  1. Hello everyone! I am writing this post because i'm curious as to why the new, ( Smithing & Mining ) update has not been added to this website! I have been a faithful user of this website since i was 10! (15 years). I do not think i have ever waited this long for new content to be added! If anyone knows why the new, ( Smithing & Mining ) update has not dropped on this website yet then please feel free to let me know! thanks a million i love all you! Out of all the games i have played throughout my 25 years of playing video games I can honestly say that the RuneScape community is one of the, 'LEAST TOXIC' of all time!!! So thanks again Everyone i will appreciate any info i can get on this!!! <3<3<3
  2. if you have gotten for sold a dragon rider lance in the past few days what did it sell for? And what about the new gwd2 melee dual wield blades go for? Not the range ones. Just curious. Been having a hard time buying since the ge is all screwed up.
  3. The Brotherhood Social & Community The Brotherhood Forum: http://brotherhoodrs.enjin.com https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVdb-oqrZjM The Brotherhood is an Old School Runescape clan that was established in June 2016. Although relatively new, The Brotherhood was founded by previous clan leaders and founders with over 5 years of experience leading. The Brotherhood is made by the members and for the members. Our goal as a clan is to create an environment of commradery for our members and friends and for the Old School Runescape community. To promote this environment we listen to what our members want and we try our best to build a clan that supports those needs. We host a wide range of events ranging from social get-togethers like house parties to PVP clan wars and everything in between. Individual event attendance is not required, so if you prefer social events you can attend those and if you prefer wars and pking you can attend those. We also strongly encourage members to host and lead their own events. DISCORD The Brotherhood Discord Channel: https://discord.gg/0138Nw17Zs4dnUVnH The Brotherhood uses Discord as it's preferred voice chat client. Feel free to join even if you do not use voice chat since it has text built in as well. CLAN CHAT Runescape Clan Chat: The_Bro_Hood This is our primary clan chat. Individual clan chats are sometimes created for events for specific purposes. TWITCH CapnSolesy: https://www.twitch.t...nsolesy/profile CrazyCjay: https://www.twitch.tv/crazylittlecjay Some of our members stream events and their typical game play. Feel free to check them out! Activity Requirements Membership in The Brotherhood is a privilege; it is not granted to all. In order to build and maintain an active community we have certain activity requirements in place. Forum Activity All members must contribute by posting and routinely check The Brotherhood forum for upcoming events, announcements and general clan engagement. The clan forum is The Brotherhood's primary place for posting news and we require our members to actively engage with each other on there. Chat Activity All members should be active in The Brotherhood's clan chat and/or Discord channel while playing Runescape. If you are playing you should be engaging with your fellow clan members. We have no issues with you being in other clan chats or unable to talk in Discord but we would like the majority of your time to be spent with the clan. That's why we are in the clan in the first place. If a member has posted an Away thread this activity requirement can be waived during that time. MEMBER RANKS Community Friend When a new applicant is accepted into The Brotherhood they become a Community Friend and can stay for as long as they like! Community Friends are given the rank of Friend in the Runescape clan chat! Community Member Community Member's Receive a new title showing that they've become a full fledged member of The Brotherhood. Community Member's are granted the rank of Recruit in the Clan Chat. Community Friend's must complete the following in order to attain the "Community Member" Rank. Attend a total of 4 events. Acquire a post count of 30 on our forums OR acquire 500 points in our Discord channel. Have a regular presence in "The_Bro_Hood" Clan Chat. VETERAN Veteran members receive a new rank, title and icon on the forum and receive a higher rank in Clan Chat. They also receive additional preference for future Staff Positions. A Rookie member may request Veteran status once they have met the following requirements: Attend at least 10 events in the past 90 days. Minimum of 1.5 posts per day on the forum. Regular presence in Discord and/or Clan Chat. Have recruited at least 2 members into The Brotherhood. Have led and/or organized at least 2 official events.ELITE Elite members receive a new rank, title and icon on the forum and receive a higher rank in Clan Chat. They also receive additional preference for future Staff Positions. A Veteran member may request Elite status once they have met the following requirements: Attend at least 20 events in the past 90 days. Minimum of 2 posts per day on the forum. Regular presence in Discord and/or Clan Chat. Have recruited at least 5 members in The Brotherhood. Have lead and/or organized at least 5 official events.STAFF POSITIONS When a Staff Position is available it will be posted on the forum for all current members to apply. The current staff members will review all applications and give the position to the most qualified member. RECRUITMENT OFFICER The Recruitment Officer is responsible for managing all areas of recruitment for The Brotherhood. This is the backbone of the clan and an essential position that ensures our brotherhood continues