Adult swim sucks

In the beginning, Adult Swim was an amazing segment of cartoon network featuring cartoons that could not be aired during regular hours.

 

 

 

I am going to go through the list of shows, and how Adult Swim is swooning on death.

 

 

 

-Assy Mcgee is terrible stacked on top of a talking [wagon]. Though I can see why it was pretty popular at first (Hey! A talking [wagon]!) it is a terrible show, that I can barely watch without wanting to kill myself.

 

 

 

-Fat Guy stuck in internet is so terribly horrible, it makes Chuck Norris cry. Really? Is this the best Adult Swim can offer? Its basically a super deluxe show, and everyone knows super deluxe is a major fail.

 

 

 

-Metalocalypse is my favorite show to watch on Sunday nights. It is hilarious and not at all a bad show. One of Adult Swims only ways of making money is by milking this cash cow.

 

 

 

-Morel Oral is a so-so series. I find that some of them are terrible while some are kind of funny.

 

 

 

-Robot Chicken is another one of my favorites, though I said metalocalypse is the best to watch on Sunday's, I only said that because robot chickens new season is not airing yet. A major show to milk (and they are, they are coming out with a second robot chicken star wars in November).

 

 

 

-Squidbillies is like Morel Oral, its all right here and there...

 

 

 

-Tim and Eric awesome show great job is really a pathetic attempt at being funny. It is crappy acting, stacked on top of crappy jokes, stacked on top of crappy Tim and Eric.

 

 

 

-Venture Bros is my second favorite show on Sunday nights at the moment. It kicks pop culture right in the [wagon] and tells it to bend down and kiss its foot (plus brock is awesome).

 

 

 

-Xavier Renegade Angel makes me wish CGI were never invented. When life sucks and you hope to have a heart attack or to crap out your guts, watch this show at the same time, and it might make you try harder.

 

 

 

-Aqua Teen Hunger Force is usually pretty good. The originals kind of sucked.

 

 

 

-The boondocks is hilarious and so funny, from what I heard it made someone crap there pants. Please bring a new season :pray: .

 

 

 

-Frisky Dingo is kind of funny, but has a continuing story which is something you find none of in a lot of comedy shows.

 

 

 

-Lucy, Daughter if the Devil had one good episode. I will not tell you which one it was, but this show sucks other than that one episode...

 

 

 

-Saul of the Mole Men is like being a paparazzi and stalking Britney Spears, your gonna get beat up for doing it.

 

 

 

-Space Ghost how I miss you. The original adult swim awesome.

MOST OTHER ANIME=A huge list, but most were all right or gay completely (Eureka seven? Voltron?)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So what happened to adult swim, when it started it was full of great shows, now its turned into a schmorgusboard of reruns and crappy new shows (with a few exclusions).

I dont even live in america, but any station that airs code geass is automatically the best station in the entire country.

They base their programming on ratings, which is why they air so much crap. Evidentally, there are a lot of people out there that like the junk that's on there now. AS used to be awesome years ago, but now there's only about 2 shows on there that I actually look forward to seeing.

Btw, I was wrong: you can still watch videos from that site *if you are from the United States. Duh! If you're from the US, you can just as well watch them on tv. I agree with the "non sucks" . My favorite shows on [AS] include Frisky Dingo, Home movies, Metalacolypse, Xavier, Venture Bros, Shin Chan, Death note and Code Geass.

 

 

 

But seriously, not all kind of humor are the same. Some of the shows on there are different from the "family guy" kind of humor most have come to expect.

We all have our opinions. I hate Japanese animes involving giant robots (Except Evangelion), and I am not solely family guy. I hate their style, and only find it funny at points...remember when? is really stupid after some time...

 

Home movies just...sucks hard...

How many EP's have you seen of home movies. I'm not a fan of some of their stuff from season 1 but it's a brilliant show.

 

 

 

Admittedly it took a bit for me to get into, give it a shot. And, honestly dude, Inuyasha is horrible. I can't get over how a person could enjoy that travesty of a show.

Adult Swim sometimes scares the [cabbage] out of me to be honest in the wee hours of the morning. I like Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Family Guy, Robot Chicken, Metalocalypse, Pee Wee's Playhouse (what happened to it), Perfect Hair Forever is frankly insane and scares the bejesus out of me, The Ooblongs pretty much sucks and I don't like it, The Boondocks is beautiful, absolutely beautiful, Squidbillies is only amusing late at night, Morel Oral is okay, Death Note, Bleach, Ghost in the Shell (I'm so dissapointed, do they show this?), Blood+ is cool too sometimes, and etc.

 

 

 

I love it overall, though. But Adult Swim always creeps me out a lot of times. Also, I love when they introduce a show, those little short snapshots of scenes with bizarre music, wow. Brings back memories. I could watch these all day. Amazing. Wow. Love them, just had to say this.

Really though, code geass just has robots in it -- it certainly is not the focus of the show.

 

 

 

I think the one Moral Orel I liked is where he started to bring back the dead because it was a sin to be dead or something. Then they had dirty clothes on so he took them off because "dirtyness is a sin".

 

 

 

 

 

Also I would give Home movies another shot if I were you. I remember first few episodes I saw I thought kind of sucked, but I watched some more and it's really a brilliant show once you get into it.

I know everyone hates it, but I love Trinity Blood. It's mainly for the art and the scenes and the music (loved the music, and you know you do too), more visually and mentally than anything. I don't even know much of the plot actually. :D

Adult Swim has fallen off something serious. The last new show that came onto Adult Swim I got into was the Boondocks, which is my favorite non-cancelled TV show.

 

 

 

Funny, true, fresh, all that stuff.

I don't watch Adult Swim a whole lot anymore. Night time is for partying, extra porn time, or whatever else I can find to do. However I do record the shows I like because our tv goes out often enough and I hate starting at a blank screen for 20 minutes waiting for it to come back.

Only thing I find good on Adult Swim is Family Guy and Robot Chicken, though I barely watch Adult Swim (I'm a canadian that goes to the US very little). Everything else is horse [cabbage].

 

 

 

We do get some other things on Teletoon in Canada that I like, that I have never seen on Adult Swim, but have heard of being on there. If I actually saw that, I actually might have stopped playing video games and started watching Adult Swim again.
