VjuliusT Posted June 14, 2008 Share Posted June 14, 2008 I have to say it was a "decent" job, the other style is your strong point. You duplicated the render a lot right? It looks a piece of sandpapered wood which makes me wonder what kind of brush you used, The spread seems low as well, you'll improve within time ;). Tip: use a different base colour instead of black, example, take a colour from the render with the eye dropper thingy and then make it a bit darker. I could show you a good technique if you want, I use it a lot myself. Also if you keep training your brushing you could combine the other style you use for a cool effect, I can imagine it in my head.
