Daeyalt ore in the Mourners hideout??

First of all, i should introduce myself to this comunity as im not a regular poster, but i bet that would go in the "Introudce yourself to Tip.it!" thread so ill just go ahead and continue my thread...

As you may or may not know, with the new HD runescape, many changes were made. Many places, Npcs and graphics were modified. Well, the other day i found something that shocked me, i couldnt believe it but i didnt feel like posting it. Maybe it was cause the lack of my english writing skills or i was just lazy, but after reading Jagex, **** or get off the pot, i felt it was my obligation to show another example. Yes, another so called hint from Jagex.

I went to west Ardrogue (sorry the spelling) to the elves hideout to get my bazooka back when i found something very interesting...

Next to the cell there was a little cart with some light blue thingy inside. It drew my attention so i searched it, as usually, "nothing interesting happens". But there was something weird about it so i examined it and guess what i found:

For the ones that didnt complete Darkness of Hallowvale, the Daeyalt ore can only be mined in a mine underground Meiyerditch, the Vampyres territory.

Yes, what is an item that can only be found in Meiyerditch doing there? The Vampyres live in the East of Runescape, far away from the elves, there is something very fishy here...

The ore has no purpose at the time and we dont have any information about it. The little we know is that the Vampyres use the humans that live in Meiyerditch as slaves to mine it. Here a pic:

This may stun you because this opens many doors and unsolved questions.

For now we have answered one question, What are the carts for? But now we have many many new unanswered questions like What are the elves and Vampyres plotting? Why do elves need the Daeyalt ore? Why are Vampyres helping the elves?

I dont know much about the runescape history but there are 2 things that both have in common.

They are evil and the blood tally is mention in both series...

As far as i understand, both series will be conected in the future or somehting...but all this puzzles give me a headache and i hate it, so as Noble Aloof says, **** or get off the pot...

I want to apologise for the spelling mistakes and everything  , this is just an amateur thread so please dont flame :( . Btw, compliments about my english writing skills are really appreciated =p .

Discuss and feel free to give your opinion.

I'm quite sure the explanation is Jagex simply put the wrong cart into the Mourners area. I assume each item has a specific examine related to it, so they probably put in cart#1 where they meant to be put cart#2. for example.

Besides Mourners + Vampires have Nothing to do with each other, and no other evidence ingame has shown such.

Maybe, but those are the only carts in runescape with that blue thingy and examine info.

For example, the carts in the dwarf mine dont have that examine info. Coincidence? I dont think so....

I mean that there are lots of styles of mine carts across rs, i think. or if not then..

mine cart #1 is for the dwarven mines and has a normal/no examine.

mine cart #2 is for the daeyalt mines and has the special examine.

jagex in their infinite wisdom have probably messed up during the recent graphics change. one of their many accidental changes.

and for your questions.. "What are the elves and Vampyres plotting? Why do elves need the Daeyalt ore? Why are Vampyres helping the elves?"

What part of your imagination did you pull this from? No elf has ever talked about Vampires, daeyalt ore, and vice versa.

Two words. Straws, Clutching.

That would make sense if there was a cart like that anywhere else, that seams to be the only cart of it's kind.

there is a connection between mourners + vampires, mourners are helping the Iorwerth Clan who are trying to bring zamorak back to gielnor and the vampires serve lord drakan and drakan serves zamorak. its a zamorak conspiracy :wall:

CANE

Just to be different.

Think about it. A freaking Dragon Cane with a Dragonstone gem.

The spec will simply your character equiping a glove and beachslapping the enemy, who will break down and do the Cry emote for 10 seconds straight.

...And if you haven't been listening to me, the mine cart is probably a mistake of Jagexs part after the graphical work over.

That would be a huge coincidence since they DID NOT change carts, but they ADDED one, there was no cart before.

That's not a connection or a conspiracy that's a theory.

how is it now a connection? two groups of people who both are serving zamorak and both have the Daeyalt ore/carts. my bet is the ore is needed to resurrect zamorak

That's plausible that is what the ore is used for, but why would the mourners have a cart of it lying around if there is nowhere around there to mine it?

Oh maybe i should have said that there are some slaves mining "something" in the Mourners cave too...but as they looks like normal rocks (no ore) i didnt post it.

This isn't the first time we've been lead to believe that the Morytania and Arandar storylines are going to coincide. Lord Drakan is widely believed to be a mahjarrat, and it seems fairly likely that the elves are associating with some form of mahjarrat.

I'd suspect they're able to boat the ore across the ocean and around the Runescape world, ending up on the coast south of Phasmatys.

Sent a bugreport, see if it gets changed. Seems easy to me.
