Muse - "Plug In Baby"

We're up to 1 good song then.

If there's one song that will force me to buy GH:5, it's this one.

Muse = WIN on so many levels.

And it's good to see they're finally putting a CoB track on the main setlist, although I would've preferred Needled or Silent Night, Bodom Night.

No, they should have had Are You Dead Yet. (Unless it was already on something else)

If I remember correctly it was a DLC for RB2.

Muse - "Plug In Baby"

We're up to 1 good song then.

I'd say three. Plug In Baby; Vampire Weekend: A-Punk; Sublime: What I Got.

Five. Lithium (live) and the spirit of the Radio (live).

Ring of Fire, Under Pressure, Superstition, Steady As She Goes, Wolf Like Me, All Along the Watchtower, You Give Love A Bad Name, Fame, Feel Good Inc., 21st Century Schizoid Man, Do You Feel Like We Do, Jailbreak, Runnin' Down A Dream, Back Round.

You people are insane if you can only find five good songs on there. I didn't even list the "meh" ones, like Wanna Be in LA.

Ring of Fire, Under Pressure, etc. may be good songs, but aren't fit for a GH game.

Exactly, a lot of songs are "good" songs but aren't good songs for GH.

You guys seem to be forgetting that GH is a full band game now.

So? RB2 is a full game. And their DLC rarely dissapoints.

And the RB2 disk setlist was amazing.

Speak for yourselves. There's a ton of DLC that I would never touch simply because it's not worth paying for.

I could also name a decent amount of songs from the lower end of the on-disc setlist that were not worth putting on the game.

My point was that these songs are not designed to cater specifically to guitar anymore. The last Muse song on GH was nothing but a boring strum-fest, yet Plug-In Baby is the "one good song"? Give me a break. If you're looking for good guitar songs, something tells me you haven't heard a lot of them. Twenty-first Century Schizoid Man is an orgasm of prog-rock. Someone already said Spirit of Radio. Jailbreak. Undoubtedly the metal songs will be good to play, if not my kind of music.

I'm not exactly thrilled with the setlist either but I'm trying to give it a fair chance.

That was me who said Spirit of the Radio. :D

3:33-4:16 is the BEST piece of music ever written. The rest of the song kicks [wagon] too. Goodness I love Rush, but should I pay for the game just for this one amazing song? Meh I hope Rock Band just releases it as DLC.

I really don't like Van Halen, though the other songs aren't bad. Too many repeats from other games though.

I am SO FRIKKIN CLOSE to a Master Exploder FC. I can never hit those stupid YB chords with [garden tool]/pos in the third solo in a real run. But I can FC the whole solo five times in a row in practice. GAH.

I can never do the chord changes in that song, the strumming - fine, the solos - fine it's just those bloody chord changes :s

Aw, crap! GH:VH has Sick, Sick, Sick AND Best of You?! Now I really do have to buy it! I don't want to! :(

ALSO. Important news! GH:WT and RB2 bundles have (permanently, I believe) dropped to $99! That's for all consoles, people. So if you ever wanted either or both games, now is the time! It might not last forever (but it probably will). Gotta clear out shelf space for all their new games, I guess.

Since they have just recently allowed PayPal as an option to use to my MS points I have been loading up on the DLC. Bought most of the Mayhem pack and a lot of other songs. Hammer Smashed Face is so much fun on drums.

So I finally bought Rock Band 2... used the Unlock All cheat because I'm currently too lazy to do career.

FCs thus far:

#1 Master Exploder - 12th - 202,586 - The third solo was mildly annoying, but easy enough overall

#2 Spoonman - 20th - 163,286 - Sightread FCed, then played it once more and reFCed for a higher score - I have not yet missed a note in this song ;) .

#3 Ace of Spades '08 - 11th - 132,314 - FCed and ReFCed twice for better score, first FC was 132,076, second was 132,062.

Currently playing around with Panic Attack - so far my best is 99%, need to practice the solo.

B:RB will be the greatest thing that's occured for a very long time.

Not really. The beatles are the last band one would think to be in a music game. It ruins the whole "modern" feel of the game.

That, and I just can't see the game being difficult at all. The music will be alright, but I would get bored after a while.

Is Harminox doing something similar to Guitar Hero (Aerosmith, Metallica, Van Halen) and having different artists as well as the Beatles on it?

What? No.

I don't see how there's supposed to be a 'modern' feel to the game. The game is about music, and the Beatles are legendary for their music. What will make the game bad, in my opinion, is that a music game dedicated to individual bands aren't for the masses, their for the good fans of the band that can listen to nothing but the band's music all year round. B:RB doesn't bring anything new other than songs, which is quite easily solved through DLC.

This is just a cash grab as far as I can see.

There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,

and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. That

regret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new,

better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret.

It's experience.
