Azurechaos' Huge Barrows Guide!

Azurechaos

Recommended Posts

Here's a guide on every barrows method I've made with the help of Mebera & Drasyka.

We're finally releasing them.

Basics:

[hide=Recommendations]Recommendations before you attempt my methods:

1. Have some cash to spend on the things needed (see below)

2. Do these quests: In Search of the Myreque, and In Aid of the Myreque.

3. Have a basic understanding of how not to die.

4. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE COMMON SENSE!

5. Know your limitations. Don't go out and die trying what you see here.

Level/Skill Minimums:

50 Con - House telly and Chapel.

55 Slayer - The Dart is fast, effective and you get your runes back

43+ Prayer - The higher the better.

70+ Mage - Much lower and you'll splash too much/hit low.

60+ Range - I'd recommend 70+ personally. But 60+ works.

70+ Att, Str and Def - You'll be meleeing Karil and Tunnel Monsters for KC.

Here are my stats for those of you interested:

[hide=Safespots]

There are two different types of safespots, a 'ladder' safespot, and the rock safespots.

I will start out with the ladder safespots.

This is in the North western tunnel room. (Notice there is no ladder)

07apr05194036ox2.png

This safespot is a maybe safespot. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. (It is to the left of the first ladder safespot.)

07apr05194154si1.png

This rock safespot is right below the above safespot, in a side 'hallway' tunnel. This is a good spot to force spawn (will be explained later.) because there is also a ladder safespot on the other side of the door.

07apr05194241tn7.png

Also, there is a ladder safespot in the middle of the room adjacent to this hallway. I just can't find pic.

This safespot is in the northern hall way tunnel.

07apr05194506ym1.png

This next room which is right next to the above room is the most prefered place to force spawn.

07apr05194524uc0.png

This next huge rock has several different ways too do it. I listed one.

07apr05194549ux3.png

This safespot is right next to the room with the Huge rock in it.

07apr05194653wq2.png

This safespot is in the same hallway, but below that safespot.

07apr05194731fl7.png

This is the ladder safespot next to the safespot above.

Here's a link to Saruman44's Barrows guide, from which I used his safespots![/hide]

[hide=Kill Count]I have had many questions about what KC I use.

12.

It's no secret, 12 KC has worked the best for me period.[/hide]

[hide=How to get fast, cheap prayer pots for what will be described]Requirements:

60 Slayer (to kill Abberant Spectres)

61+ agility (not req, but recommended for the chain climb)

High prayer helps (60+ maybe...)

GEAR:

Monkfish (personal favorite):

ScreenShot080.png

Basically, all you do is go the the slayer tower that's in canifis, go up the [bleep]e chain or walk all the way around, go to the Spectres and kill them.

When you run out of food, start using prayer till you're out.

Once out of prayer too, just walk back to the bank.

They drop a TON of herbs, so just repeat until you have the desired # of ranarrs. It's easy, cheap and profitable.

Prayer:

ScreenShot081.png

Prayer is basically the same... just instead of food, you have ppots. Just pray till you need to leave.[/hide]

The Methods:

[hide=!!~~NEW~~!! The Godsword Melee Void Method - Personal Favorite (1-2 chests/trip)]The Godsword method is the fastest by far (I have personally 2-hit Dharok numerous times), but when paired with Melee Void, you're simply eating through your enemies.

These are the Godswords, their shorthand names, full names and effects:

AGS = Armadyl Godsword (spec effect is "The Judgment" inflicts +25% more damage - HALF SPEC DRAIN)

BGS = Bandos Godsword (spec effect is "Warstrike" +10% damage and lowers opponent defense equal to damage dealt - FULL SPEC DRAIN)

SGS = Saradomin Godsword (spec effect is "Healing Blade" restores half of the damage dealt to your Hitpoints and a quarter to your Prayer. You will receive a minimum of 10 Hitpoints and 5 Prayer - HALF SPEC DRAIN)

ZGS = Zamorak Godsword (spec effect is "Ice Cleave" freezes your opponent for 20 seconds - HALF SPEC DRAIN)

Here are a few recommendations and requirements for stats and equipment.

Required:

80+ Attack, Strength and Defense

60+ Prayer

Any Godsword

Melee Void

Recommended:

90+ Attack, Strength and Defense

70+ Prayer (piety when speccing)

Saradomin Godsword (recommended for its spec)

Now, here's the equipment you will need:

08Mar08-101119.png

Alternatives:

BEST -> OKAY -> NOT RECOMMENDED

Gear:

Melee Void -> NOTHING (this is GS-MV method remember?)

