They appeared out of order? That's super weird. I hate when my router blips like that. Completely ruins trying to play Battlefield.

That sounds less like trouble following your girlfriend, and more like you deciding to fight people in questionable circumstances.

If you're drunk, go home. You're bothering everyone around you. No one likes a drunk guy falling over his feet, bumping in to people, making them spill their drinks, etc. They like it even less when he's going around touching girls. Problem is that people have become too scared to "make a scene", or "cause drama".

If you're willing to touch someone that does not want to be touched, you have to be willing to take whatever comes with that.

There's really nothing "questionable" about it. Act like a barbaric [bleep], and so will i. Hah.

Craziest weekend in foreseeable future is upon me.

Free food and drinks all night tonight. Suppsedly enough of both.

Free food and at least some drinks tomorrow aswell.

Supposedly a date on Sunday.

Also, Russians having a [bleep]ing demonstration tomorrow. Anxious to see what comes out of it.

We live in the winds of change.

So I've noticed this thread's regulars all follow similar trends.

RPG is constantly dealing with psycho exes.

Muggi reminds us of the joys of polygamy.

Saq is totally oblivious to how much chicks dig him.

I strike out every other week.

Kalphite wages a war against the friend zone.

Randox pretty much stays rational.

Etc, etc

Can you not see where this is tied up in your anger problems, Noxx?

No i get where you're coming from. i have road rage, and i have a slight problem keeping my temper at bay in certain situations. Me driving like a maniac because someone failed to use an indicator/cut me off in traffic, just to get back at him. I see that as being unjust or a "questionable situation". Some guy physically "harming" or "harassing" my girlfriend... Well that i don't. She's family to me.

I'm not going to start a fight with every guy that looks at her. I'm not going to start a fight with ever guy that talks to her.

Heck, every time we meet new people they tell us we're a very "confident couple" because when we're out at a bar or a club or whatever we don't HAVE to be with each other the whole time. I'll do my thing and she'll do hers. We'll watch each other get hit on by other people and it wouldn't bother either of us. But when some guy tries to violate her while i'm standing right there...am i just supposed to turn my back on it? Am i just supposed to say "OH he doesn't mean it, hes just drunk. I'll let it go :)"

Hell no. I'm going to teach him a lesson, even if i have to act like a savage while doing it. I know he's not going to change his ways overnight. I know he's not going to wake up the next morning thinking "Some kid beat the shit out of me last night cause i tried grabbing a stranger's vagina. Maybe i should stop." I'm not naive. But if i can cause him some sort of discomfort for even a short period of time, i'm happy.

And the reason i'm okay with this, personally, is because i'm not putting anyone but myself at risk (as apposed to road rage).

In some situations i believe physically beating someone to a pulp is the only way to settle a matter. What, am i supposed to have a civilized discussion with some drunk telling him i am upset about his behavior? He's not going to listen, nor is he going to care. Should i tell a bouncer and have him removed in a civilized manner? Then next weekend he's back at the same club doing the exact same thing. No, i'll drag him out there by the neck and have him thrown out and banned from the club (which he now has been). Or if i'm not in a place where i can do something like this, i'll knock his face in. That's really the only way to deal with drunk people.

I was talking to a friend (female friend) about these events earlier tonight and she told me at a different club something similar happened. A guy was being disrespectful towards a guy's girlfriend and he got taught a lessons. Him and 3 of his friends dragged the guy outside and beat him so bad he had to be taken up in hospital. I asked her how she felt about it and she told me that he got what he deserved. If you're going to go around telling every girl you see how you're going to [bleep] her like she's a [bleep]... well treat a girl with disrespect and no reason why your punishment should be respectable either.

I think most guys, with out without some rage issues, would react in the exact same manner.

But to get back to your original "question", i do see what your point is. But i don't think in this situation it applies. I don't think my reaction was based on a bad temper, i think it was based on natural male "instinct".

I agree that unlike road rage, your emotions are completely normal and justified here. With that said, however, your actions are completely out of line. Call the bouncer and have him kicked out/banned. Unless these guys are threatening lives, which they aren't, there's absolutely no reason to respond with the same level of violence that you've been reacting with. If the guy shows up somewhere else doing the same thing, why the [bleep] do you care? That's not your problem.

Like i said, i call the bouncer, he escorts the guy out, next weekend he's back at the same club doing the same shit. The only way to get him actually thrown out like the scum he is, is to cause a scene. Why is it my problem? Because it is. You're telling me i should just stand there and watch a drunk [bleep] touch other girls? You forget i'm from South Africa where rape is in the news every day, where rape occurs ever 17 minutes. Family members of mine have been raped. And to me, touching a girl without her consent is rape. You really expect me to just stand there and watch some drunk tosser touch other girls? Nah....

I care because no one else does. It's my problem because ever other guy is too shit scared or spineless to make it their problem. If you want, Muggi, want to just stand there and watch girls get felt up by some drunk then you're more than welcome to do it. If you want to turn your back on the situation and pretend you didn't see anything because you "don't want to get involved" then by all means do it. I'm just not that guy.

It's not rape. It's sexual assault, and it's just as serious, but it's not rape legislatively speaking.

I sympathize with you Noxx, which I don't think anyone else here does. Growing up I was taught by my father that if you don't make a stand yourself, you can't expect things to get better by themselves and you can't expect other people to do it for you. It's probably the most important philosophy I have. I've been in night clubs where girls have been groped when they didn't want to be, and I've confronted guys over a foot taller than me and other guys have supported me. In some clubs, the more grotty ones, it's genuinely the only way to get bouncers to take you seriously.

Here's some advice though: I said confront, not fight. I push them away, I tell them to get lost, I put myself between them and the girl who's rejected them. That's the assertive response. Giving in fisticuffs and rolling around the floor solves the problem, sure, but it's too aggressive, and just puts you in danger. I've seen guys who've done that and ended up spending a night in A&E. It's not worth it, because there's other ways of de-escalating the situation while getting them away from it.

You're in the right, just keep your cool and remember you don't have to hit someone to make your point known.

^ This is the way I'd like to see people react in such situations.

If I had a friend who likes to teach every bad behaving drunk a lesson with his fists, I wouldn't want to go out in his company at all.

I get in between fights pretty much all the time that I see some. If you can't solve it peacefully, you are a [bleep]ing disgrace to humanity and should not exist. I am a pretty huge dude, but I have never hit someone in the face. I haven't had to. 90% of the time I can just grab the worst offender and force him down. And that should be enough to get the bouncers. Even though, normally around here I would get thrown out aswell. We both would, but still.

I have a supermassive hangover.
