Leesters Posted April 3, 2007 Share Posted April 3, 2007 Sometimes a hidden update will make me very happy. I've been waiting for a drill demon random event for a year now. He just never showed up. Have gotten the other randoms hundreds of times, but never that Drill Demon. My house is missing one outfit. Camo. But as some of you may have noticed today, the Drill Demon is out of hibernation. Time to do your exercises, players, because he's baaaack! I'm assuming there was a bug or program error that has been hanging around for awhile now taking the Drill Demon out of the random dice. I assume they fixed it. Thank you Jagex. I need my camo. Two pieces in one day. Did you get your camo today? A circus in Runescape?? Oh my. REMEMBER RUNESCAPE KARMA! I've had full camo for a while now, but I haven't gotten the event in a long long time. jonno53 Posted April 3, 2007 Share Posted April 3, 2007 lol i have only ever had 2 drill demons :( i got full emotes, full zombie (dropped before costume room ) and SO MANY SPINACH ROLLS (i should try collecting) those two drill demons were when the camo was still tradable, i got like 300k for top and bottom \ . never had since... *edit* oh yeah, i got like 20 tele error in 30 lunar teles yesterday (collecting snape for ppots). i hate it when you get a tonne of randoms in one go... (sorry for the off topicness) killing off the TET, one newb at a time :^_^:im cutting back on rs now due to rl issues (college), my sig stats havent been updated in a while... After you have the full set housed, getting him is rather annoying. Not as annoying as having the Freaky Forester 12 times in total though.. Maybe some day I too can dream to fill more of my costume room. *Stares off into distance* Meh, at the moment all I have in there is a couple of capes, all of the holiday stuff and a few magic outfits. They must have increased the chances of getting a Drill demon, but I can't believe some people have never had mimes, I sometimes have 2/3 mines a day. Until I decided to alch 1k gaming necklaces last week (enchanting them is a pian by the way). 3 Drills and 2 mimes. Oh well, I have all random costumes+emotes now so I'm happy. Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks. rft Posted April 3, 2007 Share Posted April 3, 2007 Well I got a drill demon recently, but I also got one about a month back, so I reckon that the frequency has just increased of him turning up rather than not at all. Mind you, in the 2+ years that I have been playing, I have only ever had 2 mimes and irritatingly still dont have all the emotes. Some people seem to get them all the time, but alas not I. I keep getting the 'Odd one Out' quiz show. Grr.
