Have you ever done something stupid that almost got you kill

Going inside the desert bandit bar with no armor and a god cape. barely escaped.

 

 

 

pretty much anytime i have ever stepped into the wild with more than 3 items on. (i have lose a whip before)

 

 

 

most of the time when i do barrows i switch over to clan forums or tip.it forums. when i switch back, its usually me with 12 hp left and them with half of their hp left. I havent died at barrows from switching screens yet....

 

 

 

trying to bind and earth wave damis. that didnt turn out too well. (died with connection loss.)

 

 

 

once i was getting hides at green dragons north west of edge and someone was trying to pk me. they tbed me and another was using ancients. great >.< I run south, eventually hit the monestary. they were following me because i had no food, 12 hp left, and 6 poisoned. well i was hit with 6 poison and brought down to 6 hp, then the poison weakened to 5, my retribution prayer kicked in. im up to 16 hp. i eventually get down to 1 hp again and my rol kicks in. he dosnt know where i teleport to. so i run up one of the towers in lumby and die. i respawn and get all my stuff back. it was probebly the craziest thing that has ever happened.

My friend almost got killed by the blue dragon. Somebody was hiding outside the cage and as he went in to get the drops my friend kept shutting the door on him. Then some gp spawned and he went to go grab it but the dragon spawned and atked him. The guy who he kept shutting the door on did the same thing to him and he got hit a 40-20 and I took him to the hiding spot. He had a whip with him lol.

This is my topic. I'm always doing something stupid.

 

 

 

Quite a few I've survived: trying to use Ancients at barrows with ice rush (ring of life saved me against Verac), casting ice burst too early against Dharok when he was redbarred (luckily, that cast killed him), taking on Verac face to face with slayer dart and Veracs (was saved with 1 hp left), and that's all I can think of at the moment (I'm reckless at barrows).

 

 

 

As for the ones that have killed me: running out of prayer against Dharok (he hit a nice 45), trying to run from Karil, but running across the room and not eating or praying, and (just yesterday) was Dharoking black demons, took one step too far, had prayer off, and got hit 10. I respawned in Falador, rushed back like a madman, and managed to save dharok helm, guthix cloak, and sara stole.

Well, I ran through all of the giant spiders with 6HP left and a spider hit a 5 and I thought I was dead, but I saw I had 1HP left.

Worst was (a long time ago) deciding I wanted to get a lot of magic lvls at the blue dragons in the ogre enclave, not thinking about how I could just bring some of the runes since I'd have to bank (I'd spent most of my money on 19k chaos runes and 57k air runes to use there, brought them all), then wondering what would happen if I attacked an ogre shaman... :oops:

 

 

 

I don't remember how fast I died, but I remember getting back and the guy who got my stuff lied about getting it (I wish he'd just told me, even if he kept it), then logged out. And the nice p-mod at the next dragon over hadn't even seen I was there, and they might have given my stuff back :cry:

 

 

 

Needless to say, I'm a bit more careful to master those urges now, and to not take more materials than I need :lol:

Several times during monkey madness, desert treasure and mournings end part 2, waiting for guthans to heal me (I'm paranoid about monsters getting lucky twice)

 

Times I've actually died:

 

Karil while lagging

Hoping to not have to use another dose on karil

 

Hoping to not have to use another dose on guthan

 

Hoping to not have to use another dose on dharok

 

Poison from tribesman (I was new to members, tried running for shilo)

 

Not paying attention while killing moss giants*2

 

Not paying attention while killing trolls

 

Trying to snare/claws of guthix damis

 

Abyss rcing in full rune with no tele

 

Panicing while doing freminik isles quest and forgot to put on prayer

 

During monkey madness demon*2

 

Ran out of prayer on ape atoll (post quest)

 

Trying to kill a shade in al-kharid palace.

 

 

 

Thats all I can remember, there would've been lots more, so as you may have noticed I die lots

Forgot to switch back to the anti-dragon shield from my newly bought addy kite shield that cost me 15k. I think he hit me for 49. I allso brought almost everything I owned into the Contact! quest. Lost values around 1.3m

Lol I had 0 prayer and I wanted to die to get my prayer back, so I ran into the abbyss with my glory not remembering that the abbyss takes away prayer... and yeah... you know. :P

After my long absence from the game I was unaware of the latest PKing techniques. While I was at the Green Dragons a Pker came and attacked me, I have plenty of food left so I thought I'd tease him a little before tele-ing out. He gets me down to around 24 HP and whips out a DDS (the 's' aspect of it was completely unknown to me at the time, I left before the new poisons). I have never clicked on the ectophial so fast.

 

 

 

Got a hilarious PM message from him afterwards. He seemed to think he deserved my anti-drag shield and a load of hides and lobsters simply because I just stood there and took the damage... muppet.

Personally, a few wekks (days?) ago when world 60 went offline, I was running away from blk drags (hallying them in a safe spot), but right as I lagged out I was not in the safe spot :oops:

 

 

 

when I got back on I discoverd I was back in the safe spot and was very very (repeat) happy. Then my mommy called, I left the comp for phone, but stupid me, thoguht I found a new safe spot, but it wasn't, I died from the drags and lost blk mask, quest cape, d hally... :cry:

When i was level 50 i tried to kill elvarg for dragon slayer only after i attacked him i forgot to put my antidragon shield on and i got hit a 37 then died. i lost my full addy and addy t kite. i quit the game for like a week but then i returned and pulverised him in my revenge!

One time my sister called me up, and I left the room to talk to her. However I apperentlyforgot to log out, and forgot the hobgoblins would remain agreesive at my level for another 10 minutes. Few mintues later I come back with 12 hits, and my full rune on, which was just about all I had at the time.

My Story: I was a level 21 and descided to try and reach the end of the F2P Wilderness. I did it, but almost got killed by the Greater Demons in the Demonic Ruins. I thought that i could tele to Lumby but ot would not work until i was in level 20 or less wilderness. I had 10 HP and no food. So I ran for my life, and half way there my prayer points went out. A mob of players attacked me, but luckly I ran fast enough and used the land for cover. At level 20 i teled to Lumby and that is my most stupidest, yet coolest events that has happened to me.
