are at 5.0 in. (22.8) 3 skills you are at 3.0 in. (12.6) 4 skills you are at 2.0 in. (8.4) 5 Skills you are at 1.0 in. (5.0) (warning, convoluted/confusing rule system follows, using this is NOT advised.) If you want to customise this list then 0.0-1.9 costs 0.1 per 0.1. 2.0-2.9 costs 0.2 per 0.1, and so on. The bracketed values are the totals for each catagory. This is only used in character creation. This should sum to 95.7. The highest level you can reach is 14.1 at 94.7. Obviously be reasonable...If you were the assistant to Hiram Maxim, who died under mysterious circumstances, and left you his Maxim Gun then there will be fallout from that. Likewise if you are an Artifact Thief, hence you have 20 Artifacts, there will be a lot of fallout out from that. However all stories will have 'fallout', so don't ask 'How many artifacts can I have without getting fallout?' And don't be afraid of fallout. If you are a nobody, who never did anything with their life, and is basically boring as hell, then your adventures will be boring =P Death usually resolves as a 20 minute timeout. If you break a law that would see you arrested for more than a month, then you are skulled. If you die while skulled you move 1 step along the permadeath route. Going 30 Minute time out, -10.0 Points(not skills) then Permadeath. So 3 strikes and your out. "Damnation seize my soul if I give you quarter, or take any from you!" - Captain Blackbeard ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The few survivors make it to shore~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Whether it's been hours or days since the battle, you can't really tell. Slowly, one violent coughing fit or ragged breath at a time, the sea water begins to vacate your lungs and the memories begin to return to you. Yes, there must've been a battle. The blood stains on your sopping wet clothing can attest to that. Through one way or another, you've made it from the battered remains of the sinking ship to land and now it's time for rest. Your mind begins to wander in sleep... Captain Frega's ship was the most feared vessel known in the Inner Sea region. Its complement consisted of 250 experienced and fearsome pirates, as well as nearly fifty siege weapons, including twenty "dragon cannon" smuggled from distant lands. Captain Frega had terrorized the region for nearly three hundred years and was featured in local legend; his frequent raids on towns even up to ten miles inland made sure that those legends would never die. Nor did he die; one of the secrets that he trusted only to his crew was that he was actually a lich, something that granted him eternal life and allowed him to safely navigate the eye of Abendego, a massive permanent hurricane that only the greatest of sailors have ever survived. He had attracted the attention of powerful adventurers and archmages that sought to end his terror through epic campaigns, but he always returned, with a new ship and a new crew. Although dissuaded by the high mortality rate and the fact that the employer was an undead monstrosity, for one reason or another, you were accepted and joined his crew (already an achievement) and served under him in some capacity, although given the crew's massive size and experience, it was unlikely that you made it far up the ladder. The ship's success once again attracted the attention of lawful authorities and an entire fleet was dispatched to deal with the problem. The ship hid in the region's natural coves and ports, but with the help of other pirate captains that sought amnesty from the authorities or were jealous of Captain Frega's success, the fleet found and chased the ship into the open ocean, where in a fierce naval battle, Captain Frega's ship was destroyed. Not once did the fleet attempt to grapple or board the ship, so fearful they were of fighting the legendary pirates in hand to hand combat. The fleet scoured the waters for survivors and killed them before returning home. Except, you did not suffer death, but something much worse for a pirate. Poverty. The fine clothes and fine wine and fine women (or men) seem like a distant memory now. Instead, the only thing that you wear are bloody rags, the only thing you've had too much to drink of is sea water, and the only thing getting in your pants is sand. Out further along the beach, someone is waving to you. Could it be...another survivor? You stumble your way towards them. ----- Hopefully that provided enough background information for the most part. This campaign is set in the inner sea region and part of the Arcadian sea. Further details can be found on the Pathfinder wiki or by asking me. The general cultures are the same as in the Golarion setting, but the actual area that this takes place is my own creation. Creation Rules: Level 6 1st party Pathfinder SRD sources + Dreamscarred Press Psionics allowed (case by case for other things) 1 bonus skill point per level to be put into either swim or survival skill 25 point buy 2 hero points It would also be cool to add backstory, to help me and others to get to know your character better. Some possible questions that you might answer: Where did you come from and how did you end up with Captain Frega? What position on the ship did you hold/what was your role? How did you manage to survive and get to land? And any other information that you'd like to add, but I'm sure that we will get to experience your character's personality first hand once we start. The only thing is that you are PIRATES. Given that, it is probably not wise to attempt and play a paladin, as you will probably lose your powers pretty soon from looting and pillaging (or letting others pillage while you stand by and do nothing to stop them). Also, if you would like to play an unusual or hated race, that is fine by me. It may poison your interactions, but you are already murderers and that will probably lead to some prejudice already. In a society where strength is the only thing that counts, maybe it wouldn't be as much of an issue to be an orc. Also, the captain was an undead monstrosity, so you're probably in the clear there.