Godsword -> NOTHING (this is GS-MV method remember?)

Fury Amulet -> God Stole -> Glory -> Strength Ammy

Fire Cape -> Skill Cape (t) -> Skill Cape (ut) -> God Cloak

Dragon Boots -> Rune Boots

Warrior Ring -> Berserker Ring -> ROL -> Wealth -> Your "lucky" ring

Inventory:

Dragon Halberd -> NOTHING (will explain later)

Super Attack -> Combat Potion -> Regular Attack pot

REGULAR Strength Potion -> Super Strength Pot(cheaper and not much difference)

Super Defense -> NOTHING (you need the boost)

Emergency Pray Pot -> NOTHING

Monkfish -> Lobsters -> Sharks (you will have hella leftovers for any food)

Home Telly Runes -> Home Telly Tab

SPADE!!! -> SPADE!!!!! -> Hammer

Now, I'll assume you read the tabs above this one and already know some of the basics of Barrows. If not, then I recommend you read the above tabs and learn a bit more about this place before you go there. Melee Void is a [bleep] to lose.

Once at the entrance, here is the killing order I use and the explaination:

ScreenShot5440253.png

BLACK: Dharok. Always. Goes. First. Otherwise, you may not have prayer, and he will treat your Void as paper. If you have a BGS or AGS, use the spec(s) now. If you have ZGS or SGS, do not use the spec(s). JUST INCASE IT WASN'T CLEAR, PRAY ON DHAROK TILL YOU SEE HIM FALL OVER DEAD. IF YOU REMOVE PRAYER WHEN HE'S REDBARRED, YOU MAY SEE AN UGLY RED 55 ON YOUR FACE.

BROWN: Karil is much like Dharok in the sense that void is not much to stop his arrows. Typically I have between 58-76 prayer points after visiting Dharok, so I visit Karil next and pray. If you have a SGS, use 1 spec to get some extra prayer from Karil.

GREEN: Verac he hits pretty hard, so I use what little leftover prayer I have from Karil on him. Also, since the Super Defense pot is normally still fresh by the time I'm on him, I get a little extra protection.

LIGHT BLUE: Torag is a wimp. Just beat the hell out of him and move on. If you have ZGS, use 1 spec on him to avoid any possible damage.

DARK BLUE: Guthan is basically a wimp, but he may get a lucky heal off you. Nothing more than a nuisance. If using ZGS, use your other spec on him to avoid damage.

ORANGE: Ahrim should ALWAYS be last when you use melee at barrows. His attacks lower your attack, strength and defense. If you're using SGS, use your other spec on him to get some prayer and extra health.

Now, one of the above brothers will be your Tunnel Brother. Depending on which it is, just move on to the next and proceed as normal. If you have a Dharok tunnel, this is when you get to make use of that halberd.

WHEN DHAROK IS A TUNNEL:

Go down into the tunnels, like the fearless adventurer you are.

STAY IN THIS ROOM WITH THE VISIBLE LADDER.

Locate the one door that can be opened from this room and go through it and back until you spawn Dharok. In a perfect world he will spawn in the room with the ladder, but if he doesn't just run away till he disappears and try again.

Once you get him to spawn in the room with your visible ladder, hit him once and then WALK over to where the visible ladder is. Get him stuck behind it and the beat him to death with your halberd. It won't take long and you will have saved a prayer potion.

I will get some pics soon to show what this should look like.

After you kill Dharok, proceed through to the Chest room door and solve the puzzle. Get KC if you want, then loot. After looting, check the floor for any items that might have fallen from a full inventory then tele to your house. Restore prayer at your altar, and then use your Canifis tele portal.

Lather, rinse and repeat.

WHEN DHAROK IS NOT A TUNNEL: Then proceed through the tunnels and locate your Chest room door. Solve the simple puzzle and spawn your brother at the chest (assuming he doesn't spawn on the way to it). No need to use your hally. Just beat the hell out of the brother with your GS, eating when needed.

Get KC if you want, then loot. After looting, check the floor for any items that might have fallen from a full inventory then tele to your house. Restore prayer at your altar, and then use your Canifis tele portal.

Lather, rinse and repeat.

Thanks for reading, please post any comments suggestions or mistakes you have or I may have made.

