Its rare for me to see ANYBODY with a numberless name in game. maybe like 2-3 out of 100 while im walking around. I'm f2p if that might make a difference... Its one thing to have zhangsen001,002,003 etc.. but to name your main character PKerD000de1523 is completely different. nothing wrong with it, I just dont get it. I thought that maybe the only reason my name(s) were unique was because they werent any good. So I asked those in the 'Rate This' forum to rate my names. Instead of rating, they all just posted their names. I enjoyed reading them, and wanted to see more. I want to stress that just because a name doesnt have any numbers in it doesnt mean its any good. And, equally important, just because a name does have numbers doesnt necessarily mean its bad. [/hide] Do you have a name you think is clever? Are you proud of your numberless name? It seems through these postings that the number problem is much more apparent in-game. Faelenof Posted August 12, 2007 Share Posted August 12, 2007 My main's name, Faelenof, is quite simply made up. :P Used to be a protagonist in an abandoned novel of mine, thought it sounded cool, and so here I am. I just know I detest numbers in names. :D But, my not-really-used-pure is Faelsafe, a name I actually adore: one, because it implies my main, and two, because it sounds the same as the word 'failsafe', which is a "secondary system that insures continued operation even if the primary system fails" (quoted from dictionary.reference.com).