to grow! 6. Ironman ModeOctober 13 2014 Ironman Mode Ironman mode is finally here. Never before have you seen a challenge like it in RuneScape. No help from other players; if you're an ironman, you are on your own. Creating an ironman or ultimate ironman account When creating new accounts, players will be able to find two NPCs on tutorial island and enable ironman mode or ultimate ironman mode on their account. These two NPCs, Paul and Adam, can be found just outside of the Magic Instructor's house at the very end of tutorial island. If you wish to become an ironman, you will be asked to set a bank PIN when enabling ironman mode as a way to protect your account and prevent hijackers disabling your ironman mode. You will be faced with the above screen after talking with either Adam or Paul. If the "permanent" option is enabled you will never be able to disable ironman mode. It is not possible to become an ironman on an account that has completed tutorial island. It is also not possible to become an ultimate ironman from an ironman account. Keep this in mind, there is no going back once you leave Tutorial Island! Ironman rules/limitations After enabling ironman mode on your account you will have a number of restrictions in place. No trading other playersNo picking up drops from other players (including PvP drops)No PvP XP (spell casting experience, splashing, is still gained)Cannot see monster loot if you did not do 100% of the damageAuto aid button locked to offCannot enter other players POH or have players enter their own POH.Cannot buy items from other players through shopsCannot use fishing trawlerUnable to receive items from the party room balloon dropNo staking (dueling is still possible)Players can only use solo nightmare zone and the shop will not sell you resources. Additional ultimate ironman rules/limitations Ultimate ironman accounts will have the following limitations in addition to the standard ironman limitations. Cannot access bankWhen dying you lose all your items It will be possible for ultimate ironman mode accounts to "downgrade" to standard ironman mode accounts if they wish. They can do this by talking to Adam or Paul in Lumbridge. Ironman hiscores Both ironman mode and ultimate ironman mode will have their own dedicated hiscores. This will be a great way to see who the best of the best are. If you no longer wish to go on as an ironman and convert to a standard account, your efforts as an ironman will not be lost. Your stats on the hiscores will be frozen and they will remain for as long as your account exists! Ironman armour You'll be able to identify ironman and ultimate ironman accounts by their unique armour (with both modes having their own set of armour). These sets of armour have the stats of iron armour and, when lost, can be claimed back from the tutors in Lumbridge. Ironman armour Ultimate ironman armour Abandoning ironman mode Ironman mode is an incredibly challenging way to play the game and, for some, they may see the progress they have made on an ironman account and think "hey, this is better than my main" or "I would really love to be able to sell my 17 Armadyl hilts". This is why we will be allowing players to opt-out of ironman mode. You will be able to find Adam and Paul in Lumbridge if you want to revert to a standard account. This will require a bank PIN and will take 7 days to be confirmed. If you become a standard account, you will lose your ironman armour set and your stats in the ironman hiscores will be frozen. In other news... Mod Ash has re-vamped the bank PIN system to make it much more responsive.Items that need to be traded between players during quests can now be used on other players to transfer them. Some bankspace checks have been amended to support Ultimate Iron Man accounts. Discuss this update on our forums. Along with ironman mode, Old School is also seeing the addition of two new members of the team! We would like to welcome Ian Gower and Mod Archie. Ian, not to be confused with Mod Ian, will be joining us as a game engine developer and Mod Archie will be our video journalist. 7. Thread escalation plz. =D> "Give me something to believe in 'Cause I don't believe in you anymore, anymore I wonder if it even makes a difference to try Yeah, so this is goodbye" ~ "Makes Me Wonder", Maroon 5 As some of you may have known, my main account, Mister Sonic, was banned yesterday due to being falsely accused of "macro goldfarming". However, the fact that I don't even use something as simple as mousekeys pretty much means I have never touched a bot in my life. This really made me wonder, what circumstances had happened that caused me to receive the permanent ban? It just doesn't make sense, someone with a 0 blackmark history shouldn't be instantaneously skyrocketing to permban status. So I came up with a bunch of crackpot theories... 1. Jagex did a massive IP sweep for those living in the China region. As we all know, China is infamous for its gold selling on many MMORPG's everywhere, with even more crackpot theories like 24/7 sweatshops or farming on 8 accounts at once. Unfortunately most IP's in China are shared (ever wonder how the Great Firewall of No Facebook/Youtube/Twitter stopped nearly everyone in China from accessing those sites?), and I happen to share an IP from a gold farmer near my region. 2. Jagex may presumably be undergoing another experimental mass-ban which caught a few innocents along the way. Remember the repeatedly spying on a penguin glitch? Which caused like half the community to be banned? I'm thinking that something similar to this is happening to Botany Bay. And somehow, just somehow, I accidentally got caught in the net. 3. Jagex focuses on heavily botted training areas first. Well, the 2 days before I got banned, I was trying to get 89 mining at LRC, which just so happens to have MILLIONS of bots training together at the same time. Probably a WBM or someone similar decided to do a report sweep of everyone he/she sees at the botting site. --- Of course, these are just all theoretical WMG's (Wild Mass Guesses, que TVTropes :3). Seeing how I got banned in the most senseless way, one really gets suspicious of what REALLY goes around when Jagex said they have an "improved" bot detection system. Because if it starts tripping up some false positives, there is already a mechanical flaw in the system. Thoughts? Agree or disagree? You can pass me off as being a whiny permbanned noob, I don't really mind :P
