Recently, I had to endure a forum vacation, but that is not what this thread is about, this thread is about where they sent me. When I awoke, I was in a nice clean white room, with nice looking people, they were all acting surprisingly nice to me, they told me about the alternative, where most players sent on vacation are sent, a grueling jail where they are forced to do hard labor, but they said "I was a lucky one." One of the nurses smirked after that was stated, I didn't think anything of it. They told me I would be doing a test, to help better player behavior and perhaps end what they called trolling. They called it the Ludovico treatment, yelps addition. I was given a delicious breakfest, pancakes, with bacon, along side of orange juice. They then told me about the test, they said, all we are going to do is to have me watch a movie. I was first injected on what they would call awakening potions, to ensure I don't fall asleep doing the presentation. They strapped me in, and strapped my eyes open, to ensure I wouldn't miss any of the movie. The movie started, the first scene was about a SOF thread, which was considered spam, they showed me the replies throughout, it was at this point, I started to feel horribly ill, I hadn't realized the "awakening potions" they injected me with was actually some sort of medicine meant to induce sickness. I screamed to stop it again, but they would only turn up the threads reading in response. This procedure continued for 12 more hours, one of the last scenes showed for that day was a hang yelps thread with the "Rainbow Trololo Theme" playing, "I screamed, how could such lovely music be mixed with such violent pain?" By then I realized what the injection was. The doctor stated "I don't know much about music, aside that its great for influencing emotions, but you seem like you would be a strapping young man if you weren't against SOF updates." I screamed, "but SOF updates are causing RWT! They are allowing us to practically buy gold!" The doctor stated, "In due time, you will see the error your way, but I will have you know, that these updates are hurting actual RWTers buisness. Don't forget we are not RWTing as Jagex is not a 3rd party company." The movies ended, and the pain finally wore off, they said, "You have made progress, but we shall continue the treatment tomorrow." All I could think to my self is that I had to endure more of this wretched treatment. They served me dinner, It was an odd one to say the least, it was Cotton Candy Strings, with uncooked apple pies. Odd, but I was just delighted to finally be away from the treatment. I went to bed soon after. Later that night however something odd happened, I heard a thread about the problems of Sgs, I had no medicine injected in me this time, but I felt the same type of pain as if I was injected, I didn't understand what was happening, I fell out of bed and started to scream. Eventually the reading stopped, I thought I heard a laugh, but It was likely my imagination. I went back to sleep, undisturbed. The next days treatment was very similiar, I had to endure the same pain, as the first day of treatment, It was horrible, as usual, however, after the treatment was over, just thinking about negativity against the SOF caused great pain, I was confused. The third day came, and they told me, there will be no injection today, they had some special guests this time as well, Mod MMG, Mod Mark, Mod Emily, and a few forum moderators were all their to witness my third and final day of treatment. The doctor told the moderators about the treatment. He stated "With it, we can ensure all trolls become passive, and we can ensure that the 10% who don't already support SOF, will now support it! The doctor was excited. He mentioned also about the medcine injected into me, and how I would no longer need it, and because of that trolls, as he called them, could now be controlled. The treatment started, I started to feel the intense pain again of the last two treatments, but realized what has happened, I realized the treament was sucessful, and I could no longer state my opinions about SOF. I was no longer a free man. I began to cry in sheer pity. The Mod MMG, and the rest of the Jagex staff who attended were quite excited. The Forum Moderators were disgusted, one passed out, another one began to cry, realizing that they may have gone too far, Jagex reassured they were doing fine. As the proceedure continued, the Forum Moderators left the the room, while the Jagex Moderators watched in excitement. The procedure finally ended. Mod MMG, then asked, "I see this works very well, but how much will it cost?" The doctor stated "It is cheap as can be, with it, we shall ensure no troll will troll our forums ever again!" Mod MMG, and the other Jagex Moderators looked satisfied. The doctors then released me out onto the forums again, where I tell my story about where I was taken during my forum vacation. -
Hello, I am in the progress of making a staking account. I am wanting to make a defence based staking account as I have heard that high att and def with lower str is a good type of account. My current stats are 62,63,60 but i want 70,65,75. The problem is that I have already leveled prayer to 43 and prayer is pointless in staking due to the unneeded combat levels. My question is should i make a new account and get 70,65,75 and keep 1 prayer or just continue with my current build with 43 prayer. Thanks for reading.

