How Much Would You Pay?

How much would you pay for an instant teleportation to your favorite training spot and back to bank? Personally, I'd pay around 100k (I'm cheap). Now, here are the two methods of payment.

 

 

 

~First Way~

 

Unlimited trips, one-time payment. Costs 10k to change bank/spot. Expensive.

 

 

 

~Second Way~

 

One trip there and back, one payment for one trip. Changing bank/spot is free after current trip is over. Seems cheap*, but can build up and exceed First Way's charge if used enough times.

 

 

 

*Note: Second Way is 1/500th* the cost (per trip) of First Way.

 

 

 

**Note's Note: Is 500 the average amount of trips someone does to their training spot? I need help with this.

 

 

 

 

 

Of course, you could always just teleport/walk there.

 

 

 

Would this help you? Tell what your usual training spot/bank is, as well as how much you'd pay and which method you'd use.

 

 

 

By the way, I do realize that there are teleportation spells. I'm not stupid.

I would tele to the Nature Altar. I'd pick the first way because there's no reason why I would ever switch - I'd become filthy rich from Runecrafting. :D

Wait wait, runescape has customised teleportation spots now??? Or is this a suggestion. Oh it's a suggestion. Well then, nice suggestion but I don't know what there is to discuss about it.

uhh, this sounds super weird to me. It would make the game far to easy and less adventurous. I don't think I would use this feature even if it was released. I mean, don't get me wrong, I do enjoy teleportation, because walking sucks, but something THAT easy wouldn't make many things skills challenging. The amount of 99s would skyrocket!

Bad idea.. Common training places for combat would be overloaded more then they already are. And if you don't have the patience to walk a little bit , then you really shouldn't play. People would use for barrows and God wars a lot. Laziness fails.

If it works in the wildy, then I would use the second option at the gold rocks north-east of Brimhaven until I got 85 mining. Then switch to the first option at the Rune rocks in the wildy. I see a rev, can quickly tele out of there. :thumbsup: Although I also agree that it is something that should never be implemented for overcrowding reasons.

Of course, this would make skilling incredibly easy, and would literally be buying skills. As for belonging in Bugs & Suggestions, I'm not making a suggestion, as this would ruin the economy and make 99's more worthless than ever. All I'm trying to do is ask, "How much would you pay for it?" to see how desperate people are for stats, versus money. So far, no one's answered.

Well, yes, it does ruin skilling.

 

How much *would* I pay for it? Nothing, I'm broke (and cheap).

 

Maybe you should change the topic name, as it looks like people are getting confused. #-o

One suggestion, how about you have to use an orb(dropped from a monster) with a gold bar to make this special teleportation device.

 

 

 

Every monster would have the ability to drop this but the drop rate would be (1/10000000) ten millionith of a chance.

 

 

 

Each orb would be good for just 1 use.

 

 

 

I would imagine jagex would set the price at least double the profit of a nat run and make it 100/4 hrs.

let me do some math

 

 

 

if 1k monsters are killed per second, 60k monsters in a minute.

 

So how about a 1/300k chance?

 

That means about every 5 minutes an orb would be added into the economy.

I would pay 10million for instant crafting guild tele and back. 30 million for instant body altar tele.

 

50 million for instant air altar tele.

 

 

 

I would never use the second ooption

100% F2P