NOW GO BEAT THE HELL OUT OF SOME BROTHERS![/hide]

[hide=The Monkfish Dart Method - Recommended (3 chests/trip)]This is an awesome method. I get 3 chests per trip on 1 ppot and just monks. Here's how:

THE STUFF:

07Jun15-10-1.png

Alternatives:

BEST -> OKAY -> NOT RECOMMENDED

GEAR:

Helm of Neitznot -> Veracs Helm -> Warrior -> Berserker -> Rune

Amulet of Fury -> Glory -> God Stole -> Unholy Symbol -> Holy Symbol

99 (t) Cape/Fire Cape -> God Cloak -> 99 (ut)/Quest Cape -> Obby -> Legends

Bolt Racks (if using xbow) -> None (from using crystal bow) -> Rune

Slayer Staff -> None

Rune Defender -> D Shield -> Obby Shield -> Crystal Shield

Ahrims Top -> Mystic Top -> Other Mage Top

Veracs Skirt -> Torags Legs -> Rune Legs

Beacon Ring -> Seers Ring -> Life -> Your "lucky" ring :wink:

Barrows Gloves -> Dragon Gloves -> Any RFD Gloves -> Klanks/Cooking

Infinity Boots -> Rune Boots

INVENTORY:

BEST -> OKAY -> NOT RECOMMENDED

Whip -> D scimitar

DDS -> D Long/D Mace

Reg Def Pot -> Super def

1 P pot -> 1 super restore

Veracs body -> Dh body = Torags body = Guthans body -> Rune Body

Xbow -> C Bow -> MSB

Karils top & legs -> Blk Hide top and bottom -> any other hide

Monkfish -> Sharks

Runes -> nothing

SPADE!!!!!!

House tellies (if you have a chapel/kharill telly there) -> Ecto

ONCE YOU'RE AT BARROWS:

Dharok first. ALWAYS. Use your prayer there while wearing the ahrims top & V skirt. DON'T USE YOUR DEF POT YET!

Next is Karil. Use your leftover prayer here. But first switch to DH plate incase your prayer runs out. DDS him then switch to your whip. He'll die fast.

Following is Ahrim. Switch to your range gear and use any left over prayer. He too will die fast. 15 racks on average for me.

Verac is next. Instead of wearing AH top, use DH plate. SIP YOUR DEF POT. Go down and kill him. You may have leftover prayer, so use that if you do.

Go down to Torags mound and kill him with your ahrims top on. He may get a lucky 20, but it's not often.

Same for Guthan. Go kill him with Ahrim top on. IF he seems to be hacking and hits for a lot of heal, just use your DH top. Sometimes he gives me a spot of trouble.

Now, depending on who your tunnel was, you may have to change things up. Just follow that general order. It's worked best for me.

From the tunnel you're set. If your tunnel is a melee brother, spawn him on one of the safespots shown above from Saruman's guide. Once your brother is spawned and dead, get your "lucky" KC (mines 12) and loot your chest.

Typically if I get an item, I telly and bank.

If not, run back to your ladder and go up.

Here is where it gets a bit tricky.

Walk over to Dharoks mound and DO NOT POT OR ANYTHING.

Go down and click on the crypt to see if he's your tunnel or a mound.

IF DHAROK IS YOUR TUNNEL:

Equip your melee gear and walk to Karils Mound. Prepare your dds, take 1 sip of ppot and go down. Pray vs Karil till he's dead. Depending on how well you hit, you may or may not have leftover prayer.

Go up and kill Ahrim with your range gear and any leftover prayer you have. DO NOT REPOT IF YOU RUN OUT OF PRAYER.

Just eat if he hits.

After Ahrim continue as normal till you get back to the tunnel.

Go down and spawn DH in your visible ladder room by walking back and forth between your open door, or just safespot him any other way. DO NOT PRAY, IT IS A WASTE IN THE TUNNELS.

IF DHAROK IS A MOUND: Put on your mage gear and set the dart up. TAKE 2 SIPS OF PPOT.

Go down, click on the crypt, and kill him.

Once he's dead, go and kill the other brothers as normal.

At first you may get only 2 trips out of your supplies, but it's pretty easy to get 3. Once you're out of supplies, telly to your house, get prayer at your chapel, and reset in Canifis.

