If you move the game window (title bar / Runescape window) and move it back it will restore instantly. For me it also meant that certain actions would cause my game to crash after I saw it. For example I saw it most while doing prayer training altar runs to my house. When I would tele back to edgeville using my mounted glory the game would crash, certain other actions would cause the crash too.
