Why does everyone try to compare runescape to world of warcraft. JAGEX DIDNT STEAL FUDGE ALL.

The auction house is NOT blizzards idea..

If you can prove that runescape is becoming more like wow then i will shut up.. but to be honest.. its becoming like any other MMORPG. I can name 3 games with an 'auction house', I can't even name the amount of games that have guild/clan/group support. I can't name the amount of games that have split loot.

Why, whenever an update comes out people always assume 'OMG JAGEXZZ STOLED FROM WOW' when in fact they are just 'evolving' into a better MMORPG like those in the market (WoW, Archlord, Eq2, Lineage2 ect..)

Oh joy... A duel arena update. All this means is that instead of dealing with one x-logger, now you have to deal with up 63 of them.

All I have to say is WOW. This month looks awesome! Although I do wonder what effects the exchange will have on the economy, now that goods will be readily purchasable. Now that there will be an easy way to buy from other players, prices will probably become very competitive. As a Runecrafter, this worries me a bit.

I wonder what the BIG update could be :-k Summoning? NEW BANK INTERFACE?! (god I hope it's the latter)

Maybe the giant update is the pet thing :o

Weve had a bulldog teaser, and now a wolperthingywhatagain as an avatar next to the article?

Or maybe its something like a new skill or a giant minigame/quest.

Or both :P.

This month sounds wicked anyway, the Grand trade house, the finished storyline and the Tournament at the dueling arena.

It seems that they are making this year a 'fix everything in the current system' year. I mean weve had like loads of updates regarding the system.

Its a little low on content itself, but I cant complain.

Very excited about the whole thing. Big update with the grand exchange, and now that they're dropping hints about "the next big thing", I'm super excited!

I'm looking forward to this month too. It looks like they are concentrating on the HAM storyline at the moment. I hope that when they have finished, they will get back to the Myreque and dwarf quests (my favourite).

The auction house looks great, good opportunity to get rid of some of my extra treasure trail gear, and sell some of the junk that I am not keen on dropping.

I have to say that I am looking forward to the big update. It looks like it will be released in the New Year (most likely) and I reckon that it will be a new skill. It could be a new minigame or area, but I don't think that they would describe it as such if it was one of those.

all in all, looks like a good month. I wonder what the guaranteed content poll will be? Hope that we get to vote for Fremennik area for achievement diary this time....

Awesome updates.

I don't care about the DA stuff, but the Grand Exchange is just the thing I've been hoping for, as I can't stand the crowds, lag and utter CHAOS on the big merchanting worlds... Now I'll finally be able to sell my TT items and slayer drops without losing my sanity.

Assist system looks good too, I like doing crafting stuff for other people but there's always the trust barrier. And Smith-X is a godsend

Goblin quests were fun, but not really challenging. Still, it's good to see Jagex finally tying up some loose ends... and with that one off the content developers' checklists, perhaps someone can finally begin working on the next part of the Ardougne quest line?

The big update announcement has more of a content vibe to me than a new skill. My money is on the return of the Mahjarrat, which might or might not include one or more quests or another GWD-like area... but will certainly have to change the wilderness in some huge way, making it the battlefield of demigods again :ohnoes:

why is everyone saying this is the end of the goblin quests? Doesnt it say penultimate (as in second to last) - that means we have to wait for another one after this fact fans...

A couple intriguing ideas from the RSOF about the big update...

Quote from Darespon1

"I think when they talk about the horizion, they're adding a sun, or a sky or something"

I agree too as I said before. Sky :)

------------------------------------------------------------

Quote from Elite Fluffy

"Horizon, you think of wide open seas, you think of ships.

And 'trickle' is to do with water.

If it is sailing/boating/seafaring, it'll be best update ever. "

I agree i think it has something to do with a sky! and a new skill like boating/seafaring

Either of these two would be awesome. Thought I still think that the new bank interface would be great.