Easy as pie.[/hide]

THE ONLY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THIS METHOD AND THE MONKFISH-DART WITH PRAYER POTS IS THE NUMBER OF TRIPS PER TELLY AND YOU WILL TELLY AFTER LOOTING THE CHEST. IN MY OPINION, THIS METHOD IS NOT VERY USEFUL, AS YOU WASTE A LOT OF TIME TRYING TO GET BACK TO BARROWS. NOT TO MENTION, THE RUNES FROM THE CHEST ALONE MAKE A PPOT WORTHWHILE. I'M JUST ADDING THIS PART FOR THE HECK OF IT LOL.

For killing the brothers and stuff, follow the same protocol as the original monkfish-dart method.[/hide]

[hide=The Veracs Method (2-3 chests/trip)]Now. Here's what your inventory & equipment should look like:

07Jun15-10.png

Don't worry, I have never died there, so it's okay to take the best stuff possible. Barrows = easy.

EQUIPMENT EXPLAINATION & ALTERNATIVES

Best -> Okay -> Not Recommended

Veracs Helm -> nothing, needed to kill the brothers

Veracs Brassard -> nothing, needed to kill the brothers

Veracs Skirt -> nothing, needed to kill the brothers

Veracs Flail -> nothing, needed to kill the brothers

Fury -> Glory -> God Stole -> Unholy symbol -> Holy Symbol

99 (t) Cape/Fire Cape -> God Cloak -> 99 (ut)/Quest Cape -> Obby -> Legends

Barrows Gloves -> Dragon Gloves -> Any RFD Glove -> Klanks/Cooking

Rune Boots -> Climbing Boots

Berserker Ring -> Life Ring

INVENTORY EXPLAINATION & ALTERNATIVES

Best -> Okay -> Not Recommended

Whip (for killing Karil) -> Dragon Scimitar

Dragon Shield -> Crystal Shield -> Obsidian Shield

Dragon Dagger (for killing Ahrim &/or Karil) -> D Mace/D long

Prayer Potion(4) x2 -> Super Restore(4)

Super Set -> Combat Potion & Defence Potion (for lvls 110+, but Super Set is still better)

Monkfish (95+ Combat) -> Sharks

Home Teleport Tablets -> Ectophial -> Elf Crystal(3)

Spade -> NOTHING!

The order I kill in:

DHAROK - MELEE Brother #1

To start off, stand on top of Dharoks Tomb. Before you dig, check and see if your prayer is full. If not, pot up, if yes, then proceed to use Super Set. Once you've Setted, dig. Put on Melee Protection Prayer. Click his tomb. If he shows up, attack him. MAKE SURE YOU ALWAYS HAVE PRAYER LEFT, ESPECIALLY WHEN HE GETS LOW!!! After you kill him, exit the tomb.

KARIL - The RANGE Brother

Once out of the tomb, equip your Whip & Crystal Shield. Run over to Karils tomb and dig. Click on his tomb. Use any leftover prayer here. Karil hax. . Attack him and he should die fast. Eat when needed. Once he's dead, exit the tomb.

VERAC - MELEE Borther #2

Once up, run over to Veracs tomb. Dig and click the tomb. Use any leftover prayer on him. Attack him and eat when needed. once he's dead, exit the tomb.

GUTHAN - MELEE Brother #3

After you are above ground, proceed to Guthans spot. Dig into his mound. Click on his tomb once you're in there, and attack him. DO NOT PRAY. He's the easiest to kill. Eat if needed. Once he's dead, exit the tomb.

TORAG - MELEE Melee Brother #4

Find Torags mound and dig in. Click on his tomb. If he shows up, kill him. He can get some lucky hits once in a while, so watch out. Eat when needed. Once he's dead, exit the tomb.

AHRIM - The MAGE Brother

Now, for Ahrim. Since you're wearing armor, he can be kinda tricky. This is how I kill him: Stand on his mound and make sure you have about 20 prayer left. If not, take a sip of your potion. Once you do, equip your DDS. No shield. Dig in. TURN ON MAGE PROTECTION. Click his mound. If he's there, DDS spec him all 4 times. Then switch to your Flail and beat him with it. If he's not dead by the time your prayer runs out, then don't take another sip. Just switch to a whip or keep using flail. Eat when needed.[/hide]

[hide=My Sekkrit Method (8 chests/trip)]This is the first time I'm telling ANYONE about this method. I hope you enjoy.

The Gear:

07Jun15-11.png

I really recommend using everything exactly as I have it... it's good.

The 1 chaos and 1 blood are placeholders for your rune loot.