  8. Recently, I had to endure a forum vacation, but that is not what this thread is about, this thread is about where they sent me. When I awoke, I was in a nice clean white room, with nice looking people, they were all acting surprisingly nice to me, they told me about the alternative, where most players sent on vacation are sent, a grueling jail where they are forced to do hard labor, but they said "I was a lucky one." One of the nurses smirked after that was stated, I didn't think anything of it. They told me I would be doing a test, to help better player behavior and perhaps end what they called trolling. They called it the Ludovico treatment, yelps addition. I was given a delicious breakfest, pancakes, with bacon, along side of orange juice. They then told me about the test, they said, all we are going to do is to have me watch a movie. I was first injected on what they would call awakening potions, to ensure I don't fall asleep doing the presentation. They strapped me in, and strapped my eyes open, to ensure I wouldn't miss any of the movie. The movie started, the first scene was about a SOF thread, which was considered spam, they showed me the replies throughout, it was at this point, I started to feel horribly ill, I hadn't realized the "awakening potions" they injected me with was actually some sort of medicine meant to induce sickness. I screamed to stop it again, but they would only turn up the threads reading in response. This procedure continued for 12 more hours, one of the last scenes showed for that day was a hang yelps thread with the "Rainbow Trololo Theme" playing, "I screamed, how could such lovely music be mixed with such violent pain?" By then I realized what the injection was. The doctor stated "I don't know much about music, aside that its great for influencing emotions, but you seem like you would be a strapping young man if you weren't against SOF updates." I screamed, "but SOF updates are causing RWT! They are allowing us to practically buy gold!" The doctor stated, "In due time, you will see the error your way, but I will have you know, that these updates are hurting actual RWTers buisness. Don't forget we are not RWTing as Jagex is not a 3rd party company." The movies ended, and the pain finally wore off, they said, "You have made progress, but we shall continue the treatment tomorrow." All I could think to my self is that I had to endure more of this wretched treatment. They served me dinner, It was an odd one to say the least, it was Cotton Candy Strings, with uncooked apple pies. Odd, but I was just delighted to finally be away from the treatment. I went to bed soon after. Later that night however something odd happened, I heard a thread about the problems of Sgs, I had no medicine injected in me this time, but I felt the same type of pain as if I was injected, I didn't understand what was happening, I fell out of bed and started to scream. Eventually the reading stopped, I thought I heard a laugh, but It was likely my imagination. I went back to sleep, undisturbed. The next days treatment was very similiar, I had to endure the same pain, as the first day of treatment, It was horrible, as usual, however, after the treatment was over, just thinking about negativity against the SOF caused great pain, I was confused. The third day came, and they told me, there will be no injection today, they had some special guests this time as well, Mod MMG, Mod Mark, Mod Emily, and a few forum moderators were all their to witness my third and final day of treatment. The doctor told the moderators about the treatment. He stated "With it, we can ensure all trolls become passive, and we can ensure that the 10% who don't already support SOF, will now support it! The doctor was excited. He mentioned also about the medcine injected into me, and how I would no longer need it, and because of that trolls, as he called them, could now be controlled. The treatment started, I started to feel the intense pain again of the last two treatments, but realized what has happened, I realized the treament was sucessful, and I could no longer state my opinions about SOF. I was no longer a free man. I began to cry in sheer pity. The Mod MMG, and the rest of the Jagex staff who attended were quite excited. The Forum Moderators were disgusted, one passed out, another one began to cry, realizing that they may have gone too far, Jagex reassured they were doing fine. As the proceedure continued, the Forum Moderators left the the room, while the Jagex Moderators watched in excitement. The procedure finally ended. Mod MMG, then asked, "I see this works very well, but how much will it cost?" The doctor stated "It is cheap as can be, with it, we shall ensure no troll will troll our forums ever again!" Mod MMG, and the other Jagex Moderators looked satisfied. The doctors then released me out onto the forums again, where I tell my story about where I was taken during my forum vacation.
