This is not a real guide, therefor I call it "overview". Any remarks/feedback/suggestions are welcome

Items needed:

none (all items are available in and must be taken from the quest-area)

you do a bit running, so the salty water spring of ogrepools can be helpful for lazy people (or bring a super energy to fill up your energy just before talking to joral)

[hide=start]talk to joral in the outpost west-north-west of ardougne

he gives you the enchanted key from "making history" back and some notes

he offers to store all (also the gear you're wearing) in the bank, let him do so, else the key doesn't work

now walk out, to the east, cross the bridge east of the bloodrunechest-tower, and then go slightly southeast (just outside the gates of the sheepherderquest)

rub the key[/hide]

[hide="past a" part 1]*talk to the mother (she making a shed)

*after that, go back to the present and talk to joral once again.[/hide]

[hide="past a" part2]*talk to the son about his dreams

*talk to the father (inside besides the cradle)[/hide]

[hide="past b" part1]*talk to the son (play mindreader and answer the questions about his past dreams right)

*talk to the daughter about her condition and about the trees

*talk to the mother (not sure, but maybe you need to talk to the traveler too), also: make sure the mother mentions the brooch before burrying "the brooch in past a"

About the brooch, there was no mention until after I fixed the trees and talked to everyone, I traveled to Past B and talked to Laura, who said she lost her brooch and she wishes she had it, so that triggered the 'maybe I should go back in the past'. I went to Past A, buried the brooch in the Dirt pile, went to Past B, and retrieved it and gave it to Laura.
[/hide]

[hide="past a" part3]*in the garden, take the spade and take from the stack of pots, replant all the trees (hop between past a and b till you see all blooming in past B): use spade on tree; plant the avocado near the water and the other one she mentioned totally north, flip arround the others too

kingmickez25 gave this overview:

Avacodo tree- South east

Lemon tree- South west

Mango tree - Next to the behive

Pear tree - above mango tree

Plum tree -north west

Quince tree - North east

*search the sidetables and the shelves for bowl, guam, milk and pestle&mortar; carchaol and papyrus

go outside and use the bowl on the beehive, use the milk with the honey and use the guam with pestle&mortar and then put that in it too, use that on the baby, talk to the father

*use the charcoal and the papurys to draw a map and give that to the mother outside

*grab the brooch from the table near the bed and use it on the pile of dirt in the frontgarden (near the shed)

For the brooch, the timing seemed a bit out, and I eventually got through it by talking to Laura, who accused me of stealing her brooch. This triggered the suggestion of burying it in the past, and it was straight forward after that.

Don't know if the tress have a set pattern, but my avocado was in the most south easterly, and the quince was in north easterly plot (I think that's the right way round). Otherwise, its just trial and error, and I did the whole 6 on the second try. Not difficult. You can tele between past a and past b without havin to go back to the present. This makes it easier to check whether the trees have grown. You end up in the same spot in the different time zone.

I spoke to the traveller by the camp fire south of the house, but he didn't say much and didn't add much to the issues for each of the family. Possible that he is not needed. :shame:

[/hide]

[hide="past b" part2]*take the spade from the shed and dig up the brooch, give use it on the mother and talk to her

*talk to the daughter

*talk to the son

*normally each familymember should have let you see a cutscene, if that's the case, you get the message to get back to jorol. Do so and get your reward[/hide]

It won't let me bury the brooch. Also, it would be helpful to tell us if we need to swap the trees/how to do that whole part.

At the beginning maybe mention to bring a couple energy pots but nothing else. I clicked out of Jorral's speech and had to bank again.

I just made the overview after doing the quest, so it might have it's flaws. So thanks for the feedback.

About the brooch: before trying to use it on the pile of dirt in "past a" Maybe try talking to the traveler and also talk to the mother in "past b"

The traveler as in the son (yes I did read his mind)? Y'know, after talking to all of em I never heard about the brooch - that's probably why.

Also, I moved my camera angle and spotted an elf teleing outside of the magical barrier. It said, "So these are the humans [name] told us about!" or something like that and teled away. Sinister.

Any info on treasure hunting after quest? Same as before?

I have to give Laura a map, but I can't seem to find it in your guide. She mentions nothing about a brooch, even though I have found that next to her bed.

you make the map by using the carchoal and the papyrus (which you find a the shelves) on eachother.
