JeRambo
Nice guide and update, but I was wondering about a few things. What about using: - Gravite weapons (swords, bow)- Longbow sight- Gem bag- Twisted bird skull necklace (+9 prayer bonus and you gain prayer points by burying bones, if worn)- Strength pots- Cornucopia Some thoughts I just had. :) "Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come." "An imperfect man can do great deeds, and a great man imperfect ones.

Kaida23
Nice guide, simple and to the point. I'm definitely going to do this when I start training combat again. Check out my blog to read the Adventures of a Big Damn (F2P) Hero. THE place for all free players to connect, hang out and talk about how awesome it is to be F2P. So, Kaida is the real version of every fictional science-badass? That explains a lot, actually... NJE03
Update: 12/01/2011 7up1230 brought to my attention that the ring of devotion may be a better option for the ring slot (both have their advantages). I have updated the guide to include this option as well as adding an excerpt about the Lumbridge cook's daily food hamper. @Kaida23Thanks; I am glad you find it useful. :) [spoiler=Stats:]Updated December 22, 2011: Total level - 1442 - 170M+ XP , Combat level - 115Combat skills: Attack - 90, Defence - 99 (24.45m+ XP), Strength - 90, Constitution - 99 (16.42M+ XP) Ranged - 99 (13.32M+ XP), Prayer - 60, Magic - 99 (13.25M+ XP)Non-Combat skills: Cooking - 99 (13.80M+ XP), Woodcutting - 99 (31.95M+ XP), Fishing - 90, Firemaking - 99 (24.82M+), Crafting - 90, Smithing - 90, Mining - 85, Runecrafting - 60, Dungeoneering -
Kaida23
I hadn't noticed that the Ring of Devotion had defensive stats. Would one defense point make that much of a difference though? NJE03
On it's own probably not a big difference. I figure every point adds up though and contributes in some way. Hedgehog
+1 def bonuses aren't going to make any noticeable difference, even if you train to 200m melees, especially considering how weak f2p monsters are.

I would argue a +1 is better than a +0 though, even if in a small way. Hedgehog
You probably lose more time going to the ge and buying it than you save :P
NJE03
You probably lose more time going to the ge and buying it than you save :PA ring of devotion is untradable and therefore cannot be purchased from the G.E. However, you can purchase a clay ring and then take it to Father Aereck to bless. The only purpose it serves is to contribute slightly to overall defensive capabilities and is the only F2P ring which does so.
