I don't care what the hell you say. F2P will always be poorer. Lol F2P for life. Can't afford 5 bucks?

I was merely joking around

By the way, if you put a large amount of cash into the party chest, does it come out in a full pile when you pull the lever, or does it split into smaller lumps?

Full pile :(

And, I think none of the F2P Tiffers are selfish newbs -- at least not the higher-post-counters (because they've had time to change)

Matt: You want that eh? You want everything good for you. You want everything that's--falls off garbage can

Camera guy: Whoa, haha, are you okay dude?

Matt: You want anything funny that happens, don't you?

Camera guy: still laughing

Matt: You want the funny shit that happens here and there, you think it comes out of your [bleep]ing [wagon] pushes garbage can down, don't you? You think it's funny? It comes out of here! running towards Camera guy

Camera guy: runs away still laughing

Matt: You think the funny comes out of your mother[bleep]ing creativity? Comes out of Satan, mother[bleep]er! nn--ngh! pushes Camera guy down

Camera guy: Hoooholy [bleep]!

Matt: FUNNY ISN'T REAL! FUNNY ISN'T REAL!

I'm f2p, and honestly I think that the party room has brought out a lot of kindness in members. A lot of members have that whole, "oh f2p is poor and newby so I'll treat them like junk" stereotype. The members I personally have met who have that stereotype about f2p are very arrogant, so I tend to be more wary of members. I AM NOT saying all or even most members are arrogant, but I have had quite a few bad experiences.

After the party room update i went to the w57 party room to find 4 members, all in woodcutting skill capes and rares or whips, putting in 50k+, sets of full rune, and hosting a quiz party. They were giving out 50k just to answer a simple question, such as "what is my favorite color?" or "what year did Santa hats come out?" It made me happy to see such generosity, it was great to see the low levels yelling "OMG rune full helm!" Sure, I don't know if they came for laughs at the noobs, but when I thanked each of them, they seemed genuine in the reasons they came.

Thank you everyone who came and donated good stuff, it may not be much to you but it means a lot to the people who picked the stuff up.

I guess cause I never saw the need. I also felt that if I moved into the version of the game that was always changing that it would in some way invalidate the work that I had already put into my account.

I just went undercover as a f2p player and decided to drop some color gloves in the party hall.

About 90% of the players were mad because they kept getting junk and not rare items or tons of gps. Which means theres still going to be begging. Jagex just added the party hall, because they manage to play under the lag of the ads. I guess they all thought that they can go there and find tons of gps, but are disapointed. Some are hating the update. Meh, they don't deserve it, if their going to complain about just getting 4gps or because they just got a beer glass.

They don't appericate this update. <.<

thats because almost everyone there are the former beggars, who now think "hey, instead of asking people for money, now theyll just give it to me.", and who for some reason dont realize that people arent going to just give away full rune now because its a "party room". i think most of ftp isnt ungrateful, but its not like it changes anything, except its a better place to hold a party. so while im glad ftp got an update, i really wouldnt care if we hadnt, which is what i think the majority of ftpers think.

lmao just think how excited they would all have been to get a bronze plate! I remember not caring about stats/money/the usual all i cared about was how cool my black armour/wooden shield/air staff/yellow cape looked! This was well before the days of the snazzy fancy boots from Secuirty Stronghold... Ahhh such simple times. :boohoo:

the problem with putting the party room in f2p is all the beggars. in members, the party room was always empty, so you could go there with your friends and have fun, and only 1 or 2 more people will show up. but in f2p, there are so many people there that's the fun is limited unless you want to give to everyone.

yeah, i can see that being a real problem when i try to have my 1k total drop party. however, my point still remains that most of ftp are not like those people, because if they were, there would be 1000 people on every ftp server in the party room chanting "free rune pl0x". in a way, this is good, because now most of the beggars should stop begging random people and just go to the party room.

Alright, I think this thread has had enough. I created this because people wanted to see what types of things would be dropped at a F2P party. Obviously I wanted to throw some humour in there, but I've started 6+ pages of arguing. Honestly, I think it's a good idea to give the non-members things that we members don't use, things like Spears, Claws, and Hallies (limited to Rune and under of course). I'm not saying all F2P

s are poor, a lot of my non-member friends (and I have a decent amount) have quite a bit of money.