Explaination:

Basically the same as my Monkfish guide, but you use Saras to heal up.

When you heal, use the REGULAR restore pot to get your stats back. The super restore is for prayer. Typically I wait to heal up until I can use 3-4 doses. Then I quaff a sara and regular up. Works wonders.

Use the order of killing brothers as detailed in the Monkfish portion of this method.[/hide]

[hide=The Tunnel Method (MANY chests/trip)]Before I get into the gear, there is ONE THING NEEDED.

A COMPLETE knowledge of ALL the safespots. You'll be spawning all 4 melee brothers in the tunnel to kill them there, saving prayer and food.

Gear:

07Jun15-10-1.png

OR

07Jun15-11.png

Same gear as Monkfish + Sekkrit method, but here's the twist.

Instead of killing the brothers the traditional way, inside they're crypts, you'll be using the tunnel safespots to kill them.

NOW, before you go down into the tunnel, go and kill Ahrim & Karil using the methods described above. If they're your tunnels, no worries. Just kill them as they come.

If you have enough leftover prayer from killing Ahrim and Karil, go kill one of the melee brothers. If you don't have enough prayer, don't sweat it, just find where your tunnel is and go down.

Once down there, you MUST HAVE AN INTIMATE KNOWLEDGE OF SAFESPOTS! Thats the entire reason you're down here.

After you spawn one, keep going until you kill them all.

That's basically it. :uhh:[/hide]

[hide=The Ancients Method (4-6 chests/trip)]I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU GET 82 MAGE FOR THIS METHOD. Ice Blitz is the best spell for this.

Gear:

07Jun17-18.png

The main idea of Ancienting is to hit as hard and as fast as possible. HIGH mage attack bonus is required.

Explaination & Alternatives:

Epuipment:

Ahrims Hood -> Farseer Helm -> Mystic Hood -> Splitbark Helm

Ahrims Top -> Mystic Top -> Splitbark Top

Ahrims Robeskirt -> Mystic Skirt -> Splitbarks Legs

God Mage Cape -> 99 (t) Cape/Fire Cape -> God Cloak -> 99 (ut)/Quest Cape -> Obby -> Legends

Racks -> None (crystal bow) -> Rune Arrows (msb)

Fury -> Glory -> Stole

Ancient Staff -> Water Staff

Unholy Book -> MTA Mage Book -> Sara/Guth Book

Barrows Gloves -> Dragon Gloves -> Any RFD Gloves -> Klanks/Cooking

Infinity Boots -> Mystic Boots -> Split Boots

Seers Ring -> Beacon Ring -> Life Ring

Inventory:

Whip -> D Scimitar -> D long

Karils Top & Bottom -> Blk Hide top & bottom -> Any hides

Xbow -> Crystal Bow -> MSB

DDS -> Mace -> D Long

1 P Pot -> 1 Super Restore

Monkfish -> Sharks

Home Telly (highly recommend you get a chapel/Kharyll portal) -> Ecto

Ice/Blood Blitz runes -> Ice/Blood Burst runes

SPADE!!!!!!!

Now, you could you the Sara/Super Restore method like this, but I'd not recommend it. With monks you'll last a while.

NOW, here's the biggest change:

DO NOT KILL DHAROK FIRST.

You'll be icing him and running, so he won't be able to hit you.

THIS IS WHY I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ICE BLITZ. Any lower and he'll be able to run at you too often, making it harder to kill him.

Now: Here's the order of killing & the explaination:

Karil-

He hax. It's as simple as that. I always pray vs him. He's the only brother that's dropped me below 20 hp. So, just equip your DDS, pray Range and DDS him with 4 specs, then finish with the whip.

Ahrim-

The only other ranged attack brother. Prayer is useful here for saving monks. Equip Karils top & bottom + Xbow and kill him. He'll fall fast.

Dharok-

Use any left over prayer here. What you have to utilize is the corners of the crypts. (I'll add pics soon).

Ice him then run as far away from him as possible. Count to 12 or so then run to the opposite side of the crypt he's on. Here's a small diagram (Pics coming soon...)

........................|||||||||| <--- Ladder

...X......................<---- Y

...|......___________.....|

...|.../..................\...|

...|..|This is a Crypt..|..|

...x...\____________/...y

....................................

You are 'X' and Dharok is 'Y'.

After about 12 seconds run down to 'x', getting him trapped at 'y'.

That may be a little rough, but it's the general idea.

