Help with Paypal

I've already emailed paypal and asked them questions but everytime i message them they dont really answer my question so then i just have to send it again.

So i figure someone on here must know the answer.

Is there anyway i can transfer money from my bank account, through my paypal right to someone else's without taking 6-7 buisness days? As in an instant transfer?

And is there anyway i can set up my bank card as like a credit card where it takes the money right from my bank account?

not that I know of. You'll have to transfer money to your account, and then pay them with paypal.

I assume you mean bank card = paypal? I think you can set it up like that but I don't know much about paypal. (only use it really for graphics sales / account sales).

You can't speed up the process, even with a verified business status, I'm afraid.

I'm not sure how Canada banking works, but you might be eligble for a Debit Card for your bank account (UK examples are Visa Electron, Maestro), which would allow you to transact with a card, ala credit card - except for you must have the necessary funds, of course.

1. I don't quite understand why you'd pay PayPal some 4% in fees to transfer funds to someone else's bank account, you don't need the middle man... Just send a normal wire transfer. There is no way to avoid waiting 2 to 5 business days on average (for the transfer to appear on the other person's account)

2. I think you confused card types there. :) A credit card adds funds to your PayPal account, and you just credit the money to PP with your monthly Visa/Mastercard/etc bill...

With a debit card, (probably what you mean by 'bank card') funds are instantly drawn from your bank account to your PP account. So with debit cards you can only add to your PP account an amount that's present in your bank account.

Some people don't like PayPal for the above reason; Ability to add funds via credit cards. Theoretically you could just open a PP account with a stolen credit card, add $2000 with the intention of never paying the bill, purchasing goods with it, recieving them and disappearing... And the money would be chargebacked when the bill isn't paid, with the merchant left with neither the money OR the product he sent..

Wait, it takes 2-5 days for a transfer to be completed via Paypal? I thought it was instant?

Hydraides, shut up.

Bballchamp, it takes 2-8 days, depending on your country, to transfer money out of your bank - from one account to the other is instant. It takes time because it's a cheque - a virtual cheque, but a cheque nonetheless. It takes time to clear.
