Great_one Posted September 26, 2008 Share Posted September 26, 2008 my least fave- -1. steel drags not doing shilo again till i block these...burthed on task #30 because of these -2. iron drags same as above -3. kalphites -4. black demons -5. scarabites i suppose never had them yet my fave 1.Goraks i love these geta task of 50 but sure it takes 2 runs even with bunyip but there fast+i have a thing for gems 2. daggs 3. waterfiends i go there w/o tasks so a task is just bonus even though they take 2 trips mostly 4. kurasks easy to pwn with leaf sword and they have great drops 5. no idfea really gargs might get this spot but idk i cant kill them yet but i like slayer monsters...maybie trolls if i have a cannon at the time Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Seraphyna Posted September 26, 2008 Share Posted September 26, 2008 Tasks I blocked are : warped terrorbirds (since they don't drop charms) mithril dragons (since I'm lazy) abberant spectres (since they take too much effort) scabarites (they arent worth the effort) I also dislike hellhounds since they're always packed, steel dragons since they're always packed, black demons cause they take forever, kalphite (there's usually either someone who cant share or a cannon). evil_mumm_ra Posted September 26, 2008 Share Posted September 26, 2008 well, right now as i can only block one task, i have blue dragons blocked. i just hate those. metal dragons i don't mind, i got my first dragon drop (d skirt) from a bronze the other day. don't really plan on blocking much else, except maybe mutated zygomites. i love kurasks and black demons, haven't had black demons in ages though, kurasks i get often which is nice. Triquos Posted September 27, 2008 Share Posted September 27, 2008 This is my list of hated tasks: Black demons - they're great for when you want 99 slayer, but when you have 99 like me, they're pointless. Warped terrorbirds - a pain to kill with using the charm on them every single time, nice drops but still a pain. Greater demons - easy to kill with gr8 crimson charm drops but it's ALWAYS crowded and some may say well just hop to another world, yeah, done that, believe me. DOESN'T WORK. You can range them in gutanoth though, might take longer to finish task though, i'm sick of them either way. Scarabites - the most hated creature in all of RS in my opinion. They're in multi, the rangers, melee'ers and mages OWN you, the drops are pretty pathetic and you have to travel a long way just to kill them. Not worth it at all. Kalphites - it's ALWAYS crowded there, whoever says it's not as crowded as you think must have gotten lucky every single time. I used to like these because soldiers were easy to 3 hit and it wasn't crowded until summoning came out -.- Skeletal wyverns - they have nice crimson charm drops but take forever to kill, usually on a 56 task it would take 2 - 3 trips and it just ain't my cup of tea. Gargoyles - a pain to kill with the rock hammer with its small sized clickable area coz it jumps like a bunny :roll: decent drops but nothing to jump for joy about. Steel dragons - I like these but the only problem I have is with the amount, only what, 4 of them in the dungeon? Also you get tag teamed by irons a lot unless you're killing the west most one :evil: Hellhounds - no drops apart from clues which I don't do anymore coz all I get is junk. I don't know why people block mith drag tasks either. All you need is the usual gear, with black d hide body and chaps and a dfire shield or antidragonfire shield. Usually you get 3 - 6 or whatever. You can do that in one trip and it hardly takes any time at all! I'd never reject this task. Plus you get a chance of a DFH and visage. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The metal dragons are just too bothersome for me, and often crowded. I'll start slaying Irons again when I get a DFS. MAYBE, but they're slow experience. I'm not 127 combat so screw Greaters. Hellhounds are annoying, drop nothing, and take forever to get to for me. I can't be assigned Goraks, Scarabites or Warped Terrorbirds, but I know enough about them to know that they're OK tasks, just a little complicated. They are in single combat and just aren't worth the effort to find a free world to complete the task. Greater Demons: Same case, even after 127 combat they are still crowded on Brimhaven (the only place to safely melee them). I can't be bothered to fight crowds for mediocre slayer experience. Steel Dragons: Not enough spawns to feed the many visage hunters and fellow slayers. Kalphite: These are just annoying, crowds, a cannon on every world, and horrid drops, and I mean horrid. Notice the trend, crowded slayer tasks are :thumbdown: Underated Tasks: Scarabites: My favorite task a ton of slay xp if you cannon, you can do it with either a terrorbird of monks or a pony. Task takes no more than 10 minutes. Skeletal Wyverns: Extremely good crimson charms at 88+ summoning, you can do the entire task in one trip in less than an hour meleeing with a pony. Decent drops as well + a chance at visage. Warped Terrorbirds: If you are in it for the exp, this is no task to block. It's a very fun task if you like clicking. Just throw up cannon and mash your chimes on all the terrorbirds you can find. Probably about as "action packed" as Runescape gets. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

For most other tasks I can find a alternative to the powerhouses. If the CORPORAL beast is this hard, imagine how hard a GENERAL or COLONEL beast would be. a corporal is not even an admirable rank in armies that use that ranking system. Yeah, it is a pking minigame, so any arguments anybody makes will probably be biased.The best way this will end :Everybody just says,"I'm not arguing with you anymore, goodbye."The worst way this will end: I don't really know, psychological warfare?