While i was just leveling up my construction skill, someone came in and killed me, making drop all my stuff and sending me back to lumbridge. 1. why can players enter your house while you are in build mode? 2. why is it i dropped my stuff while i was building, instead of just getting sent out of my house? 3. Why can't i decide the pvp area in my house? 4. Why does someone do this in the first place? i didn't lose anything of value, just was a mild set back, it just pisses me off that this happened

If something like this is to go through, even though its in the states, it redefines the way you can handle things. And truly making bots and the like is breaking the ToS, "No foul" has truly happened to Jagex, they mess up the ingame economy but that doesn't hurt Jagex as a company. Unless you can argue that they have lost customers but I'm not sure how that would hold up.

Hey all! Partaxx here, with some RuneScape song remixes! These are a few I've done so far, more to come. I've been trying to get them out there and get kind of a name going for myself. It would be awesome if you guys would check these out and let me know what you think of them!! Cave Background Remix This is a Cave Background Remix! For those of you that may not recognize the name, it's the song from the mine underneath Falador; one that I'm sure holds a special, nostalgic place in our hearts from days of old. Let me know what you think! This is a new kind of thing for me, having incorporated actual instruments and vocals into it. A Daemonheim Rendition This one is a complete overhaul of the Daemonheim music, also currently the main theme of RuneScape, with realistic instruments. It's a little slower, and a lot more powerful. It took a few days but I think it was worth the work and it was a lot of fun. Let me know what you think of it! Port Sarim Remix I had techno remix in mind when I started this one. Port Sarim is the place I would always seem to be when I was a noob way back in the day. I think it turned out pretty well. Spooky Remix I began this one with the intent of doing something similar to A Daemonheim Rendition wherein I would recreate it realistically, but it quickly switched courses and became its own thing. I really like the way this on turned out. I would especially love feedback on this one. Well, there we have them! I hope you all enjoy! It seems that a certain mod on the Runescape Recent Udpate forums have gone lock happy pertaining threads about the recent SOF change which allows you to convert your prize into Runescape gold. What are your thoughts about this update, and what are your thoughts on the certain corrupt mod?

Perhaps in time, I'll add Nex to this list, but I have never tried to solo Nex, so for the time being, I will not. Spooky Remix I began this one with the intent of doing something similar to A Daemonheim Rendition wherein I would recreate it realistically, but it quickly switched courses and became its own thing. Hi there, Recently began playing RS3 again, had this account for almost a month, 70 combat level, 952 total level. Pretty much looking for a highly active and social clan community. I mostly want to be able to hold a conversation throughout the day with a good number of players, and have people i can quest with or do whatever with. Ya know? My first few years I never played efficiently ( efficiency, wut is this?), and so I've played catch up on a few skills after returning to the game in May of 2012. Ok, so we have two choices here: We can either play a game based on Eclipsis Phase, a game set in the dark future where Human built AIs, known as TITANS, have taken control of the Earth, and Humanity exists spread across the Sol System. The Core Rule Book can be found here: http://robboyle.file...rdprinting1.pdf Freely avalible from the publisher. (No I am not an expert on the rules, it will be a learning experiance for all of us. I would suggest going to page 154 (Sample Characters) and picking one of them if you don't have time to study the rules in detail.) The game would start with the team of you based out of an office on Locus (The largest settlement, orbiting Jupiter), essentially as a band of mercenaries. You know each other. You have been contacted by a Professor Ming, who has requested a meeting to discuss a job offer. The second option: Pathfinder. Set some 10 years after the events of Windward, you are the elected/enforced/entrenched leaders of the Colonies of the Windward Isles. The war between Chelliax and Absalom has raged continually, dragging the world into a war for supremacy. The new God, Garmund...at first he intervened to protect Absalom, but then he withdrew his support and retreated, first to the Monolith, and then to the depths of the Jungles. Ostensibly to gather his strength, but in reality nobody rightly knows. However these issues are very much in the background, for you the major concerns vary between war with the Kobolds, the increasingly oppressive and unrewarding rule from the Monolith, and its settlement, and with each other. The situation is not yet at boiling point, the recent (though temporary) defeat of the Drow in the tunnels has provided an unexpected lull in which it is...not safe...but opportune, to make a stand without fear of being subdujated by the greater Evil of the Drow. The first Congress has been called to discuss issues of Colonial Importance, and this is where the game starts. You are level 10 characters and have a Stipend of 6,200 GP per month, each (Which will vary depending on the strategic situation). You will also recieve a fund of troops, each, which you can 'spend' on the various hotspots that develop. Your job is not, however, to sit around the table talking while growing rich. Your people expect you to fight for them, what you should 'do' is up to you. Recovering sacred Artifacts, attending diplomatic missions in Absalom/Chelliax/Further afield, fighting on the frontlines, or even carrying out precision strikes are all part of your remit. Dying/Regenning permenantly reduces your Stipend and fund of Troops, unless the group undertakes a particularly challanging mission to build that colonies' faith in their new leader.
