Randox
Looks like friends might have dragged me back into RuneScape. Wasn't sure I would ever go back, but I still had some goals to reach, so yay for that. Started loading up my parents trailer with their stuff. They still need to get it moved into the proper position then they can really fill it. Good exercise though. I've also decided that I am almost certainly not afraid of heights. Also helping with cleaning the windows, and there is a set on the second floor that can only be done from the outside. To avoid putting the ladder through the windows, it has to be extended out a bit past 30 feet because the ground drops off there a bit (head would be about 24 ft up?). Now, between the ladder being really bouncy and a not insignificant cross wind, that makes me nervous. But I figure if I were really scared, I probably wouldn't be descending one handed or planning out my landing if the ladder tips in the wind (though I'm happy with a 14ft fall being my record. The lawn isn't 3 inches of pea gravel to help absorb the impact and I'm not a child).
Albel
A lot of stuff has been happening to me over the past few months. First off I dropped out of Concord University and am done with trying to become a teacher or a musician. I will continue to do music for a hobby and give lesson through the salvation army. I didn't want my passion in life to become a job. After talking with music teachers in the area it is apparent (we've known for a while...) that music and the arts are slowly fading away in the school system. I am however going to be moving next year to attend Shoreline community college near Seattle Washington. This was brought about because I made a visit to Seattle to see my sister and her husband. My girlfriend and I stayed 4 days in Seattle and saw 'Video Games Live concert on the last night. Concert was a [bleep]ing blast, I cried when they performed Simple and Clean from Kingdom Hearts. To continue about school there, I fell in love with the city in about two days, and I know that the job industry for machinist is booming. Im taking a huge risk to go up there...but I think I can make it happen. The relationship with my girlfriend is stronger then ever. Couldn't be happier however one issues has came up. She does not want to move far away from her family and friends. With this said the above situation is going to be very difficult for both of us...especially is I deiced to move to Seattle like I want to. Hopefully as time goes along she can hopefully make the move out there once I get a job and truely settled after school. Health wise I am okay. I have noticed my eyes are slowly getting worse. I know I have no sugar build up from my diabetes behind my eyes but the doctor has said that the disease has had a obvious effect on my vision as a whole. Hopefully I can get even better at maginging my disease and be right as rain. Job wise I am still working in Wal-mart in electronics (4 year anniversary was on the 11th of this month). However I am looking for a new job and I might have a job with U.S Cellular within the next two weeks. First talent interview yesterday went very well and the recruiter said that he is confident that I'll get the job as long as my second interview goes well. If you actually took the time to read all of this I thank you. I've been with TIF for 5 years now...longest time I've spent with any community by far and as far as Im concerned I consider a lot fo you (you know who you are) very close friends. Take care and catch you on the flip side. stevepole
I have several friends back home in Washington that are machinist. It's definitely seems that with the economy coming back, there are plenty of jobs for them to choice from, especially Boeing if you aren't afraid of the commute to Pain Field from north Seattle, if you'll be living in Shoreline too. I hope you do choose to move to Seattle, Justin, it's an amazing city and one of our countries best keep secrets.

I think it'll work out...It's just going to take a few years but I know I belong out there. I cried on the flight out...it hurt to leave lol. I also had a desire when I was younger to become a machinist or engineer. Hopefully with the trip to Seattle it has rekindled that desire. Hope to hear from you soon bro. Skull
Good luck with everything, Justin. I know it'll work out for you. I've always wanted to go to Seattle, at the very least to visit the city. I've been on the east coast my whole life and I think it's almost time to check out what the west has to offer. One more year of school first though, before I can really think about it. Anyways, it's nice to hear form you. 1 [bleep] the law, they can eat my dick that's word to Pimp
champion
TIF Meetup 2k14 in Seattle. but yeah I live here now and it's great. I doubt you'd have any regrets, there's a little bit of everything here. Only not-great things are the traffic and rent costs, but that kind of applies for most major cities. Let me know if you have any questions.

Estonian dude
Last night, my bicycle got stolen. My only means of transport.Today, I called my mum about a random thing. Ended up a 24 minute phone call. Apparently last weekend beer bottles n shit were thrown around the house. This weekend, my mum takes everything she has bought and takes it to her mum's place. My dad is a complete and utter douchebag and drunkard. The government (tax office) keeps harassing us for 8 [bleep]ing euros that my mum has every right not to pay. She was in direct contact with the head of the tax division of the tax office about that interest and money, filed an application that this 8 euros is because of the [bleep]ing idiocy of tax office workers, the head of tax division said the application is ok and forwarded it, some low-level maggot in the debt division said the application is not okay, to which my mum on the phone directly told the douche to go [bleep] himself. My mum has never had any trouble with the government and was absolutely willing to pay the fines that we already paid, but we have to pay some [bleep]ing interest because of tax office workers' inability to do their jobs is unacceptable. And the amount is 8 euros, which is 10 bucks.I am bankrupt, as I have been for the last 2 months...I am in debts over my head.My knee is [bleep]ed, need to visit an orthopedist tomorrow again.I have probably failed 2 classes this term. Just makes me wonder, why bother with this shit at all. So I've noticed this thread's regulars all follow similar trends. stevepole
If Seattle got an expatiation, would they be able to claim the 1917 Stanley Cup as their own? unkn0wnwarrior
I just called back a potential employer and got a machine. I left a message for them to know I am still interested and asked them to call me back. Last time I did this (just over a week ago) the company never did call back. I sat and stared at the number typed in on my phone for over an hour each time before I could actually bring myself to actually initiate the call. In other news, the people who cut the grass at my current address (which is one of 12 units in the building) finally showed up for the first time this year. The guy who cuts the front did 2 and a half sections (out of 6) and disappeared. That was 25 minutes ago and he still isn't back. Maybe the cheque bounced. Albel
After talking to my girl friend about Seattle she is okay with now. She wasn't at first because she thought I was rushing through things to quickly. While the decision came quickly I won't be moving out there until next year. I need a lot of cash to go out there and get going. It will be the first time I've moved out of the house so it'll be a huge change. Hopefully we can make it happen. On another note I am kinda tipsy right now and I'm typing better then normal...*shrugs* [hide=Quotes]Albel/JustinAlbel doesn't say anything anymore, just comes in, leaves an arrow and vanishes into the night :(Probablypractising some euphoniumYou nearly had me fooled, you fooler youEuphonium/10.9/10.