After he's stuck at 'y', wait a few seconds before icing him again.

He'll have a temporary immunity to the ice effect (which is uncool) <--- Pun intended.

Do this same thing for Verac, Torag & Guthan.

Once you're in the tunnel, prepare to spawn your brother at the chest.

Do a similar thing as the crypt blocking method, but using the Chest as a blocker instead of the crypt.

NOTE: This style of barrowing will take a bit of getting used to.[/hide]

Great guide but what I don't understand is the need of Ahrim's robetop with the Verac Plateskirt. I manage fine with negative mage bonus and deal the same damage with and without positive mage attack bonus. Perhaps you should swap it for maybe a more...prayer giving bonus.

I've been testing and testing that and found I hit higher more consistently and splash less with Ahrims Top + Veracs skirt than any other setup. Perhaps if you're below 80 def or so, a Veracs Brassard might be better because of the def bonuses, but for my def, Ahrims top owns.

Thanks for the feedback. :)

nice guide.

i did the tunnel method once, took a pretty long time lol. they refused to spawn XD that was, until verac and dharok spawned at same time. momentarily stunned, then safespotted. still good

I'm gonna be walking down an alley in varrock, and walka is going to walk up to me in a trench coat and say "psst.. hey man, wanna buy some sara brew"

walka92- retired with 99 in attack, strength, defence, health, magic, ranged, prayer and herblore and 137 combat. some day i may return to claim 138 combat, but alas, that time has not yet come

On the slayer staff monkfish method, you have beacon ring as your choice, the lunar ring is slightly better. (Soz just had to say something other than good guide :thumbsup: )

Good guide anyway, although your "sekkrit" method isn't as original as you would think. :-w O:)

I see by your guide using veracs, you kill verac second, but dont pray, why waste all the good prayer left after killing dharok?

I suppose after the first run, this method would be fine but for the first run you have plenty enough prayer usually to kill dharok, karil and sometimes a third brother.

maybe you should factor this into your guide.

And I'm sure other have used the sara/sup restore method. :wink:

I just like calling it sekkrit. ::'

Very good point. I wrote most of that guide a while ago.

I think I'll update it a bit soon. :oops:

also, barrows is still very dangerous, and while you may not have died, it is very easy to die if you aren't careful/random things happen like lagging. I highly recommend a ring of life.

Ring of life doesn't 100% guarantee living. I personally would recommend what I recommended. :wink:

I'd only use a ring of life if none of my other options were possible.

But, if you're a lower level (perhaps about lvl 90) a ring of life might be a safer option.

Erm... That Verac guide does NOT last more then one trip unless you are 115+ cmb lvl.

Also, Azure, you no wuv Saru?? Saru made a barrows guide already, and it pwns this.

Also, shame on you Azure for not putting in an rol for a barrows guide. EVERYONE SHOULD BRING AN ROL UNLESS YOU ARE VERY EXPERIENCED AT BARROWS. Seems you must want a lot of dead bodies dude.

EDIT: Umm, I hope I'm not to hard on you... I mean, its a decent guide, just not the best. And at least you used grammar. :thumbsup:

That veracs method there does last me 3 runs. :wink:

Used to use it all the time.

And yes, your guide owns, but I just thought I'd share my methods.

I did put ROL, but only after some of the better available rings.

Our opinions obviously differ on that. :P

In my opinion, a ROL is a last ditch ring. Not a first choice.

N ya i luv grmmr it r p00n.

Thanks for the feedback bud. <3:

in the case of barrows, a ring of life is pretty much useless as the brothers tend to hit really hard or not at all, so if your in the position that the ring is even a factor...chances your going to die anyway or already dead id say use it for for your first ever run but after you get used to it you should be fine, im only lvl 91 combat and haven't used it since the beginning to be honest, :-w but thats just me

good guide lol , i got a trip or two at a lower combat lv then most people who play barrows. Yea, can't say the reward was worth it but i did it :wink: . Sweet guide, keep it getting better and better especially for the pures and other low def people.

Thanks. My guide is more aimed at people with a higher prayer, so typically pures aren't the best things to use with this guide. :wink:

Nice guide :D

I've had Veracs armour for a while, and had been looking for a good guide that could help me get started with that particular method. Your guide defenitly helped me :)

Glad to be of service. :D

Mebera taught me some great tips about Veracing, which I'm passing on.

With some changes, of course. :wink:

Thanks for the feedback and good luck barrowing!
