Dizzle229
Before you look at these pics, I will tell you in advance. These are not the best fakes in the world. I am hoping to get photoshop soon., and I expect to add on to this gallery as I get better. Just a quickie I made. They don't like being sheared. Truly shows how easy Jagex is making it for noobs to get stuff. Once again, just a quickie. Be careful next time you cut down a tree. Get back here so I can rub your butt. yaff2
ALWAYS SAVE AS PNG!!! ALWAY! and, tbh they are very bad. try downloading a runescape fake package. it gives you font, tells you where to place what, and how to do it... 1980 Berlinetta with a 350, bored, mild cam, intake carb, headers, exhaust
Dizzle229
one is JPEg, the other is PNG. i dont see a difference. And you mentioned a program to make it easier. where could i get that its what i was looking for. Get back here so I can rub your butt.
Nom
There is no difference because it was already saved as a JPEG, so you couldn't do anything about the quality that had already been messed up. Next time, save it a a .png first. TBH they are quite bad. Like Yaff said, get a package that gives you the right fonts and stuff. Don't know exactly where to get one, google it. Just be careful what you download, as always.

Dizzle229
Now to expose my master plan. I knew they were bad (that part wasn't really a secret, i already mentioned it and a blind guy in a dark room could see that they were). I did this because I wanted tips. I have ben watching this forum and unlike rants, the gallery seems to have an intelligent community. I knew if you saw something bad, instead of "z0mg N0013 @13r+!!!", you would help out. Thank you for the tips, they have really helped, but I have one last question. I found this download: STEP 7: Insert a textbox First, you will need to download the runescape font. Download it here. You will need to unzip it and extract it to C:/windows/fonts/ If that doesn't work, open Control Panel -> Fonts -> File -> Install New Fonts and select the RuneScape font. I copied and pasted it in case you guys don't trust links. need to know how to install this download. http://www.bloodveld.com/fakes.htm This guide is by Bloodveld btw. Unfortunately, you will have to brave the link as i could find no other way :( In the "download here" link in step 7, I really don't understand what to do. Can you please run by me a step by step on this? I don't even know how to unzip the folder #-o Get back here so I can rub your butt.
pryomancer
Save the file to wherever you download files to. Open it when it completes, on the side there should be an option to extract or unzip. Get the tryetype font file, right click and install (for vista at least). Otherwise- start>control panel>appearances>fonts file>install in the window that pops up locate your file and install it

guthix121
I'm sorry, but these are about the worst fakes I ever saw. You don't use the correct fonts, and if you aren't going to edit the chatbox, atleast crop it out. Sorry, but I can't even rate these. There is almost no work involved whatsoever. Own a forum? Dizzle229
Alright the photobucket account is up. Do I can't have a gallery of links though, how do I post it here without having it convert to JPEG? EDIT: I'm still gonna need to know how to actually access the font and color once the folder is unzipped (i'm on vista) Get back here so I can rub your butt. purfishx
Ok crits: 1) They're way too simple. 2) You need the right fonts and font colors. 3) Start spending a lil more time on them. 5) In the fake with the sheep, you have the words over the sheep but the in the chatbox, it shows that you typed it. :? Work on that. 6) The one where you're headless, it looks like you cut that out in MSpaint. \ Sigs by: Soa | Gold_Tiger10 | Harrinator1 | Guthix121 | robo | Elmo | Thru | Yaff2 Avatars by: Lit0ua | Unoalexi | Gold Tiger . Nom
I use ImageShack, but I imagine Photobucket must be similar. Just click on the image and find the part that says "url for forums" or such, and copy and paste it here. Remember to have image tags around it. Don't use the "thumbnail for forums" tag, though. i don't think I'm alone in saying that it's a bit annoying to have to click on thumbnails for every image. purfishx
I'm afraid Photobucket is slightly more advanced than Imageshack. When you finish upload click: "IMG Code" and then copy that and paste it. You don't need to do anything else. Dizzle229
I'm not sure whether to use the image code or the HTML code. Ill try both. ' [hide=Warning] [/hide] EDIT: Alright, definately image code. Just tell me what to do now that the font download is complete and I should be ready \ Get back here so I can rub your butt. Nom
Crop the browser stuff out so that all you have is the Runescape screen. We don't need all that black space :) . Otherwise, there you go. Work on them fakes.