  9. Hello! I am new here and earlier today I came up with this extremely efficient method of killing the heralded waterfiend (level 155), post EoC, through the use of the quick action bar thingy that assigns functions to keyboard buttons. My relevant stats are: 71 ranged, 99 defence, 80 something constitution yielding some 7600 life points. The required amount of capital is no more than 150k total when starting from scratch. My load out, and of course interchangeable with any other equipment preferred, is: Royal Dragonhide top, bottom and vambraces, Helm of Neitiznot, Ava's backpack (varied from person to person), amulet of glory, ring of wealth, rock climbing boots, dual rune crossbows, and regular adamant bolts. In this method, we will make use of the ranged special abilities of: binding shot, piercing shot, fragmenting shot, sometimes snapshot, but lastly and most importantly, the ultimate ability, deadshot. Given the recharge times on the abilities, it is most efficient (in terms of most damage dealt verses time) to attack with the abilities quickly and in the consecutive order of: binding, piercing, fragmenting, and spamming piercing shot until deadshot is attainable. The combination of binding shot followed by piercing shot followed by fragmenting followed by piercing shots again exponentially outweighs the damage dealt through the traditional auto attack also at a fraction of the time. In addition, this method quickly fills up the adrenaline bar to reach the ultimate ability of deadshot. When executing this method, it would be most beneficial to perform deadshot on a waterfiend of fairly high health as the ability will, if it hits, deal immense amounts of damage that have averaged, as I have observed, at least 70% of the waterfiend's maximum health. Even if it does not make contact, spamming piercing shot quickly compensates for this and in virtually no time can deadshot be performed again. In a scenario where a waterfiend has a little too much health but not so much as to merit deadshot, snapshot comes into play and can quickly cut down on that extra health to a more reasonably low level and speed up the kill, especially since snapshot takes 2 piercing shots to recover from its adrenaline deduction. This method, once you have gained momentum, and by momentum I mean the adrenaline bar is constantly fluctuating from the deadshots and constant combo-ing, kills mount up rapidly and it eventually becomes a problem when it comes to trying to pick up the loot. This is where the quick action bar (it's what I'm calling it, the proper name escapes me, its the bar that has 10 boxes on each row that can be assigned to a specific function and linked to a specific key on the keyboard) comes into play. Utilizing this, you can keep one hand on the mouse and the other on the keyboard, executing the combo or any move in general and gather the loot at the same time. To do this, I recommend assigning the combo abiltiies (binding, piercing, fragmenting, shots) to relatively nearby keys (W, 2, and 3, respectively, work fine for me) and doing so allows me to easily execute the combo to fill up the adrenaline bar to the point where I can reach over to key 5 or 6 for snapshot, if necessary, or deadshot. The royal dragonhide armor costs virtually nothing (only 400ish gp above 20k), the crossbows cost virtually nothing (no more than 20k for both), the adamant bolts cost virtually nothing (82 gp each, 8.2k for 1000), the helmet costs virtually nothing (less than 30k), the rock climbing boots cost almost virtually nothing (less than 50k) and both the amulet of glory and ring of wealth cost virtually nothing (less than 12k each). Food wise, anything works, though, with a set up like this, the waterfiends hit so lightly, lots of food is negligible; just for reference, monkfish are 180 gp each, sharks are around 300 gp each. Even nothing but prayer potions and going off the low-drain 2x health regeneration prayer in the regular prayer book and resting provides compensation for the waterfiends' hits. The brutal green dragons I cannot even consider an issue, that is, until Jagex figures out the insane amounts of bots swarming them and totally annihilating them within 10 seconds of spawning. With a strategy like this, waterfiends continues to prove itself as one of the absolute best methods of charm farming (or regular training if that's what you're looking for). Heck, today was the very first time I have ever fought waterfiends, and after I had compiled this strategy earlier tonight, waterfiends have secured the position as the number one method for crimson charm farming due to the ease and simplicity of slaying. I wrote this at 2:45 in the morning, there's bound to be some sort of error or discrepancy or plain blibber-blabber stuff that makes no sense. Please reply back or send me a private message (if this forum has those, I donno, I just came right here right after I registered) if you have any comments, questions, concerns, or anything at all. Have a nice day :3

