mrmyk
Static electricity...try rubbing something like paper towel quite hard against your finger, it should give it a charge...but why would you want to do that? Ragen
If you've got a plastic slide, then going down that sometimes works. If I remember correctly, wearing nylon tracksuits help get you charged up. Thanks Venomai for this super sig and Kwimbob for the awesome avatar! As soon as i put my finger tips on the door, I get a lovely zap. :(   Chances are, where you live it's less humid than usual. When you move around on the car seats you build up a static charge, then you touch metal to close the door and the static charge is trasferred from you to the door. It's a good idea to touch something metal before fueling your car as well to reduce the risk of a static charge igniting the fuel. meol
I know I'm going a bit off-topic, but a couple of years ago I was randomly getting such static shocks when touching some things, like metallic beds, cars, TV's, some doorknobs, soccer goals, and even once when I touched another guy's elbow. This all lasted for around 2 weeks, and I was starting to fear everything electronic or metallic. :uhh: However, I have no idea what might have caused it. This signature is intentionally left blank.
