gunshafted Posted January 31, 2005 Share Posted January 31, 2005 I know jagex hides a lot of little jokes in runescape, and i just wanted to open this post to see if anyone has any abstract jokes they like to keep to themselves! share the humour! i found these three that i find pretty funny: 1. iron sickle examine: "not as good as a pet frog!" 2. wheat examine: " baby bread." 3. sailor in miscellania examine: " he's strong to the finish, because he eats cabbage." continuing from these three, ive decided to post all funny examines that have been posted twice or more on this thread: 4. (this 1 made me laugh) slayer cave examine: wow! it's a guinea pig! no wait, its a cave... 5. (for nebody who has as sick as mind as i do, think about this:) rock crabs: "nobody likes crabs..." lol, and jagex is telling US to behave! 6. Wildy capes: "ooo look at all the perty colours..." 7. (this joke owns!) Examiner: upon examining the examiner you examine it is indeed an examiner. 8. hellhounds: "hello, nice doggy..." 9. Head chef in lumbridge castle: "despite his name, he does not cook heads..." 10. baker in ardy market "very well, but wheres the butcher and the candlestick maker?" 11. apple pie: "mmm apple pie" half an apple pie: "mmm half an apple pie" 12. fish stall in relekka: "fishtastic!" 13. (another found by me) lvl 1 sharks out at deep sea (can be spotted in the harbours of karamja jungle) "let's not go skinny-dipping eh?" 14. Granite maul Examine: "simplicity is the bext weapon." 15. cannon balls in new quest: "I'd better leave his expensive dwarven balls alone" 16. fern examine (found in multiple places) "is this weed?" before i go on, i know some of them are funny, but can we please keep this clean so it doesn't get locked and stop bumping jokes of the male lower anatomy... you know what i mean... 17. rubber chicken "not the most powerful weapon in runescape" 18. [bleep]ed slayer helm examine: "you DON'T want to wear this inside-out!" 19. Bed in ali the hags house: "look! it's a goldfish! no, wait, it's a bed..." 20. in the golem quest, after you took the statuette, examine the display cabinet and it will say: "one of the sculpures are missing. Oh yes, that was me!" credit goes to zyx for that 1, funny! 21. miyajima donated these: Snail (dead): "The slimy corpse of a deceased giant snail". Snail (cooked): "A succulently slimy slice of sumptious snail". Snail (burnt): "A slightly over-sauteed snail". 22.crawling hands; "now THAT's handy!", "Give me five, acctually don't..." thx to Dr_skirus for them 23. abyssal leeches: "a monster that sucks really hard" 24. ogre trader: "funnily enough, he doesnt actually buy or sell ogres" (thx pure_arch_jr) 25. The Lumberjack in the miscillania Maples: "He's a lumberjack and he's okay!" (various people) 26. Bouncer, found in Relleka: "He's fat, he's round, he bounces on the ground, thats how he got his job." (thx "noone") 27. spinning blades in brimhaven agility dungeon: "makes sliced human" (jjbok) 28. piglet in Draynor: "i shall call him "mini-pig"." Theres also another one, the baby moles in fally: "i shall call him "mini-mole"." 29. pie dish: "deceptively pie shaped" (good one henk333) 30. most warhammers: "i dont think its intended for joinery" (good eye flame313) 31. Customs Officer: "Inspects people's packages." (thx raiden2k2) 32. Mouse Toy: "An Advanced Combat Training Device" (manoman) 33. Mummies In Desert Tresure Pyramid: "Highly Flammable!" (i dont get it, but thx mazurizi) 34. Wooden spoon from recipie for disaster: "spooooooon!" (scorpion999) 35. spatula also from the quest: "spatula... od dooom!" (scorpion999) 36. Zombie shirt: "aside from the braaaaains on the lapel, its still quite good. (scorpion999) Skeletal jokes: (apparently, jages thinks long term death is funny, and have hidden a joke in almost every single skeletal figure in the game, here are the load that have been posted:) 1. corpses outside of canifis castle: "how do you make a skeleton laugh?" "tickle his funny bone!" 2. Dragon bones: "these would feed a dog for months!" 3. burnt/normal bones: "bones are for burying!" (notice at this point that almost every "joke" has an exceamation mark in it...) 4. corpse jokes: "he hasn't eaten in a loooong time..." "he looks relaxed!" "he looks very relaxed..." skeleton around ectoplasm:"i'm sure he died of natural causes, like a massive dragon or somthing..."(lol) charred bones:"i dont even want to think about what did that..." pile of skulls: "desturbing, but tidy..." corpses in the vecinity of port phasmatus (sp?): "i don't think he'd mind me checking for his wallet now..."
