Is that based on a book written a while ago, or something completely different?  I may have read the book years ago...

Indeed, by Lois Lowry. I too read it years ago (was a school lecture). It was an interesting concept, but I did not find it that good. The world presented seemed too artificial, and it was just mediocre as far as I remember it...

Today we went to the polls to vote on our country's future.

Then I played some football.

Standard Thursday really.

It isn't in the castle, It isn't in the mist, It's a calling of the waters, As they break to show, The new Black Death, With reactors aglow, Do you think your security, Can keep you in purity, You will not shake us off above or below

Silly Scottish people didn't even vote for their own freedom.

Today I cancelled all my responsibilities appointments.

Slept in.

Fought the corporate drone crowd at my favorite sushi restaurant. Lunch for them, breakfast for me.

Bought half the dollar store because I was too lazy to visit x amount of stores to get what I needed.

Playing Runescape while in bed and reviving my tipit forum acct.

Today is my only day off until next Thursday.

Shaving my beard today. Grown since May. Kinda sad to see it go, but funeral, man.

So I've noticed this thread's regulars all follow similar trends.

RPG is constantly dealing with psycho exes.

Muggi reminds us of the joys of polygamy.

Saq is totally oblivious to how much chicks dig him.

I strike out every other week.

Kalphite wages a war against the friend zone.

Randox pretty much stays rational.

Etc, etc

I had to wear a jacket today, 40 degrees outside...and my shirt has 5 lbs of sweat soaked into it afterwards.

Wish you all the best Tim.  You still have us!

Apples were on sale at the supermarket for $.33/lb.  Some anniversary celebration of the store, but everyone was buying a bunch, including me.

Well, im disowned from my parents now. The next few days/weeks are going to be the roughest [bleep]ing days of my life. 24 years cut out like that

Not to disregard how bad you must be feeling right now and how hard it must be to get dumped from your first and most important relationships.

But, your 24 and hopefully economically dependent and I hope your attitude at this point is something like, "Hey you ignorant [bleep]s I don't want to continue a relationship with you until you learn to accept me for who I am"

Wow, I feel for you. Must be harsh, but if they've never supported you, I think it's better in the long run. All the best from me as well.

I can't remember such a harsh morning.

A bit too much vodka and beer.

Not good mixed.

Nah, it wasn't literally mixed.

But vodka was in shots and beer was taken in between.

Today, gonna be a large march celebrating the 70th anniversary of the fight against occupation.

My korporatsioon is organizing the thing after. Gonna be a hectic time as a fox.