I saved up 10m for this thing they call "bond" now it has an option to "change character name" or become a "member" and getting "runecoins" right? I was wondering, I logged on to runescape website then it says there i can only change my character name if im a member. If i use the bond for 14 day membership will i still be allowed to change my character name? or not? from, mr. boomtastic

  15. Hi, I'm just going to be posting some achievements on my pure f2p account: Adrael. 85 took me about 2 and a half weeks mining at the dwarven mines Ores after 85 mining. :)
  16. One of the rewards from the new Dimension of Disaster quest is an upgraded Darklight, and a commonly asked question I have seen today is: Is this upgrade worth doing the quest for? To answer this question, I decided to take my upgraded Darklight to Kal'Gerion Demons, and compare it to a Drygore Rapier. The factors I've measured are the number of seconds it takes to kill the demon, and how much damage was inflicted on my character during each fight. I also decided to take an additional sampling of kills where I performed Darklight's special attack, which is also upgraded to reduce the demon target's stats by 15%. Here is the raw data used in making this video; there is a noticeable trend, despite the small sample size: I definitely noticed a definite increase in accuracy and kill speed with the Enhanced Darklight over a Drygore Rapier. IMO, this is a reward worth getting if you plan to kill demons or do a lot of slayer. What do you think? Worth getting? Have you tried it yet? Let me know in this thread.
  17. Runescape used to be very much involved with their players, letting us vote on the changes we wanted instead of just adding them. I feel like nowadays, as the world economy plummets, their focus has shifted to only gaining new players and increasing membership fees for more money. The opposite will be happening most likely as players are quitting the game and they are losing money. The only thing Jagex really can do is almost rewind their updates back to before the armor update and start letting players vote on content again. The SoF and Solomon's general store are of no concern to me because I honestly can't really care how people will spend their hard earned dollars on spins that rarely give anything good or cosmetic items with no real value. But the rest of runescape should be focused on what the players really want. Jagex, bring back voting!
  18. Table of Contents 1.0 Introduction 2.0 The Plutonial Chinchompa 3.0 "Location Location Location" 4.0 Portals 5.0 Inside the Big Chinchompa D&D 6.0 The Hunter XP and Level 7.0 Rewards and Competence Points Introduction The new Big Chinchompa D&D for the Hunter skill was a recent update made by Jagex in 8/28/12. This Hunter update was anticipated byplayers all over runescape who had at least some interest in the Hunter skill.Players from all over Runescape can help Nyriki make the giant creature go to sleep. This Distraction and Diversion game includes a plush-like Plutonial Chinchompa trapped in a pit-like cage and players collect moths within in the area to feed it to the Chinchompa to make it go to sleep. The point of the D&D is to help Nyriki, a gnome who desires to hunt big game, capture these rare giant beasts. Now, the weakness of a giant fluffy Plutonial Chinchompa is of course the soporith moths. The soporith moths come in different colors and all a player needs to do is to catch these moths and feed them to the Plutonial Chinchompa. Feeding the Plutonial Chinchompa with soporith moths will cause it to take a nap and that's it! You have done your part to help Nyriki and the game ends. The Plutonial Chinchompa The Plutonial Chinchompa is a giant grey chinchompa whose weakness are the different colored moths that can be caught by players. There are REQUIRED Hunter levels ( Ranging from Level 1-91 ) to participate in this event making this a Distractions and Diversion game for Hunters all around Runescape, beginner or professional! Don't get caught up with the cuteness of the Giant Chinchompa though! Remember, your task is to help make the creature fall asleep! "Location Location Location" Nyriki will appear in different Hunter areas all over Runescape. The easiest way to find him would be to use the Orange Portal in Mieliki's shop. Mieliki's shop is located on the South East part of The Gnome Tree Stronghold. The Orange Portal will lead you to where Nyriki is currently Hunting. The