They asked me how I found out about them and they seemed to be pretty thrilled that you suggested them, Overdoziz. :P

I still have to get through the recruitment screening though.

Also, Bungie needs to add this to a playlist before they are completely done with halo.

Hell yeah, I love that gametype. If you have a full lobby it's just full of many kinds of win.

Toggle crouch is awful because it makes you stand up the moment you take damage. It gives you a lot less control and is more unpredictable then using defualt hold stick to crouch.

Oh, and Bumper Jumper is awesome. Of course it takes some time getting used to the button lay-out, but it will pay off in the end. Being able to jump and turn around at the same time is bliss.

I decided that I'm not much of a clan person either. I have to go through so many other obstacles that have nothing to do with playing Halo in order to be a part of a close knit clan. I also don't have a mic nor do I like playing with one which seems to be a major prerequisite for a lot of these clans. However, my friends list has been growing exponentially and I now have a huge roster of skillful players to group up with.

I've found that with the addition of armour abilities in Reach bumper jumper has become less effective. In Halo 3 there was no reason not to use it, as you had much more control when jumping, and it became much easier to aim and melee.

However, in Reach you are placed at a disadvantage using all the armour abilities apart from maybe active camo, as it's a pain to click the X button in a hurry. Try using the jet pack or evade and you'll see what I mean. In all you're put back on a level playing field, which is an advantage for balancing reasons, but a disadvatage for anyone thinking jumping and turning is possible.

The only AA that requires holding onto a button is Jetpack. So that's the only AA I have an disadvantage on. The others are just as easy to use. A single X tap does the job. I don't understand how using Evade would be hard.

I wish Evade was available in more gametypes. I always use sprint when it isn't an option. But sometimes I feel bold and if available, use evade, cause it looks pretty sweet.

I can't stand Evade. Maybe I'm just sloppy with it, but I run into trouble more often than I escape it. I've finally mastered the art of Jetpacking though. I love Jetpacking to avoid getting grenaded around corners - they rush into me expecting a weakened opponent.

Sure the armor abilities added new ways of playing multiplayer, but I can't stand them.

I miss the days where the only abilities you could have, but had to go looking for, were over-shields and invisibility.

I hate all AA's except for Sprint and Hologram. The others are just awful.

Evade + sword/shotgun/grav-hammer = awful

Invis + Sniper = awful

Jetpack + map not designed with it in mind = awful

Drop shield + Objective gametype = awful

And it gets even worse when an entire team i using the same AA.

So you hate when people use AA's to help their team win?

I'm not calling people out for using it, but rather the fact that it's possible to do. The combinations I summed up ruin the game. I'm not blaming the players, I'm blaming the game. Oh, and I even forgot about Armor Lock, but I guess that requires no explanation.

OH GOD. ARMOR LOCK OR EVADE TEAMS.

It's not really the players' faults for using what Bungie gave them, but yeah they definitely should've considered balancing things out more. And maybe actually spend more than five minutes to make multiplayer maps.

MLG has the right idea. They place AAs on the map and treat them like powerups that people can fight over. They only allow people to use Sprint at spawn and you pick up other AAs on the map. Facing one guy with evade instead of an entire team is a lot more bearable and is fair because he fought to pick up the AA. This makes it a lot more fair in my mind and a lot less irritating.

I was thinking that because of the way you hold the controller, evade becomes less effective as you kind of have to awkwardly move your hand away from the thumbsticks, which is annoying if you're evading. I'm going to switch to bumber from regular and see what difference I get.

Oh and DMR bloom doesn't bother me, the idea behind it is to pace your shots, rather than spamming the shoot button. Besides, everyone is at the same disadvantage.

Playing Halo: Wars is so fun. Especially when you take EVERY base on the map without losing more than 10 units...

Not sure what to think including AA's in classic maps... I mean I thought they were just going to spruce it up, not try and turn it into Reach.

That's all that's different, as far as I know. I've seen videos of new maps in gameplay, and everything looks the same as the original as far as I can tell...

There are two versions of each map. One for the classic playlist and one for regular Reach matchmaking. The former is a remake without any additions. The latter version has additions made to fit into the vanilla Reach gameplay.
