Has Construction been left in the Sawdust?

Since Construction has been released, there have been two major updates- the Costume Room and the room limit changes. Taking into consideration of the costs it takes to pay for this skill, we haven't really gotten any new updates for it in a while. While it's pretty obvious JaGeX added this skill to be a money sink, in my opinion, it's still a great skill, and doesn't really deserve to be abandoned like this.

Can be looted to obtain a variable item and reobtain the imp jar. If you are insane, it can instead be exchanged for impling jars from Elnock Inquisitor.

Don't complain about Construction. they need to focus on OLDER skills that they haven't updated. (Mining, Woodcutting, Agility, Runecrafting)

Construction is already really full. There's something new to build at almost every level. I can't even think of anything else they could/should add.

We'll probably see a new summoning room

Thats something I'd like to see.. Im only 50 con, and its probably gonna be buildable in the 50's hopefully. Or it will be level 50 to build, and some other room is moved up. Meh.

Pretty much done with rs now

Agility got the penguin course, mithril grapples and the Dorgesh-Kaan course.

Runecrafting got the ZMI altar.

Mining and woodcut can't really be udpdated, well it could, knowing Jagex, but could you imagine that...

To kickstart June we thought we would give you a grand update to the woodcutting skill, gather those hatchets up and head down to Witchaven where you will find the new powercutting minigame! Will you get all the logs required to advance into the deeper zones, where you have underground trees, roots of oaks, or will you descend deep into the 5th layer where a brand new tree, requiring level 90 woodcutting, will be awaiting your hatchet? Find out in the new WoodChop minigame!

I think Jagex only wanted Construction to be a 'money sink' skill (a skill where large amounts of money in the RS economy are loss, to keep prices stable and counter inflation), so I wouldn't think they'd want to update it anyway...

Oo, that actually sounds kinda exciting... lol at the very least it would add to the excitement a little, just sitting there chopping is kinda boring.

In my opinion, construction is one of the fullest skills available. There is something to build all the way up to lvl 99, which can't be said for many other skills. I think the only thing they would ever need to add to construction would be something to link it to a separate new update, like a quest or new skill.

Construction is already a HUGE skill. I really don't think we need any more things for it lol. I can't even think of a possible other room/piece of furniture we could have

Construction has had some updates. But what about Farming and Herblore?

Farming hasnt had an update since Big Arms patch, and the minor patch on Braindead Island.

Herblore hasnt had an update since.. Fill x, but that really isnt a content update. To be honest, I hope to see some new Herbs, and Herbs seeds for summoning to expand both these skills.

I think that construction being a money drain in the first place is ridiculous. Ya I know that they needed something, but an entire skill for a money drain is too far. I like construction, building a house, and of course, all the things in the costume room that can save space. All it is now is a small way to get money from the players. Not too many people still work on the skill. I would like too but with the meager money I do have usually goes towards other skills. Yet I still do fins some little cash left over to but a new item. I still think they should lower the prices, and make a regular skill, not just a money drain.

Lol, it actually sounds like something Jagex would say. Great impersonation

OT: Idk, construction seems like it's already pretty well made. There isn't too much more you can do for it.

Looking at the development diary that showed the amount of time worked on each skill, construction easily had been worked on much more than hunter, slayer, and farming. Construction has something new at almost every level, whereas hunter has very few new uses past level 70. I'm glad this is going to change this month, and i think that in the near future hunter will be a very useful skill. In other words, construction does not deserve new updates as much as hunter, mining, agility, fishing, etc.

It would help if they added more uses to it, to justify the high leveling cost. It has a couple of nice uses, but most of it is just to make the house look better, and has a useless use or no use at all.

This is exactly my point. I also lost a ton of my net worth with the new rules, and making money is going to be tough with there not really being a stakers market anymore. So im really interested in construction, just the cost to get somewhere high enough to actcually build some of the better things is to high.

Ummm.... switching the unidentified to grimy & barbarian training potions? I thought that those were two big updates to Herblore...

Construction is only useless to people who don't know how to use it. My hideous yet efficient house is one of my most important tools in runescape. Thereis an unlimited supply of basic tools if they're ever lost, cooking supplies are there as well, my teleport portals have saved me a good deal in law runes, I love my homemade teletablets, I've dropped 3-4 lines of my bank into the various furnitures in my costume room, it saves me from walking all the way from the watchtower to get to the enclave, the sndman, the guild, or even my wildbloods for the vine.

I don't see any updates coming to construction in the near future(excluding anything summoning related of course). I would really like to see an update to mining or...yeah just mining*dreams of a dragon pickaxe*

Dragon pickaxe will come theres no question about it. Same with dragon plate and kite. If they were not all going to be eventually released they'd never have made the dragon full helm drop or the dragon woodcutting axe.