Orange portal, however, has a limit use of 3 per day. This limit use resets the same time that the Squeal of Fortune resets at 1 AM GMT- 0. Portals There are a total of 6 Portals: 5 Green Portals and 1 Orange Portal. •The Orange Portal As mentioned awhile ago the Orange portal will lead you to where Nyriki is hunting and that is also where you can start this D&D. • The Green Portals are as follows: - Pawya - Polar Kebbit - Grenwall - Red Chinchompa - Swamp Lizards These portals will lead to a "private" Hunter spot for each specific creature. You can "invite" your friends to these Hunter spots, so basically there could be anyone there. You need "Tickets" in order to be able to catch these Hunter creatures. Please note that the creatures will take some time to respawn the moment you step into that portal. Give it a good 10 seconds and the Hunted will be there to spawn. 1 Ticket = 1 Catch ¤ This is the limit set. You NEED 1 Ticket to be able to do 1 catch. Inside the Big Chinchompa D&D In the game you are required to catch moths and Nyriki will provide you with the jar that you'll use to store the moths in. • Once entered the hole, pick a Protea flower from the South East side of the game. - The Protea flower (when wielded) will help you attract moths better. When standing near another player while wielding this flower you can help them attract the moths a lot more! • The game ends in 20 minutes OR when you put the Plutonial Chinchompa to sleep. And then you will be rewarded with "competence points." ¤ • ¤ There is a 40 MINUTE WAIT after each game ¤ • ¤ • Players can use the NPC Contact spell ( Magic Level 67 ) to contact Meiliki and find out when and where the next game is going to start. • Players can obtain Strange Rocks from this D&D. Credit to: Angry Assuie • Players can obtain Spin Tickets from this D&D • You do not get XP when catching a Moth. Instead the XP is rewarded when you RELEASE the moth(s) into the Cage where the Plutonial Chinchompa is. The XP varies and depends on what moths you have in your jar the moment you release them into the Cage. • There is a meter that will appear on the left side of your screen letting you know how close or how far you are at making the Plutonial Chinchompa sleep. • MOTH JAR: There is also a picture of the Moth Jar on the top left corner of your screen. This lets you know how many moths and which kinds you have stored in your jar. The limit of how many moths you can have in your jar is 15 at a time. After 15 you must release your moths into the cage. • GAME LIMITE PER DAY: The D&D event can be played only TWICE A DAY until the game resets again at 1 AM GMT-0. Simliar reset time as the Squeal of Fortune. The Hunter XP and Level You do not get XP when catching a Moth. Instead the XP is rewarded when you RELEASE the moth(s) into the Cage where the Plutonial Chinchompas. The XP varies and depends on what moths you have in your jar the moment you release them into the Cage. Players can also trade their "competence points" for Hunter XP, but be aware the trade is 1:1 ratio. Here are the Required Hunter Level for each Moth: • Black Soporith Moth: Level 91 Hunter • Grey Soporith Moth: Level 78 Hunter • Purple Soporith Moth: Level 65 Hunter • Blue Soporith Moth: Level 52 Hunter • Green Soporith Moth: Level 39 Hunter • Yellow Soporith Moth: Level 26 Hunter • Orange Moth: Level 13 Hunter • Red Moth: Level 1 Hunter Here is the information regarding how much XP and Points you get per Moth when you RELEASE them into the cage for the Plutonial Chinchompa to eat!• • Black Soporith Moth: 450 XP [ 21 Points ] • Grey Soporith Moth: 400 XP [ 18 Points ] • Purple Soporith Moth: 320 XP [ 15 Points ] • Blue Soporith Moth: 300 XP [12 Points ] • Green Soporith Moth: 250 XP [ 8 Points ] • Yellow Soporith Moth: 150 XP [ 5 Points ] • Orange Moth: 50 XP [ 2 Points ] • Red Moth: 15 XP [1 Point ] Rewards and Competence Points Competence Points are awarded after each game. You can exchhange your competence points for Rewards by talking to Nyriki or by going to Mieliki's shop. Here is a list of the featured rewards: • Protea Flower - 1 Point • Swamp Toad - 24 Points • Flax - 2 points • Swamp Tar - 8 Points • 5 Hunter XP - 1 Point • Changes has been made, it used to be 1 XP per 1 Point. ¤ Swamp Lizard Quota Ticket (Lvl 29) - 4 Points each ¤ Red Chinchompa Quota Ticket (Lvl 63) - 6 Points each ¤ Pawya Quota Ticket (Lvl 66) - 8 Points each ¤ Polar Kebbit Quota Ticket (Lvl 70) - 15 Points each ¤ Grenwall Quota Ticket (Lvl 77) - 10 Points each Remember that you need 1 Ticket to catch 1 creature in any of the "private" Hunter spots. Also keep in mind that these spots are not very "private," other players may enter if they wish to and can share that spot with you.
