assassin_696
I understand nothing about the American/Canadian/Australian system, so for any Brits i'm going into 6th form (year 12) this year, not sure what that is equivalent to. Meh. Maths Further Maths Physics Chemistry Economics I've no idea what my actual schedule will be until I get back to school, it's different every day for a two week cycle. I think I get about 1 free every two week cycle (meep) and i'm doing sport as well each week every wednesday afternoon. It's my second year of 6th form this year. Last year I took the bold 3 along with Geography but dropped maths halfway through the year through being behind, lazyness and a lack of intelligence. Be prepared for alot of work in that (I wasnt). I found physics to be relatively easy, especially the first module (if your on AQA). Economics is also not too hard although my school seems intent on picking out the most boring exam board but still very interesting at times. As for my schedule, I think it will be a gruelling 12 hours a week of lessons to attend. : No idea why but we do 5 hours per week per subject at AS but only 4 at A level. I'm guessing that we will have more work to do outside lessons and be expected to revise more. I've got to go in tomorrow to confirm my options and then I start properly on Thursday. :) Not sure what exam board we use for each, hopefully a good one. Just got my timetable today, i've got one free every two week cycle :XD: Triple maths on somedays. Rebdragon
Anyone else get HW on the first day? only 10 minutes of math, so meh. Pfft, I had to read 80 pages out of a play on my first day of school. On the first day I also had over an hour of Calculus homework, another hour of AP Physics, had to write a two page paper for World Religions, and had to read a chapter for Economics. Supplemented by book cover requests, forms, and buying specific school supplies for certain classes. Oh, and I had to walk uphill both ways to and from school, 5 miles in a freezing blizzard. [Okay, the last part isn't true]. [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. warri0r45
2nd semester, 1st year Uni. Classes all relate to biology or chemistry. 5 days a week, all mornings (two 8am starts, two 9am starts, one 10am start). If I don't have a prac class on, which is most days, I'm generally always home by 11am-1pm. I have motivational issues and this is evidenced by my favourite part of the day - buying food and leaving. When you only meet 16 times every session is important. In my internet class I got my homework for the entire semester the first day. Just has a list of about 100 assignments, due Dec. 15 :D . I should start I guess, it's been three weeks...
