Store didn't have Fallout 4 nor Tomb Raider :s Virgin Megastore probably has it, but they're not within walking distance so i couldn't check there. Settled with Black Ops 3 for now (until my car's able to navigate these damn roads again). It's actually better than i expected.

Lmao... yeah, i actually didn't think about buying them online. Thing is my card isn't connected to my Xbox Live account so whenever i want to buy something online i have to buy the gift cards first. So usually it's not something i think about. I might just go do that tomorrow.

As for BO3, i actually think AW was better. Despite all the hate it got, even from myself, i really enjoyed it. The only thing that really ruined the experience for me at times was the connection and the matchmaking. BO3 seems a bit harder because it's so easy.

Do you have breakers? You could turn one off and move the stuff you need to other outlets?

There's a breaker box in my apartment but it's bolted shut. I could remove and replace the outlet myself but I can't do that with the electricity still on.

I feel like there is a building code not being met here...

My life is turning into Winter Tires: The Epic Sega[/i]

Episode 1: The False Start: (last week) I went to get the new winter tires mounted and put on the car, but the tires hadn't arrived yet despite being ordered two weeks prior. But it didn't matter, because I didn't have the winter rims with me with the old tires, which is super important because the winter rims are 15", while the summer rims are 16", and wouldn't that have been really embarrassing when they went to mount them (it's not my car, so it's not my fault I didn't remember about the winter rims).

Episode 2: Unforeseen Problems: (today) I discovered that lock nuts are garbage and apparently I put them on too tight last time I had the tires off (by hand), and they broke not only my locknut key, but the dealers lock nut key as well when I went over to them to see about getting a replacement. On the upside, the new winter tires are mounted on their rims. They're just being super useful, riding around in the trunk for now.

Episode 3: Wallets Solve All Issues: So, episode 3 will be finally getting the wheels off. The solution is to weld a nut onto the lock nuts, which my Dad could do if he weren't indisposed by recently having his hip replaced, so for the lovely anticipated price of $100 per wheel, I get to take the car to an autobody shop so they can remove the lock nuts, because I don't know how to weld, and I'm pretty sure the rims cost more than that, so now wouldn't be a good time to learn. On the upside, one of the lock nuts was able to be removed, so I'll only have to pay for 3 wheels.

And for anyone thinking this would really suck if I got a flat, it actually matters a lot less than you'd think. Mini's don't have room for spare tires anyway, so not being able to get 75% of the wheels off doesn't make a huge amount of different. Of course, it would be a big tease if it happened right now, since I actually do have spare tires (four of them) riding around in the back.

I really didn't like AW, except the campaign which was pretty good. BO3 campaign is awful, I couldn't make it past the fourth level because it's just so boring. The online feels more responsive and balanced though, maps are actually fun and zombies is almost worth it on its own.

Who plays multi-player online fps games for the plot?

COD used to have legendary campaigns. MW and MW2 are still fun to rerun every once and a while.

I know a low of people disliked AW because the movement was too big of a leap. You went from "boots on the ground" to halo in just one game. I really liked the movement though. If it wasn't for the pisspoor matchmaking, i probably would never have stopped playing AW. But when 9/10 of your games are 1-bar games, then it really just sucks the fun out of it. BO3 so far though is actually really impressing me. Guns seem pretty alright in terms of balance. I've been using several different guns and been doing alright with all of them. The movement also seems... more fluent. Less forced. There's a lot less BS deaths. It's fun. I'll probably try the Zombies out eventually, but that's never really been my thing.

Today,

I got the first 2 of my 5 ordered ties from China. Pretty solid actually.

Those 2 were the only package that I couldn't track.

The other 3 ties are in 2 packs that have been delivered to our capital 5 days ago and yesterday. Supposedly still sitting in the customs...

So I've noticed this thread's regulars all follow similar trends.

RPG is constantly dealing with psycho exes.

Muggi reminds us of the joys of polygamy.

Saq is totally oblivious to how much chicks dig him.

I strike out every other week.

Kalphite wages a war against the friend zone.

Randox pretty much stays rational.

Etc, etc

The final mission in BO3 makes it all worth it. Though I'm still hoping that one day they'll be able to make a CoD campaign as good as MW1, MW2, or BO1 again.

I rolled down the window in my car and I heard a huge cracking sound. Needless to say, my window doesn't go up anymore. I guess I need to order some parts, crack open my door panel, and replace the lift.

“I had a feeling we weren’t coming back from this fight when it began.”

“Do you have any regrets?”

“I don’t. It seems surprising, I know, but I wouldn’t change a thing. This is how it was meant to be.”

“Huh, you never really notice how lovely the day is until you realize you’ll never see it again.”

“Mmmhmm.”

When i was studying in the US, a friend and I bought an old Cabrio. At one point the window stopped working as well. It didn't wan't to close all the way, so there was always like an inch or two open. And eventually it just didn't want to go up at all. We opened up the door the one day to see if we could figure out what was wrong with it and noticed there was a convenient hole right under the mechanism. So we took a plastic cup, wrapped it in tape (i don't really know why) and placed it in the hole. The mechanism rested on the cup and it kept the window shut from then on. We even ended up selling the car like that.

The window just falls back down while driving, so that isn't an option. I also like rolling down my windows.

Duct tape can fix anything, better block it from going down by putting some duct tape at the bottom then making sure no water goes through by putting some on top of the window  :twss:

Or I can just fix it like a responsible car owner... It is only like $40 to fix.

In typical exchange student fashion I am:

In Toronto for the first week of Christmas break and in New York City for the second week of Christmas break.

For my birthday I will probably just eat at a decent restaurant back here.

Sometimes when I'm drunk I just flat out say false things. Like "I haven't been on Facebook in months" but usually I catch myself and say "that was a blatant lie, actually (true statement goes here)". I don't know if it's drunk me trying to be funny or drink me just lying for fun

Yeah it was sorta like that. I was just bullshitting and didn't think she believed me, but she did. It's something that likely won't come up in conversation often so I'm just not going to revisit it unless she asks

I have an exam at 10 AM tomorrow.

And I've spent the last 2 days with my girl...

And playing Dust on PS3.

And baking stuff.

Procrastination to the max.

On Tuesday I will start with my new job and I will have an appointment with the surgeon who will finally quite probably have a surgery on my knee on some later date, so I can get it fixed. And it is also the day of the university prom. Where I got free entry cause I will be performing on the academic part of the prom.

But my girl can't come, so I will be there alone...

i feel ya

Anthropology exam on Thursday and I just cannot be bothered to even look at the notes.

The lecturer puts too much information on a slide and is overall unappealing.

He's going to put a practice exam online on Wednesday.

In other news, booked my Greyhound to Toronto so Christmas plans are official.

Well, you probably could. Don't [bleep] up, and you'll be just fine.
