22woger22
If I bribe a farmer with his/her bribe and they look after any patch, should I used super compost with the looked-after patch before planting my seeds/saplings into it? Or is using super compost completely nullified by the fact that a farmer is watching over my crop? I know that a farmer will never let your crop have disease, but I heard that super compost in a patch will make that patch grow faster? Is this true? My main questio: Should I use supercompost with a patch that a farmer is already watching? Ta
Biggieg333
I wouldn't use supercompost if the farmer is watching over the patch. The farmer is meant to keep the plants disease free and also keep them watered. If you really need to see if that's true, I'd try it on potatoes or something first. Or maybe just use supercompost. Main Idea: I wouldn't waste the supercompost. Join BsK today.
gun_hippy
yeah, cept for trees compost protects + increases yield so when being looked after, it still increases yield, so use it except for trees, where it's the same no matter what
Tyrrell9
It's worth using supercompost on anything, as the farmer simply has to cure the plant as you'd have to, which makes it take longer to grow. With supercompost there's less chance of it diseasing, so there's less chance of it taking longer to grow.
Biggieg333
While that is true Tyrell, I would personally want to save money and not use the supercompost. And I know you can get super compost for under 1k making it yourself, but it will leave you more time to do other things, such as slayer, woodcutting, or runecrafting. Join BsK today. Well supercompost sells in the GE rather cheaply at approximately 500gp each, while pineapples (which can make supercompost) sell for ~200gp ea. The cost isn't the problem for me, it's just I don't like my bank full of supercompost and buckets... By the way, the bribe I was referring to is the Jade Vine bribe (10 wildblood hops).
