Looks good, although I'm not going to renew my members for this. I'll just wait for another summoning/wildy/elf storyline update & then consider playing again.

Anyone look at the special ability of the Giant Ent?

Nature link - can convert pure essence into nature or earth runes

That sounds great for those in need of a few quick runes. I doubt it gives any Runecrafting exp though.

Or Unicorn stallion for going somewhere where poison is possible:

Right-click Cure - cures poison and disease

Much better than potions.

Granite Lobster

Fishing boost (4) - invisible

Counts as harpoon for catching sharks

Forager (5) - stores sharks it catches

Abyssal Lurker

Beast of burden (3) - unnoted rune and pure essence

All up to the Pack Yak:

Beast of burden (10)

Could you imagine carrying 10 more items? :ohnoes:

Completed the quest. This skill doesn't look like its going to be easy to train. The charms seem necessary, and can only be obtained as monster drops, (or from other players.)

Do you gain summoning exp from damage your familiar does?

Quoting the Knowledge Base here:

Do I get combat experience for damage my familiar does in combat?

No - you're not learning anything by letting something else fight, are you?

From that, I'd have to guess no. :(

It looks like the experience you get for actually summoning something is negligible. The best experience seems to be infusing things into pouches.

Are pouches tradeable once infused? Could a level 96 summoner conceivably make a fortune by selling pack yaks?
Goals to get my skills back up to a barely respectable level on the high scores:

Currently going for Bone to Peaches spell. It's amazing how boring doing the same repetitive task is! Stupid MTA
