IF you're getting hit just the the special move upwards. It'll usually get you you out of nasty situations. Also try moving around the space stations (although this can be dangerous).

Another good tactic is to boost away from the ships when you have low shields, as their shots quickly drop off after a few seconds, giving you time to recharge.

Something to do with the fact that it's constantly changing, so the servers' getting overloaded.

Managed to hit the credit cap yesterday. I did all of the challenges (including weekly), got a Jackpot of credits from the slot machine, almost 7,000! :thumbsup: Sadly through Warrant Officer was killing me. Resorted to do the target locator trick. Not too much through. Halfway through WO2, WO3 will be a pain...

I "think" it's somewhere around 60,000. It might get higher with the higher level you reach, I am unsure.

Alright guys, so I've had a capture card for years now and I have used it like five times. I've decided to make a montage called "A Monument to All Your Fail", showing epic fails and funny accidents. I have a bunch of clips of my own, but in order to get this out sooner, I'd like to get some from you guys. Just put the clips on your file share, then give me the link by PM. Gah, lost a decent fail. I was playing sniper fight with some friends, I shot at a Jackal with a sniper. They apparently lost their shields as a group of them attacked them and they were together, and the round bounced off and killed both of them. It isn't in my local/temp files anymore. <_<

Really liking them all, although the shielddoors on Anchor 9 still worry me.

I don't know why, but the layout of tempest makes me think of Backwash for some reason, mostly the structure over Blue Base.

 

Might be the shape of the map.

 

 

The Blue beam over the structures too makes me think of the cables of Backwash, excluding that one structure in the center.

It wasn't a roaring success, but Halo Wars is (was?) a good game, i've not played that much of it, but it was good fun. The fan base was small and dedicated but still there.

I guess stat tracking became too expensive for so few, but to shut down the site entirely seems a bit harsh in my opinion.

I like Halo Wars a lot, but I personally don't really care much about the stats being tracked online. But then again, I was only like Major in multiplayer. Guess it sucks for Generals.

As far as i'm aware, you are still ranked, but you lose all the online functionality, as in you can't see your game history online, as you can with Halo 2, 3, ODST and Reach.

 

Put it this way, you can see your Halo 2 online record from 5+ years ago, but from December 16th, you won't be able to see a game from 18 months previous (If you played on the very first day it came out). I think i'll play some before it goes bust. I'll be honest, I think it's sad to see it go not because it was brilliant, but because it shows how microsoft doesn't care for this game or it's fans.

I played with Hysteria yeasterday, randomly got him on our team for snipers and he carried us with 25 points, our entire team was joking it was Hysteria and afterwards we checked his friendslist and he had all the pros on it.