  19. Ugh, I've made another blog. -About Me Alright, well in the slight chance you DON'T know who I am, I'm Brendan. Or Nomad.... or Starman. 20. Perhaps someone else has already posted this (came up with over 1000 hits when searching), but just in case here is my 2 cents worth. Thanks to Jagex's introduction of the Lodestone teleports.... Suggested equipment: Any & all Wicked Gear, Boots of Lightness, Pouches. Start at Burthorpe Bank Chest, Equip (if you have) the Wicked gear & Boots, fill up on Pure Essence (including any pouches you may have), Teleport to the Port Sarim Lodestone, run North East and travel to Entrana (FREE), Run North East to the Law Altar, & Craft your Runes, Teleport back to the Burthorpe Lodestone & Start all over again. This way is very fast, and uses no Runes or charges (on Jewellery). Once again, this has all been made possible by Jagex introducing Lodestone Teleports.
  21. It seems that a certain mod on the Runescape Recent Udpate forums have gone lock happy pertaining threads about the recent SOF change which allows you to convert your prize into Runescape gold. What are your thoughts about this update, and what are your thoughts on the certain corrupt mod?
  22. Alright, so I did Dream Mentor yesterday and saw some differences between the quest guide here, and the in-game quest journal. (I did send a message on facebook about the updates because I forgot the website had forums) Anyways For starters, the required combat level is now 120, not 85. Next, I'm not sure if this changes from person to person, but the monsters you have to kill have had their levels changed. (At least for me) here are the levels: The Inadequacy: 140 The Everlasting: 134 The Untouchable: 140 The Illusive: 2 Hope it helps :) RS name: XPWasting (Private is on friends, join Age of Ancients clan chat to talk with me, or my friends chat.)
  23. From what I understand (using the combat triangle)... If your opponent is using magic, you should wear ranged armour. If your opponent is using ranged, you should wear melee armour. So... If your opponent is using melee, you should wear... magic armour? That doesn't seem right.
  24. I'm attempting to find the best monster to train on in F2P for ranged. I'm specifically looking for those weak to arrows (Catablepons, for example, are only weak to bolts). So far all I've found is Wizards, but you can't effectively train on those because of low/slow spawns. ---------- General question: What criteria is used to find efficient monsters now? Should I seek out the highest leveled monsters? It appears the best method of training now is finding monsters that are weak to the type of combat you're using (if this isn't truly the case, feel free to give me tips otherwise). ----- I'm also currently compiling a list of monsters and their weaknesses, visit here if you'd like to contribute. ---------- EDIT: I've answered my own question through some research, the answer is: Greater Demon: 29-30k xp/hr Hellhound: 29-30k xp/hr Lesser Demon: 29-30k xp/hr (24k xp/hr with momentum, weird huh?) Ghost: 28k xp/hr Warped bat: 28k xp/hr Deadly red spider: 26k xp/hr Flesh Crawer: 26k Catablepon: 24-25k xp/hr Hill Giant: 18k-20k xp/hr Giant spider: 17k xp/hr (not crazy-accurate, just good enough for comparisons; some of those stronger monsters won't actually be those values as you may have to bank/rejuvenate often [for example, I originally had deadly red spiders as 40k but when training on them I found they were actually 26k because of so much interruption)
