indy500fan
75 minute long classes with 1 hour lunch and 10 minute breaks in between. 75 minutes dosen't seem long enough most of the time. Try a four hour class, now that is a long one. Especially after a day of work and then having to go home right after class to get in bed to get up early the next day for work. forsaken
Year 12, My days aren't scheduled nicely so I'll just list the subjects I do. 1. Legal Studies [2 units] 2. Advanced Mathematics [2 units] 3. Extension 1 Mathematics [1 unit] 4. Advanced English [2 units] 5. Extension 1 English [1 unit] 6. Physics [2 units] Brief explanation of units: In the state of New South Wales, Australia, we have something called the 'High School Certificate' [HSC]. This is a series of tests on your chosen subjects at the end of year 12 which contribute to something called your University Admission Index [uAI]. Effectively what occurs is that you can get a UAI from 0-100. 100 meaning top of the state, 0 being bottom etc. This UAI is calculated from your best 10 units [as you can see, I only do 10 units - but you can do 12/13/14 if you want to, but the best 10 are chosen] comparative to everyone else's best 10 units. Just in case anyone was wondering that. *whistles* I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours."

So, I'm suppose to go talk to my school counselor to re-arrange my schedule so I don't have 2 study halls, but I'm not gonna. 2 study halls sound good to me. :XD:
assassin_696
I understand nothing about the American/Canadian/Australian system, so for any Brits i'm going into 6th form (year 12) this year, not sure what that is equivalent to. Meh. Maths Further Maths Physics Chemistry Economics I've no idea what my actual schedule will be until I get back to school, it's different every day for a two week cycle. I think I get about 1 free every two week cycle (meep) and i'm doing sport as well each week every wednesday afternoon. I think I get about 1 free every two week cycle (meep) and i'm doing sport as well each week every wednesday afternoon. It's my second year of 6th form this year. Last year I took the bold 3 along with Geography but dropped maths halfway through the year through being behind, lazyness and a lack of intelligence. Be prepared for alot of work in that (I wasnt). I found physics to be relatively easy, especially the first module (if your on AQA). Economics is also not too hard although my school seems intent on picking out the most boring exam board but still very interesting at times. As for my schedule, I think it will be a gruelling 12 hours a week of lessons to attend. : No idea why but we do 5 hours per week per subject at AS but only 4 at A level. I'm guessing that we will have more work to do outside lessons and be expected to revise more. I've got to go in tomorrow to confirm my options and then I start properly on Thursday. :)