And I'm well aware that the party hall was rarely used in Seer's Village. And hell, it was actually a little fun when I was at the party.

we can't give those things that you mentioned to f2pers....

and of course not all f2pers are bored, it's a generalization, and a lot of f2pers have more money than members, if not total worths. it's because they can't throw away their money as easily as we can.

I know you can't give those to Non-Members, but I think that Jagex should put them into F2P and enable Non-Members to use them. Have you ever seen people walking around With Claws? Or Spears? Or anything under Rune Hally?

i highly doubt that they would use them, the preferred weapons are fast but high strength, and none of those have that. i think some of them would use claws, and the people who use 2hers might use hallies, but spears would just go overlooked. besides, the only way they would have access to them is through members, and we've all seen what happens when items go through members to f2pers. prices skyrocket, and that will make these weapons impractical. i see no problem with giving the weapons to them, but it will be something they don't like, and i fear they won't be grateful.

Well you have to admit that the stuff in there is going to be considerably less expensive as compared to members. I only play f2p, because honestly I don't play enough to warrant paying $5 a month. So, please don't stereotype all f2p'ers by saying they're noobs that only talk in 1337-5p34k. But anyway back on topic, I only have about 300k because the one of the only ways to make money is yew trees (and they are bot-filled). We f2p'ers don't have the ways to make tons of money, like fletching, the expensive drops, and Treasure Trail rewards. Because of that, I don't have the millions to justify giving away expensive things like runes armor and weapons, considering that it's worth about 20% of my net worth. Also, as many have said, it's really only the noobs or the new players that are there. Well, some of the "junk" like bronze items, can actually really help newer players have a more enjoyable time starting out in Runescape (Admit it, starting out can be pretty tough). I still don't get though why we got this update instead of things that we need (*cough*bankspace*cough*), but whatever floats your boat Jagex... -.-

i cant speak for all ftpers, but i would definitly use hallies, because then you can safespot, and i would probly get some claws/spears just for the look. if jagex did something like that, which would be a massive update by ftp standards, i would be very very greatful and happy. while i dont think jagex will do that, it is a pretty good idea, as like the party room, they are not really used by anyone. kinda like the TT items, but these would have real use.

Might just be me but I know f2p has lot's of beggers and such but f2p having the party room seems too good to be true for f2p'ers, since all of members resources come from f2p it's good to see that f2p can go crazier then usual at the party room then lumby.

Don't you know the first rule of MMO's? Anyone higher level than you has no life, and anyone lower than you is a noob.

People in OT eat glass when they are bored.

well i dont think ftp creates all the members resources, and its not really too good to be true, as its a pretty small update, although huge for ftp, but anyway, yeah, now we can partay round the clock.

The f2p party room is just like a venus noob trap, pretty soon the doors are only going to open from the outside. You've been warned.

Seriouly though-

Its great for lower lvls to go their and have some fun and its being used now. Of coarse its not going to have great stuff in it, when was their good stuff in members in it? Also I think it will be good for the next tip.it drop party.

It's the second time I see you say something negative about F2pers,

you must really hate us, now why don't you just keep your stupid

opinions in your little head and don't insult F2pers.

I got a solution for that and I think Jagex have thought about that too,

Jagex gave you something where you can't get disturbed, where you can

have your own parties/meetings without anyone being able to disturb,

that thing is called Player Owned Houses (POH's).

It's funny to see how some of you make fun of F2Pers saying how they are all noobs not realizing some f2pers have more exp in one skill than you in total and are definitely richer than you.

Second thing than annoys me are those who call F2Pers immature by writing something like "oMG!! u G0t A S4Ph!!!! r3P0rT3d f0R iT3M Sc4Mm1Ng!!! U H4xxorD jAg3X!!! iM 4 MOd iM G0nN4 R3P0rt u!!!!! mI Ma1Nz G0nN4 pK U 1N D4 w1LDy!!!!!!" which makes them hypocrites.

Third thing that annoys me is all those people who correct each other's grammar and spelling without realizing their grammar and spelling isn't better.

Example:

Guy1: i like the update jegex made

Guy2: Its Jagex not Jegex lern to spell

^It's very common on these forums.

:wall:

End transmission.
